the durability definitely needs to keep up with the rest of the technology. it has gone the opposite direction with the hypto crypto.

If you order from their store or get a custom the durability is fine, however if you get the board from your local surf shop or off GSI (Global Surf Industries), the boards are made in Thailand, and have crap durability. I have had mine for 2 years and no issues from AUS

Unfortunately, Hayden Cox's name is attached to the junk coming from Thailand. The second replacement board is holding up better. Doesn't have the same, numerous heel dents as the first one did.
