Hello Vic, the best wishes, goodluck and a healthy 2025. Nice seeing your early days about pinball.
Here a litlle New years story on mine first Pinball. As a 12 year young kid I went many times on my bicycle,
up and down OrangeTree street ( Oranjeboomstraat) pronounced in Dutch, as I am from my home town
Harbor City Rotterdam. By then I already looking/visting a specialy cafetaria's for Pinball playing true Ro/Town.
By coincidence (as such exist) I saw at this OrangeTree street a warehouse, rather looking like a normal house
with a double door so a small truck could get in. A small window at that double door got my attention because
(first I thought am I hallucinating ??) you have to consider that Pinball was not so common/ normal in those days as in The United States.
Anyhow by peeking true that small window I was almost blowing out of my socks because there where rather in a chaotic kris/kros position
some EM Pinball Machines with flickering lights at sight. I realy felt blessed and most have starred true that small window for maybe half an hour.
The overside neighbors living on secondfloor looked a bit suspicious at me which to me did not matter in the good sense.
No doorbell on the warehouse or reaction when knocking on the door, however I saw a handwritten telephone number which I stamped
in my brains because I wanted to contact for sure..😊I will continue the story next week about how I bought my Pinball at this place.
Otherwise the story becomes maybe to long. Sincerely Dutch pinball Cornelis , Greets The Netherlands
