    My book shows your deflector (baffle plate) between the stand and the alt support is upside down. :-( under the alt stand. Just saying. Your results may differ.
    Always nice to add some bling along the way.

    • @VWJawbreaker
      @VWJawbreaker  Год назад

      That’s really odd…. My reference photos and my book show the deflector plate is installed correctly with the tips of the louvers pointed down.

    I would like to convert to a modern looking alternator and completely get rid of the fan shroud and stock fan and get an external oil cooler I like to look on people's faces when they take a look at the engine and don't realize what exactly it is

    • @VWJawbreaker
      @VWJawbreaker  Год назад

      You still need the fan to cool down the engine…. No fan, the engine will overheat.

    • @blakeerdmann
      @blakeerdmann Год назад +1

      @VWJawbreaker electric fan with temp stitch, and external oil cooler.

    • @VWJawbreaker
      @VWJawbreaker  Год назад +1

      @@blakeerdmann you still need a fan to blow air over the jugs and cylinders or you’ll overhear the engine.
