My book shows your deflector (baffle plate) between the stand and the alt support is upside down. :-( under the alt stand. Just saying. Your results may differ. Always nice to add some bling along the way.

Hey Gary ! What kinda video is this ? You aint got no Cranes , Storks or Herrings in your yard yaking at you . I was messing with my back brakes and at least 50 Cranes flew over in a big V shape yaking like h-ll .
@VWJawbreaker thanks. i saw you Mention the other thing in what need-it. just checking on the belt. b/c that look alot better then anything else i see. and with everything over the top on my willhite 2387cc motor. think a clamp swap in my off season keep up the great work.
I would like to convert to a modern looking alternator and completely get rid of the fan shroud and stock fan and get an external oil cooler I like to look on people's faces when they take a look at the engine and don't realize what exactly it is

That clamp matches your little round tail light clusters Gary!
Haha, didn’t notice that until you pointed it out!
I was going to say the same thing Martin👍🏻
Anything billet is a win :) Sweet Gary!
That’s true!
Thanks for the video Gary see ya next time.
Thank you sir.
Nice looking clamp Gary!
Never thought I’d partake in bling but it’s purdy and it’s been working great.
@VWJawbreaker gotta love that, every vw deserves a little bling:)
Great video, good looking clamp. Looks sharp on your engine.
Thanks 👍
Thanks for video. May be picking one of these up!
Hit him up at bug jam, tell him you saw the video 🤙
Great video Gary. That clamp looks very good.
Thanks 👍

That’s really odd…. My reference photos and my book show the deflector plate is installed correctly with the tips of the louvers pointed down.
Very cool! Love the little details that are finishing it off. Very nice..
Thank you sir.
I really like those little details. It’s great to be able to see your videos again.
Were you not able to see them before?

@@royworks28 I’m so sorry to hear that. If you ever need to talk or vent, please let me know.
@@VWJawbreaker thanks Gary I will
That's some trik kit there. I really like the VACP products. Did you paint your socket wrench and bit black? If so, you are a nut. 😅 🤙
They have some amazing stuff for sure.
No, lol
I have 2 black ratchets I like to use.
Oooo, like the engine size on your fan shroud. 👍
Thanks! Some guy in a fb group was selling them.
Looks great. But I have a question. Where did your carb covers come from? Did I miss an episode that showed them? They look bad-ass!!
I didn’t do a video on the carb covers. Still having camera issues and didn’t think it would be a good video.
Looks cool! Great vid!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great DIY video!
Thank you! 😊
One word, LOCTITE! 👍
Blue lock tight is a good idea.
👍👍 Ordered one a little while ago, defoinetly a nice quality part!
That they are!

Hey man!
I have no clue where they’ve been lately but it sure has been quieter 😂
Wish I could run this
Yeah, your intake would definitely not let it fit.
It's officially a show car now 😅
Far from that!!
what about the belt if a Serpentine
The belt doesn’t matter, just the stand.

You still need the fan to cool down the engine…. No fan, the engine will overheat.
@VWJawbreaker electric fan with temp stitch, and external oil cooler.
@@blakeerdmann you still need a fan to blow air over the jugs and cylinders or you’ll overhear the engine.
