The scene where he walks into the warehouse with the two rival gangs & says, "I'll dance with ya."? That got me all gitty inside lol. I so badly want to see more. I hope the ratings are so overwhelmingly positive, that it makes Netflix rethink canceling this one.

@@joshhill212 in terms of rating.. it wont be good news.. the thing is that netflix has to pay disney to use their characters. the royalties they pay are increased because disney is going to have their own streaming service, so disney is gonnna ask more so netflix doesn't want to make those shows anymore and disney can get out of their deal with netflix..
bottomline is that the ratings are good compared to the rest of the netflix shows, but since netflix doesnt own the marvel shows, they dont wanna put as much effort into shows where the profits are significantly lower because of the royalties. if disney never started that streaing service, the royalties wouldve remained relatively low and netflix wouldve kept them all.
@@koek1122 I don't disagree with that analysis! I actually like the Netflix corner of the MCU more than I like the movies (I Still Like Both), I even think Netflix had the best villains in the entire MCU, even Iron Fist has good villains (Like Danny's Brother), Sure Luke Cage killed off Cotton Mouth quick (Who Was A Great Character), but still had Mariah & Shades, & later introduced Bushmaster, Jessica Jones had Killgrave, Punisher had Jigsaw/Billy, & Daredevil had Kingpin & Bullseye. The Netflix MCU villains a majority of the time ranged from good to perfect.
These shows had great stories, great characters, great acting, great action, all around great quality. I honestly felt like these shows only kept getting better. Daredevil season 3 was the best season of all three, season 2 of Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Punisher, & definitely Iron Fist I thought we're better than their first seasons.
I'm just saying the claims that these shows were being canceled due to ratings is bullshit! Netflix works on algorithms, when you look through the list of trending shows on Netflix & popular shows on Netflix these shows were always on the top in popularity, or at least top three. Punisher Season 2 currently sits at number one.
The cancellation for these shows is not a conspiracy, you're correct that it is quite obvious the unstable dealings between Netflix & Disney.
If Disney casts anyone other than Jon, I won't watch it. I hate disappointment. He's the best Punisher hands down.
Thomas jane was amazing but yeah jon has taken the comic book character and blended it with reality well.

Bernthal is perfectly cast and he delivers. Out of Iron Fist/Luke Cage/Daredevil/Jessica Jones, The Punisher is IMHO the best marvel show on Netflix.
W/O introducing The Punisher in Marvel's Daredevil series, you wouldn't even have The Punisher as a stand alone series at all...

Liked the way his arch ended. At first I really didnt like him but then I didnt want him to die lol
I think he was a good character all around. I really liked JP. If anyone pulled off the “a match for castle” it was him
hell no. the pilgram went from being my least favorite human being to being my favorite villain. ever.
I went from disliking him to likening him throughout the season.
His beginnings and payoff were both really strong. It's the stuff in the middle that many people felt that it was dragging. For me, I completely understand the complaints towards the slow paced component of some of his story, but I will counter those statements by highlighting how necessary they were in order to have that strong pay off in the end.
I was honestly a little bummed about not getting to see the Lieberman family and how they're doing. Like not even a nod or mention to them in the entire season. I LOVED the new chick, I'll be heart broken if that's the last we see of those two, but I'd also like to see David and/or his family at least one more time. Please keep this show going. I wanna see this show go on for a few more years at least. It really is worth it

john it’s because in season 3 (if it happens) they want to make frank absolute brutal and distant from all people, a pure killer. That’s why he declined Madanis offer at the end, he accepted his fate and wants to be it.

this relationship between Frank and Amy was so powerful because it reminded me so much of what he would have with his own daughter if she wasn't killed and if she was a teenager you know it was like a father protecting his daughter and I love that.
I've never seen this address before my life but to be honest she nailed the character without a doubt and she never even cursed once which was something I totally respected she did an amazing job flat-out she was absolutely brilliant you know and she's so good at this character you know.
and the relationship they had between each other you could tell that they're really good friends are real life you know Jon and giorgia.
I mean he was basically like a father to her it was like he was doing what he couldn't do with his own daughter but he knew that he could do it with her because he could protect her and he did I mean he went through hell and back to protect her without question and you can see it in his face and his emotion.
and the end scene at the bus stop where Frank really doesn't cry a lot I love that scene where you know she's going to read a hug and she's crying and he grabs her too and he cries and it's just so powerful emotional but it makes you feel so good that they finally you know did what they plan on doing.
and then you see Frankie know they are beaten and torn broken destroyed and then when she looks around to see him one more time he's gone and that was beautiful..
she went on to do what she was meant to do be a deep-sea salvage diver and he gave her the opportunity now a lot of questions were asked and where did he get the money at in this truck and everything but I'd say that he got the money from the family that while he killed I mean I would hell.
the only reason why pilgrims survive this whole battle at the end was because when he said that you know please take care of my boys and don't kill them can, and Frank had no idea he was a father and that's why I let him live otherwise he would have been dead.
to be honest I really don't want to see another season because you're not going to top this one yeah you could do it I mean there's ways of doing it I mean they already figured out how but I feel that it should end the way it should have just ended that way you know Frank Castle finally embraced who he really is and he's no longer call Frank Castle anymore he is now The punisher and that final scene when he goes into the warehouse you know saying I'll dance with you guns blazing with his shirt showing his punisher logo in his leather jacket that's straight out of a comic book and that's the way it should have ended with his scream is just awesome.
So I'm very happy the way it ended its hide everything together I mean Billy died which was a shock because I didn't think he was going to die the way you did and I was really glad they did it that way because you're not going to top the last fight those two had it's impossible.
The Ending of the last episode in season 2 was Awesome

Me too. I've loved Alexa Davalos (Beth), since "The Chronicles of Riddick". She's friggin beautiful! Seemed like they had chemistry. He didn't even check on her or her son. WTF? Great season, but I think they dropped the ball on that. It seems completely out of character for him to just abandon them without making sure they were ok.
Probably how season 3 will start 🤞 if we ever do get a season 3

Actually, the first season was full Punisher. On this one, after his succesfull revenge, we got full Frank Castle on screen, and that's why the first half feels a little slow. And in the very end of this season, in the last sequence he becomes one with The Punisher, not doing it for revenge his family, or needing an excuse like a random girl in a bar being attacked. He just accepted himself.

I think the character's name was John Pilgrim. I thought the character was very interesting and well played by the actor too. I like how he's so conflicted about who he is. He's obviously gone through some sort of religious awakening but his demons from his past still haunt him.

Jon is the greatest actor they could’ve possibly chosen for this role and Giorgia (love the way her name is spelled btw) was a really nice addition to the cast.. although I’m now sad because the way season 2 ended probably means she won’t be back if there’s a 3rd season.

@MyNamesJeff2013 this series got renewed 1 month after Season 1 was released, there are alot of fans who want a season 3.
Iron Lungs Netflix don’t care, daredevil season 3 was out for what a month? People loved it and Netflix canceled it anyways, same with the other shows. Now we are waiting for them to cancel this show and then when Jessica Jones season 3 comes out they’ll cancel that too.
@ImSlater Daredevil was cancelled cause season 3 was flawed, Punisher wasn't part of their original plan: so why should Punisher get cancelled just because people think they can predict a series' future after 3 others were cancelled?

i cried a little during the last scene scene...after frank loses his entire family, amy is like his daughter. loved it. Frank being loveless, a murder, etc, took him so long to finally be able to let our some love.

Why there was never any josh Stewart (Pilgrim) interview during the Season 2 promotions? He was the saving grace probably the best character of the series perfectly casted.
I love the way he mentions the military and law enforcement, that means a lot to so many of us.

To be honest the season started great with the plot of punisher through coincidence getting involved with The girl , the premise became like a “Leon the professional “ and was good but Then the season got lost in translation ! They could have made 6,7 episodes instead of 13 , that might have made more impact , they did some unnecessary dragging trying to extend the story ! The story arcs Didnt go far ,I felt they didn’t use punisher story and character development in a much good way ! Cliched at times and made it less impactful ! Billy Russo had more of a story arc and development instead ! This season could have been much better !!!
