    Your videos have helped me out so much! I've always wanted to join the military band, being that I was a music geek and tried to join when I was 18. My dad is a Vietnam vet and has/ had ptsd. He didn't like that I wanted to serve not one bit... My parents Instead gave me a truck, helped me through college and also was blessed with a child when I was 19.
    A decade later, I realized after teaching music education for 8 years, I want to try something different. I realized that I was a terrible teenager and make a TON of mistakes with the law.. I also have -9 vision...Luckily my recruiter said he believes in me and thinks I could potentially get in. Whatever happens at least I tried, in words of zefram Cochrane" don't try to be a great man, just be a man and let history makes its own judgments".

    • @Jodywithawhy
      @Jodywithawhy  3 года назад +1

      Anything’s possible, but honestly the only way to truly know is to take your medical documents to a recruiter. Every document available pertaining to the endometriosis and surgery will need to be collected. Then your recruiter will submit it up to MEPS for their approval. Hey Jody, if I’m aiming towards special forces (and let’s say I’m qualified), as far as jobs goes how soon does it normally take to get those spots filled?

    • @Jodywithawhy
      @Jodywithawhy  3 года назад +1

      It depends on how strong your PAST scores are. If you’re barely passing the PAST, they probably won’t book you a job until you’re crushing it. So it depends on you and how much work you put in.

I was just curious if I have enough proof that I haven’t taken meds in 7 years , am i still going to have to go on with the whole waiver process with the surgeon general etc. or will they just let me go to meps with all that info with no wait ? Thanks!

    I have a question. My dream job is to one day become a fighter pilot, i've been working towards my dream to a 4.6 gpa. However I have a problem, i've been told that i'll be 75-76 inches and thats above the height requirement for a fighter pilot. I know I have to make a waiver so how does a waiver work?

    • @Jodywithawhy
      @Jodywithawhy  2 года назад +1

      I honestly don’t know how that waiver works, but the height waivers are pretty common. So I don’t think there will be an issue, but I could be wrong.
