Great showing of the Cadillac, just forgot to show how to open the gas tank at the left side taillight. I use to get a kick out of watching the gas station attendant trying to find it, then daddy would get out and show them. Thanks for the memories.
Hello from Detroit!!! I have one myself. It's also a single family owned vehicle. It has spent most of its life in California. 74.5K Miles. They were built right here in Detroit. On the cowl, you'll see the metal stamp with the style, body, trim and paint numbers. Awesome vehicle!
You can make out the original price on the bill of sale. It's about $6600. Just for fun, I checked what that would be worth in 2018 dollars. That's a pretty expensive car then and now.. $6,600 in 1956 adjusted for inflation =$61,144 in 2018. A buck just ain't worth a buck anymore. It's worth 10 cents compared to 1956.
What’s that weird looking thing on the dashboard? To the left of the steering wheel...looks like a rear view mirror? Obviously it’s not because it’s inside the car...what the heck is that thing?
Amazing car. I live the picture with the dog. Notice the love and strength of the country was represented by an American Pit Bull Terrier.

Most instant popular body style in 1956, outselling 4 door pillared sedan and Coupe DeVille.
Glad to see it was so well preserved
Beautiful Cadillac. One of my favorite years.

Simply awesome...it appears to have every single option offered by Caddy for 1956...the airconditioning blows me away...

Just incredible! Thanks for the detailed history and explanation
Absolutely gorgeous! Such a awsome story!
What a gem 😁 absolutely beautiful
Love those Tail Lights and that Rear Quarter View. Don’t know why they didn’t have center Armrests.
Make America great as this car was.....
I love this car
Amazing car...so rare.
Beautiful car old fashion it's the best 💪💪✌
A gorgeous car
Love it!
A real pearl !
Beautiful but that car should be near silent. Vintage Cadillacs should sound as they were designed.

I’ll take it!!!!!!!
The springs have sagged. Needs helper shocks to restore correct ride height.
WOW, THATS AMAZING, DOES SOLD MEAN OUT OF THE FAMILY?
what is an 'actual mile', as opposed to a non-actual mile?
Wow, realy awesome Car, my favorite one 😍😍 and realy good video quality 👌👍 wich camera you used ?
Leaf springs? On a Cadillac? My grandfather's 1956 Buick Special had coils. Nevertheless, a really nice old car.
Blessed be those who lived in that era who didn't see the evils of nowadays
American treasure
🇺🇲 😊
