This is an excellent transition from big band swing. Great note placement, excellent time management. A lot of drummers couldn't make the transition from one genre to another this quickly, but you're doing great work at diversifying yourself. Keep it up.
Suicidal Tendencies has collaborated with quite a few big-name drummers in the past 30 years, so it shouldn't surprise me that Greyson is there behind the kit....yet it does! It'd be sick to see him play these songs using traditional grip though 😆

I agree completely. I can appreciate the talent it takes, but man I’ve never gotten into this genre, it’s just noise as you say. As a drummer, to me it gets boring.
I'm glad you're open to different music (because we all should be) but I think you deserve better than this. You should try to get an original band of your own going. You have too much talent to be a fill-in drummer of a band that was big in the 80s. True success is being your own unique person and artist. Have fun with this but get something true to your heart going kid!
