I am having issues with my13 TnC and I think it maybe the throttle body. I will lose power driving down the road it's like I don't have any peddle and van slowly speeds up it's weird
@@RogerCulbersonMedia mine has been having this issue. It started slow when I changed the air filter. I took it to a mechanic to diagnose. First MAP sensor was replaced. Then the vaccum booster for power brakes and the booster itself. Went to a second shop still with issue and they say it's my transmission. I'm also noticing when I'm at idle it's the only time doing this. At stop light or when braking. I'm ordering the part today. It's less than $100 hopefully this can solve it. It's a nice van and we need it.
@@erikrodriguez775 I also have transmission issues. The 62te transmission has some known issues. I did fluid and filter change and recently replaced the bushing on the shift shaft

They said it was a bad battery. Replaced the battery but it did not solve the problem. I took it to auto zone. It coded out with a bad throttle body sensor and a bad throttle pedal position sensor. Is there a way to determine which one is causing the issue? Any help would be appreciated.
I certainly don't see any harm in trying to clean it instead of replacing provided you know a replacement is available nearby so you don't end up stranding yourself. It's the route I'd take anyway.

I have the same van, this warning light comes sometimes. When I shut the van off and restart it it doesn’t come until you drive for a period of time then once the can is shut off the light goes off. I’m not sure if this means it needs replaced?

Great video. I replaced the throttle body easily. Initially started right up afterwards then my son turned it off after 20 seconds or so and tried to restart and it will not restart. Took it apart and tried again and still will not start. Also, one of the screws that attaches the throttle body seems stripped. Any suggestions?

Thank you for the sub! It's funny you mention that you mention the door lock because I'm about to look into the same thing but mine is the passenger side rear sliding door. I will dig into it and get back with you.
Geoffrey Ssebagala Great question and the answer is only a maybe. This van also has another problem that you might need to get checked out if your isn’t starting at all. The fuel pump relay is soldered directly into the TIPM, which is the totality inter graded power module. To replace the whole TIPM isn’t cheap. So if you solder in a new relay please be really careful. Or you want I can make a video of what I did to bypass the issue.
Please don't clean them 🤣 I've clean dozens of these for customers to save them money and never once had a return customer for the same problem yes the TPS on them can go bad but it's rarely a problem of them going bad on a Chrysler 95% of the time it's just carbon build up that puts the code on the dash

@@dennismichael4012had issues slow acceleration at times not all the time etc and today we got the lightening on the dashboard ugh

Was your van dying when you stopped at a red light or stop sign?

I cleaned mine and it looked 3 times worse then yours , cleaned up like new and and problem fixed ! Check engine light went off on its own

Would having this problem make it overheat?
No. This issue would make it not start or run bad. If your issue is over heating then it is either your hoses, thermostat, radiator, or water pump.
Karissa am going thru the same problem can’t find the problem and there’s no leaks
