I mean, this channel has pretty much always been for teens and preteens.
Certain words like “r@pe” can alienate certain audience members.
Yeah, but not without reason. RUclips's policies are much more different than they were back in 2014-16, and SMG4 doesn't want to end up like SuperMarioLogan did, where he didn't follow the rules, and therefore, got a DMCA.
Not to mention that society has become more sensitive to words like "r@pe". So it makes sense why SMG4 doesn't use words like that as much as he used to.
That's RUclips censorship for you.

I really miss this old comedy of SMG4, I’ll always think that his new videos aren’t as fun as the old ones. And this remastered it’s a reminder how good SMG4 was before all the copyright & censorship happened.
I realized this too. It's a pretty good remake animation wise but it's censored to high hell. Feels like something I'd watch on RUclips Kids, and not on SMG4's video /:

This was so bizarre to watch, I I’m lost for words, I mean like it feels like forever ago, years like oh my gosh. This was the first smg4 video I ever watched and it genuinely started to mold the humor I have today so this was magnificent to watch once again

Please make Remastered64 a series SMG4, it's a great way to reintroduce this type of classic humor to the newer fans of the channel without much risk of demonetization. Also, I immensely appreciate the fact you guys stuck to the old designs and Mario recolors instead of using the redesigns and newer models, really adds to the nostalgia factor here.

I couldn't agree less. As someone who grew up with the old SMG4, this feels like them just trying to erase what they see as mistakes. I wouldn't be surprised if more remastered videos popped up soon.

As an old smg4 fan, I love how he tried to remaster a classic but ended up making it worse in every way possible. Basically every form of profanity censored, music altered for copyright (the good stuff sounds like shit now), and models replaced where they never even needed to be. All the original jokes butchered and all the new ones incredibly unfunny. SMG4 has surely proven to us that his humor has gone downhill and that he has lost his identity. so insulting.
This remake is one of the most Trueist to it source I've ever seen and yet it still manages too make it so much better at the same time

That's what I instantly noticed about the remaster. Honestly, you can't blame SMG4 for wanting to keep monetization, but definitely washes the charm down. The internet (or basically the world) has gotten soft and sensitive, and hopefully RUclips will lift more of these guidelines. As the best videos from RUclips are from the past. Not saying that good content is not being made today, but rather would make it more enjoyable and easier for creators.
Please keep on remastering old episodes like this, SMG4. I’m now _very_ hooked to it! 🍿

I'm going to be honest here, as soon as I saw this, I instantly clicked and fell in love with how faithful and retarted it all was. THIS is the kind of randomness that the SMG4 shows need. I have watched a little bit of the arc stuff back then, but I feel like it missed that random crap that we all loved that made us laugh.
But that being said, I am just an old-time fan, and this is your show. The animation here has drastically improved in the last 9 years ago since the original spaghettiria and I'm all for it. However, with your new shows that are being produced by glitch, and all the interesting characters you have such as TADC, Murder Drones, and other shows that I may not be aware of. It might be beneficial to increase that randomness and retarted crap we all love. Kids these days do love this kind of stuff and who knows how it will go.
BUT, I am do look forward to more REMASTERED64 content, such as "Who let the chomp out" and "Return to Freddy's Spaghetteria".
