Yeah dude, and considering how before in the beginning, Abby didn’t seem to have any friends. (Based on the fact that she was always drawing by herself) I bet it was hard for her to accept that her newfound “Friends” were in a way dangerous
They want to turn Abby into an animatronic like them with that humanoid girl looking doll, Ella. To make her feel as part of the group and so she won't be alone anymore.
Not on Mike's watch, no way will he allow them take her away like that and watch her become a giant walking doll.

I love that at the start, you can see that Bonnie actually notices Mike sneaking in and tries to warn Freddy, but they can only communicate so much using these stiff bodies of theirs, so Freddy doesn’t really get the memo until the last second. And even then you see he gets a little pissed at Bonnie, as if he’s saying “Dude what are you freaking out about I didn’t see anything”
If Freddy could just turn around at Mike then why didn't Bonnie do the same thing

The Part Where Foxy Hunts Abby In The Arcade Section Of The Pizzeria Was Awesome
I love that when Mike bursts into the room, Chica is like "HTF did you get in here?!" and then Mike tells Chica to let Abby go, and Chica just has this unimpressed and unintimidated expression as she menacingly walks towards him, and then has what can only be described as a "Oh, nevermind" look after getting electrocuted.

The best thing about this movie is that a lot of things were unexpected. Of course we were expecting Afton to show up, but not much after that. I wasn’t expecting Chica to guide Abby backstage and then try to put her in the empty suit. That’s the fun of movies, not knowing what’s going to happen. That was the case with a lot of horror movies in 2023. Evil Dead Rise, Knock At The Cabin, Infinity Pool, The Exorcist Believer: All of them had surprises and unexpected moments that weren’t shown in the marketing department. Of course there are other examples of unexpected moments before 2023, I’m just saying 2023 had a lot of great examples, and this was one of the best.

So the first nice touch is that in most movies, Mike would have sat out the 3rd act due to his injuries but here he couldn't. Vanessa fixed him up the best she could (She even that some of his injuries were going to need to be tended to by a doctor.) and gave him equipment to help him rescue his sister and even her cop car keys so he could get there faster. It was noted by a few that Bonnie saw him but could not warn Freddy in time. One could say Chico was so wimpy that she couldn't handle Abby, but the more realistic interpretation is that she didn't want to hurt her. Mike's apology was cool as he was acknowledging that he was so consumed and guilt-ridden over his brother's abduction and desire to undo it that he lost sight of the family he still could protect and save. Abby was recipient to his apology and promise for improvement but said they should go while Chico was down and out.
Really? Because it sounded to me like Abby was just the most angry at Mike having Aunt Jane look after her instead of taking her to her animatronic friends, and she shows how much she cares for Mike by putting him in all her drawings, even if he can be neglectful of her. And according to theories on social media, Abby has known the Missing Children long before Mike worked at Freddy's, boy Cassidy (Golden Freddy) wasn't under Afton's control because he was the most aware, while the other souls were losing their identity (even their faces), and Abby only got angry at Mike because she thought he was having Aunt Jane adopt her, not to just babysit her, but both situations were still terrible, but she still cares for Mike, even when she's angry at him, this part, also according to social media.
That's how I see the movie, and the lore inside it.
@@cometteinpsycholand I said nothing about any of that and they're theories. Nothing confirmed and even then, there's no way she could have known about the missing children. Abby was receiving to his apology and promise to improve was all I said.

Also Vanessa saves Abby, and this is yet another one of my gripes about this movie. Why and how is Vanessa in the building? Are you telling me that the animatronics just... walked in through the front door or that she came in the same way Mike did? Okay sure, would've liked to see that, but whatever, you could've at the very least shown SOMETHING!
Also also the title is wrong, the cupcake animatronic is listed as just Cupcake in the credits. So the title should say "Cupcake" instead of "Mr. Cupcake."
