Only a 6-7kg difference between her here and her when she was larger at worlds, is very interesting. I think part of it is that she would store some of it in her face, making the difference visually more striking. Strength loss shouldn't be a huge issue then, only factoring that in.

There could definitely be improvements with how they go about the press conference thing, yea. I feel it would be cooler group them up closer, and let them all talk within reason, and respond to each other in a more casual lax way, get some banter going and more material for them to work with as they're answering questions. The vibe looks so boring for the other competitors. Also it's harder to get some tension and drama going in such an environment, if an athletes wants to do that, compared to a more fun, lively environment where other competitors can chime in whenever.
