- For the first time in a really long time I'm able to create a Halloween themed chocolate showpiece. I love the way this cute little spider turned out! My favorite part are the red sugar eyes.
This is definitely the sweetest way to vanquish your fear of spiders!

As a spider enthusist I'm delighted by how realistic this spider looks! The manibles! The legs! The eyes! The abdomen! It's all so beautiful and I love them so much!

So what species of spider is this that he made??
I think I got it wrong in saying Black Widow
@ejrilling Definitely agree it's from the genus Latrodectus (black widow spiders). I'd say L. variolus has the same markings as Amauri's design but idk if that species is what he was going for or he just made up this design from his head. Either way, it was beautifully made and I appreciate more arthropod representation
@@helenhong6794id say it’s closer to Lycosidae spiders tbh! The pointed abdomen and wide cephalothorax (and huge puppy dog eyes) are wolf spider ish to me

I love the random spinning bucket at the beginning even though he didn't even need to use a bucket 😂
He used the bucket in the very beginning to pour the chocolate into the mold.

Yes, that and the quick heating of the top layer helps bond the two parts better.

Forget pumpkin carving, chocolate's where it's at for spooky sculptures! This was already so incredible, and then you pulled out the cotton candy and I just went "of course! it's such a perfect fit!"

Now I’m not a fan of spiders and I’m a bit scared of them BUT this spider is a masterpiece! I don’t know to be scared of it or admire it for hours? I have mixed feelings.
