I’ve been single most of her life and she gets upset about our s* life because she’s heard us a couple times no matter how hard we try to be quiet. I lost my confidence, I felt like my husband just saw me as just a mom to the kids, between school stuff, sports stuff and working full time. I agree 100% we are always in our heads I am learning to get back to that part of me and my husband.

Oh my God, It’s like you made this video for me. I was married twelve years, divorced and then my mom went thru her own separation at the same time. I’m an only child so me and my son moved in with my mom so we could help each other out. I was dating someone and we were also heard (her room is under mine and my sons is next to me). My son never heard me but she actually knocked on my door in the middle of it and was furious. She made me feel like the filthiest thing on planet Earth, this was last year and I’m still trying to figure out how to stop feeling shame. I should also mention my grandmother and mother are both super Catholic… it’s made me resent the church and those beliefs and I no longer want to be part of it. This is a huuuuuge struggle for me right now, I’m so glad you made this video.

I have 2 teenage daughter's and all rooms are close together so I definitely know what you're talking about. It sucks! It's hard to have intimate time with my husband but we try to sneak away to the room or yes wait till they go to bed at like 2am 😢 This I know will always be a struggle until they are off to college 😢
I can relate lol .having to be extra quiet is not fun .sometimes I feel like I'm extra quiet and I enjoy being loud .even if I wanted to explore alone my dig would be at my door or it would be tough . I think finding the time alone .
After I had the first stroke I met my fiancé and he’s from Atlanta and I live in England and I went to Atlanta with my 2 youngest kids. When I came back after 90 days I asked my oldest (daughter) to get me a pregnancy test and she was like for what? I asked her what did you think I was doing with a grown man for 90 days and I was 39 and told her I’m still a woman. Then in 2022 I had 2 more strokes and the 2nd one was a bleed and affected my speech and bladder and I was a lot weaker. My fiancé came to take care of me and was still obsessed with me and my youngest daughter’s bedroom wall is also my wall and we had to be quiet because she would bang on the wall 😂😂😂. But we figured it out. Also my middle son has conversations with me about everything including his friends mother trying to get with him. He was like ew why does a 40 year old woman still want sex. I said I’m 46 our desires don’t just stop at 30.( plus he’s seen my toys a few times when helping to clean my room 😂😂😂 but all my kids are pretty open about asking questions now 25,24,22 &14 years old. Even disabled mums need intimacy 😅❤❤❤
Great video. I have religious trauma with repression of seggual desires. Also my ten year old sons room is across from ours. It always feels strategic and trying to be quiet and mindful the whole time makes the experience not as fun. I know he has heard us. I know it. And its so awkward to think about because i know he will never say anything but i do think he knows what sex is. Weve never had the conversation yet bc hes still in-between immaturity and maturing. Maybe in a couple years. But yes i wish we had time to do it when hes not there but the only times are when hes home.
