they nerfed him like they do in all the team up movies. hulk and thor get a huge nerf in every avengers movie

@ZarrarAAli 🤔 hulk has no regeneration, he doesn't get stronger the mader he gets, gets used as a punching bag every time they want to introduce a new hero... tell us again how hulk wasn't nerfed, because for all tens and purposes he is just a big dumb green guy with the name hulk slapped on him. Hulk has one shoted captain marvel without breaking a sweat in the comics but in the MsheU he's just a angry toddler on steroids and green body paint.

@histguy101 thor for one and that was in the first avengers but even before that he still didn't have the rage based strength and the insane healing factor that's on par with dead pool so yes nerfed indeed from the beginning

Thor has never been weak his entire life. So weak, no. He was incredibly sad and depressed. He felt like he let everyone down. In the end, he was there for the fight. He is anything but weak.

Thor was weak because he felt that it was his fault Thanos won. His arrogance and want for revenge made him gloat his victory in Infinity War and it laid its weight on him like a ton of bricks. Half the universe wiped out because you wanted to flex you had won a fight. The words “ashamed” and “depressed” just don’t cut it, but considering how he would have felt it’s fair that he let himself go a little
i bet even a Hardcore olympian athlete will become weak as well if they suddenly become fat like Nikocado Avocado

@@jensenraylight8011Wrong comparison. Thor isn't a human. His strength doesn't necessitate bulky muscles. He's an Asguardian who grows stronger with age. If physique were to determine the power, then Odin and Zeus would be the weakest of all 😂

@@nitishchauhan8113 You’re wrong. This was the way the plot was made to go. If IW Thor was in end game, what would be the point of Captain Marvel in that fight? The whole panderverse and MSheU started from Endgame sorta. All the male avengers who were powerhouses meant to dominate that fight were nerfed or occupied. Even Dr strange was made to babysit the waters.

@@user-ww5lo2ou3cit just tells you how strong Thanos is. If Iron man needed 5 minutes to defeat Hulk with Hulkbuster, Thanos did it in just 30 seconds. Simply Thanos is built different. When you see how durable cap was and only one punch from Thanos was ending for him, when you look at how great was Ironman's nano-tech suit, better than all suits he had before and seeing how easily Thanos destroyed it... Simply Thanos's puches are different.

NERD here...I was pissed that pretty much ALL the Avengers were not powered to their comic book powers, HULK and THOR were DE-POWERED...
That's just what happens when you turn a comic into live action. Comics are hyperbolic and over the top
To an extent, you cant have overpowered hero so it comes as balance. I dont say I agree with way marvel brought balance. But if they put comic Hulk in the movie, there would be no villain able to stop him and everything would rely on Hulk... which would be boring if its movie about avengers but only one carries them all through the story.

Thor is like marvel comics projection of whatever plot they want to push, on one hand all the multiverse Thor's in battleworld are merely "the police" and many die to villains lesser than Thanos, his clone can get outsmarted and beheaded by Capt marvel, he can get knocked out with one punch by sentry, but on the other hand rune king Thor is considered one of the most powerful beings ever in the comics, and Thor gifted by Galactus with the power cosmic is also up there as one of the baddest entities ever in marvel comics where he took out Galactus in a fight and blew him up to also blow up that star eating monster...so it appears thor is used as either the A list God level leading man, or as the big time stunt guy who takes one for the team(writing team) so as to show off some other characters
In endame thor didnt use anything of lightning in ranganrok he summond a lightning in a size of a mountain with his hands or in Infinity war he destroyed the whole wardogs army with one jump
Thor didn't almost kill Thanos in Infinity War it was just Stormbreaker and you don't have to be worthy to use Stormbreaker so Hawkey would also almost kill Thanos in Infinity War

The thing i dont get is Thors metabolism would be to powerful for most earth foods & drunks to make him fat and out of shape no matter how much of it he ate & drank!

@montagne3917 It's still Earths materials, though. Asgard now is little more than a fishing village that used to be Tonsberg, where The Redskull found the Tesseract! And they likely have nothing from Asgard that would be capable of lasting 5 years! Just remember the ship they escaped Asgard on wasn't an Asgardian ship it was a Sakaran ship! So they didn't load it up with Asgardian food & drink! Also, as a supplemental, Valkyrie was on Sakar for 100s of years drinking to forget all the dead Valkyries that Hela killed! And she didn't put on a tonne of weight either, soooooo ya see what I'm saying?

Idk if you actually realize that asgardians are studied magic and knowledge from what they called nine realms for millennia. Doesn't matter if it's earth materials or not, they have more knowledge of processing the materials than the humans on the earth

the biggest disapppointment was that Hulk got his ass kicked by Thanos. In the comics, Hulk is one of the few beings Thanos actively avoids.
Marvel still did portray Thor as the strongest avenger, it shown before the big 3 fight thanos, Tony and Steve were just now recovering while Thor been up staring thanos down while he waited for the others to get up.
In other words, they wrote themselves into a corner. They couldn't remove Thor from a movie this important, but after IW, he would have one-hit the final boss

Thor was able to beat Thanos with infinity stones, because of the surprise attack.
Also the Thanos with soul stone was not killing anyone unless absolutely necessary as now he had a connection with every living being.

Well. From my point of view, i just thought that in Avengers Endgame, the directors were looking to make a real norse mythical Thor who was Fat & always loved Mead.
Thor wasn't nerfed 2018 Thanos was the one that was nerfed because he constantly use the stones when he fights and 2014 Thanos didn't had the stones yet

Thor let himself go after killing Thanos. He still felt extreme guilt, and thought that he could wash away his problems with alcohol.
Nah, simply Thor wasn't in shape, that's it. He lost his mother, his father, he watched his friend die, watched his brother die, he watched destroying the Asgard and than on top of all that he felt that it was hia fault because of half of universe died when he made a decition to kill Thanos slowly than hitting him in head. After all that, it was literally too much for Thor and he lost hope and everything after that... That's why he fucked himself in Endgame and it makes sense.
Simply put, they can't make a powerful villain without severely weakingen an existing character.
Actually endgame Thor was the strongest coz in infinity war he had only stormbreaker but in endgame he had 2 powerful weapons to defeat thanos 💝

I think the logic is very wrong in infinity war Thanos was not ready for Thor attack and he was processing the infinity stone at that time and we have seen every time he welded a power stone he got weaker with his techniques also became more merciful. While endgame Thanos was the kill happy Thanos with full momentum and no infinity stone he has his techniques of fighting just like we have seen in infinity war movie at first with hulk vs Thanos also 2nd reason Thor became slower because of his not fighting and fatness. So it's not only promo but also he is the most strongest when it comes to hand to hand😊

2014 Thanos I think they were getting at was more lithe, virulent and 4 years younger or however many years, and was at his peak, though idk how the 14 Thanos could have known about what happened in 18 when storm breaker broke his chest, bc IV read that's why Thanos was pushing the axe into Thor's chest and grinning as if "how do you like it" but how could he have known what technically didn't happen yet? but either way iv come across several accounts of opinion that 14 Thanos was faster stronger and tougher than 18, where 18 was wiser and smarter
