I could watch your channel nonstop. I wish there were crystals like that here
You may have gemstones beneath your feet. Ask Googel for your area.
You're pretty much living my dream, Liz! Thanks for being so generous in showing us what you get up to. :) xo
Thanks for watching and commenting Meg. I upload these videos to show that anyone can do this. Wishing you all the very best, Liz
Thanks for all of your infectious enthusiasm Liz. I know nothing about this type of prospecting but it looks interesting.
Wal only ever used to go for Gold and Sapphires before he met me. Now every time we're in a gemfield, it's very difficult to get him to stop digging or noodling. He says that it's the hunt that keeps him going. But I say that it's the company....lol
Wish I could just go out the front door and find stuff like you 2 do. Would be so amazing. Your so lucky.
I wish I could do that too Tammy. We have to travel thousands of miles away from home to find these. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Yeah true. I forget how big Australia is. I would have to do the same thing driving across America to find things. Either there isn't much in Southern California or nobody talks as give the locations. It would be nice to if most wasn't out in the desert. I would love how excited you get at every hunt.
Absolutely Beautiful Liz. You my dear, ROCK!!!
:-) Thanks for the comment. Cheers, LIz
I find these videos quite relaxing to watch.
THEdragon Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Liz
Hi Liz I just found your videos. You are awesome. I can not imagine living in a place that has so many goodies. Opals amethysts and everything else. Thank you!
I stumbled onto yours and Wals youtubes, while I was looking at ways to embroider cabochons :) and I have to say, you make gem hunting so fun and I love your enthusiasm. Am looking forward to watching more of your hunting adventures :) Thank you both for making your channels :)
+Amaia Devon You're welcome Amaia. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Cheers, Liz

Have a nice day
Thanks for watching and commenting Berna and glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers, Liz
I love watching you hunting for gems, i'm very disappointed that there are no gemstones in my country (Belgium) Looking for gemstones is one of the things i'd like to do in my life. Luckily i have a collection of gems in my room that i got from souvenir shops from trips.
Hi Lien, We had a friend from Belgium sent us some Fossils such as belemnites and Ink Fish, Petrified wood and Tiger Iron. According to him, they all came from Belgium. Also, you live in a country which is so close to other countries that are rich in minerals and gemstones. In this video, we traveled 4000 km to get to this area to hunt for gems. Cheers, Liz
Great finds! Love this video. You are on the treasure.
Thanks for watching Indy2 and hope everythings great over your way. Cheers, Liz
Love her shows
Kareem Dailey Thanks for watching and commenting Kareem. I'm glad you enjoyed my videos. Wishing you all the very best. Cheers, Liz
I feel so sorry for the amethyst lovers who are watching this RIP AMETHYST PLATES
hi Liz.. I wish someday I could come to your places and go hunt for some nice stones with you and your folks. :)
Awesome video ! Beautiful quartz, I guess you made jewelry with that smokie quartz ! When will you be doing another Opal video ? I enjoy watching your videos !
Glad you enjoyed watching my videos William. They are a lot of work and takes time for me to edit them. I've got a few Opal vids waiting to be edited.... I'll eventually get around to doing them when I'm not too busy prospecting....lol Wish you all the very best, Liz
Oh shits Liz,its so Izzy to find in u're place.its awesome ametyst 👍 i love it So much 👏👏👏👏
I wish I lived there! I live in Malta and the only stone I found was calcite

Lori Kartowidjojo It is a lot of fun and very relaxing for the mind Lori. I hope that you'll get the chance to go prospecting one day. Thanks for watching and commenting and wish you all the very best. Cheers, Liz
i want to buy it all!!!
OMG Liz, you just have way too much fun!!!! Do you ever look for jasper??
Hi jcb, Jaspers are quite common and we seem to find them in just about every prospecting field we go to.
You're right!!! It is sooooo much fun that I struggle coming home after every prospecting trip. I wish I could join the SKI club....lol
NICE TO HAVE A LADY TO SHARE YOUR SEARCHING FOR GEM STONES ANY LADY OUT THERE LIKE TO TRAVEL LOOKING FOR GEM STONES
Love your videos Liz ! Also the captioning is always very entertaining! I can understand you fine but i leave it to laugh at what it types up!
Where ever you go there is treasure at your feet. Knowledge is the key. Love your video on amysthide. Finding the giant bolder. Have you find one that you must take to gently cut it open with machine? I seen beautiful one at specialty gift shop. The are just magnificent.
Happy hunting
Yack
We have seen some large over a meter plates that would have been spectacular specimens. Unfortunately we left them behind for someone else to have fun digging with. We only ever take small specimens to keep as a memento. It's the challenge of the hunt that keeps us interested. Cheers, Liz
Amethyst
Liz so envious of your finds. Is this the Harts Range area? Not that I know it but wld so love to be fossicking like you & Wal do. I'm like you, it's about the gems more that gold or sapphires. Incredible amethyst. Do you sell any if your finds? X
Hi Lisa, This is in the Northern Territory area and don't mind sharing the exact location. Because of too many people doing the wrong thing, I don't want to say on the videos or the comment box exactly where the spots are anymore. Just send me a private message for the mud map. Thanks for watching and commenting and wish you all the very best. Cheers, Liz
You're so amazing! :)
I would love to own some crystals myself.
Great video, where are you at? Your accent sounds Australian. I metal detect for gold and hunt for minerals as well and dream of going to Australia! Great video!
This is in Northern Territory, Australia. Thanks for watching James and all the best of luck out there. Happy Hunting. Cheers, Liz
one nice RUclips channel for gem lover.
Abhimanyau Neupane Thanks for watching Abhimanyau and glad you enjoyed the video. Wishing you all the very best. Cheers, Liz
I love her shows
Kareem Dailey Thanks for watching Kareem. Cheers, Liz
parabéns São lindas
Amazing. Just wondering what you mean when you say you can't take some home? Is it not possible to bring back all that you find?
Hi Glaiceana, Thanks for watching and commenting. We are on the road thousands of miles from home. Since there's a lot of gemfields on the way, we have to be selective and put a limit to ourselves as to what and how much we take as our vehicle can only take so much weight. Cheers, Liz
Liz Kreate Oh right that makes sense. And yes I've been watching for a while now, originally found you from the wire wrapping tutorial video, which I used to wrap a boulder opal I purchased. I love the videos of you finding things, it would be so much fun to do this, but I don't think we have gemfields like this in the UK lol xD
Glaiceana Glaiceana,You live in a country full of history and yes, you do have lots of gemstones. I just had a quick look on the net with regards to finding gemstones and found "Britains Treasure Map. From Roman coins to fossils and priceless gems. www.countryfile.com/treasure
With a little research and keeping your eye on the ground, you'll be surprise as to what you'll find. Hope you'll get the chance to go out and prospect as it is a lot of fun. Good luck and happy hunting.
@@Glaiceana
Google it you may be surproposed. I just typed in. Gemstones in the UK and there are many
Great Crystal Amethysts love watching your videos can I ask where you were digging on this video we would love to try finding some for ourselves as we do some fossicking for sapphires but love amethyst we went to Cloncurry but my husband got sick so we couldnt continue on our trip regards Lorraine and John

fossicking.nt.gov.au/declared-fossicking-areas/wave-hill
take me with you!!! I love it !
Thanks for commenting Roberto and hope you'll get to go out there and collect some of these one day. Cheers, Liz
Amazing vid as always
As you've requested Timi....:-) Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Liz
from your videos, I just know that in Australia is very easy to find gemstones in the wild. but I wonder why so few people were mining it there. if it happens in Indonesia (at my place), it will be a lot of people who come to the place to pick up the stones. in my place, even agate-like pebbles will be hunted by many people.
By the way, I love your amethyst stone, how do I to get it? did you sell it? thanks.
regards,
Ananda
I apologize for the late reply Ananda, but just found your comment. There are a lot of mining companies all over Australia. I guess we're lucky that the land is so vast that the professional miners can afford to neglect a lot of areas that doesn't produce as much minerals set on their quota.
I don't sell any as of the moment but will be selling some in the future. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Liz
Thank you for this video! :D
and thank you for watching Luc. Cheers, Liz
wow..its beityfull
Πολύ ωραίο!!!
Ευχαριστώ.
I found a medium one in a trash heap and a small one in a crack in the sidewalk
Some of it looked like chocolate pie so delicious.
You're making me hungry now.
fascinating
Cheers.
Sam Ragil :-)
How do you know what to take home with you and what to leave? And I mean this with ANY gemstone or minerals
You take home whatever is the prettiest whatever fills you with the most joy as long as you have such abundance. When you don't have as much to choose from you take everything that you find
wow ... im so stupid ahaha , when i went in Australia close to Rockampton i kick everyday that kind of Rocks ... Liz , next time i will in Australia i will send u picture of all i found so u can teach me :) , your video are wonderful , Ciaooo ;)
What was the pick Wal was using for the trench?
Ryan Smith Hi Ryan, It's a garrett pick and we bought it about 3 years ago. Cheers, Liz
way cool
Just, wow. How do you know where the good things are? And how do you become a gem hunter? :D
+Nadja Olesen Hi Nadja, Here in Australia, hunting for gems is a recreational activity associated with camping. We have designated fossicking/prospecting areas where the public can find their own gems or minerals. Cheers, Liz
All stone are from after sea salt
I want one they look so cool do u have a website where ur selling them
Thanks for watching FTW. Unfortunately, I only have enough for my collection since I've given away a few to close friends and relatives. Take care and wish you all the very best, Liz
ok thank u for the answer
You'd really like Steven Universe. There are some characters that are after some of these stones.
Just because TEH characters are named after it, doesn't exactly mean an adult is going to like a really childish kids show...
+Tubs Of Play Doh I wouldn't call Steven Universe childish. Many teenagers and adults enjoy the show and the characters are extremely well-developed.
Yeah it's a really awesome show it's like the only Cartoon Network show that I am glued onto all the time
and I want geodes at least one on my b-day and my mother said he give me one and I very excited
I'm so sad that I don't live near places that have good crystals :(
+Lizard Lab Don't be sad. :-) Most of the places we go to find gold and gems, are hundreds and thousands of miles from where we live. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you'll get the chance to go prospecting one day. All the best, Liz
Liz kreate can you tell me were you are making this video plz
Just think the chisel side of the hammer might split that right in half

Did you have a plan to come to indonesia? Maybe i can learn from you how to search crystal gemstone hheee..
Were you still in Australia when you found the Smokey quartz?
Yes we are Desiree. All of our prospecting videos are from Australia. Cheers, Liz
Hi liz, can you please teach me how to find prospect locations for amethyst..?
Amatt Ter Hi Amatt, I can't take you personally and teach you. But through my prospecting videos, you can easily pick up pointers and even locations as to where and how you can find them. Good luck and wish you all the best. Cheers, Liz
Liz Kreate Wow! You replied.. haha.. I dont mean teach me personally, your video helps.. But i dont know what the ground should be like, ground heights, or how deep the plates can be found.. I've located some prospect ground in my country and i used some of your method, but still cant find plates..
Amatt Ter Different areas will have different types of crystal formations. Rather than explain at length the long process...LOL The link below might be able to explain better. Cheers, Liz
www.bwsmigel.info/lesson10/de.gem.formation.html

Yes they are worth some money Desiree. Cheers, Liz
Do you ever come across any snakes in your adventures ?
I mean where exactly is this place
This is in Wave Hill Station, Northern Territory, Australia. Cheers, Liz

Takes thousands of years for natural crystals to grow, each variety of crystals and gem stones have its own special sorta like code/recipe for its growth.
Where are you in austalia are you near Brisbane
I live in WA in the USA, does anyone know where Amethyst grow in WA or the US?
Ask google
We have Amethyst here in Nevada

Same!!
Have a crystal obsession, huh? Watch Steven Universe.
I wish i could find crystals
Cynthia Rehn Thanks for watching Cynthia. My 5 year old neighbor found a crystal cluster in front of his house from road base. One just never knows what's out there and that's why I always keep my eyes on the ground. Cheers, Liz
Is that australian dialect
I want to go digging for amethysts and sell them on ebay
Question you can just take them. thats nice
Here in Australia, anyone can take them as this is a public designated prospecting area. Cheers, Liz
Oh oke. Thats cool. I live all the way in south america but thanks.
I found a plate of Carnelian on a mountain
You're lucky. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Liz Kreate oh thank you
What is this
Amethyst
another reason Australia is awesome! Jealous!
you should wear pink gloves when hunting for amethysts. Your purple gloves make the amethysts look dirty brown :-D
What's with the comments
I think all men have that smashing disease Liz! Well my husband anyway, bless their hearts!
Its So Wierd Hearing "Amethyst" I Was Like STEVEN-"Smoky Quartz"...*LE GASP*STEVEN UNIVERSE!!!!
100% of this comment section is cringey Steven Universe fans.
