when I started playing golf 22 years ago as a 26 handicap, my first instructor said "hands lead, body follows" Very few instructors adhere to that principle and if you watch slow mo videos, it always looks like lower body initiates downswing.I never think lower body but its available to follow hands through shot. I'm now 5 handicap. As RIGHT HAND golfer, fast hands with pushing action at top of swing throws my trail, right hand/ shoulder "over" naturally because that is how the right shoulder works anatomically. A soft ,gentle PULLING or frisbie throwing or dropping motion of left hand at top of swing should allow inside out swing [ if you dont spin lower body] because that is how left hand, shoulder works anatomically .At the end of the day, you have to trust easy, soft downswing with hands in a split second and it's ALL RELATED to timing, tempo and how body-mind feels that day. I spray, push, pull balls all over course on full swings 70% of time because of "trail" side being the strongest part of my body. I have great sand, chip, putt skills. In my mind for 22 years, I see "draw" but never/rarely can hit one. Jim Venetos come closest to teaching draws but he tells everyone to disregard the movement of hands and arms and just to stay still with 70% of your weight on front left foot for right hand golfer. Hey Marcus love your videos! I've had tremendous success following your instructional videos and maybe I'll tell my story some other time. I have a tip that maybe some of your viewers can find useful like I have. I notice you do not wear a glove. I swing right handed and of course wear a left hand glove. I bought a right hand glove and did some of your drills with a glove only on the trail hand instead of the lead hand. This really helps your brain focus on the trail hand passing the lead hand. Yes I said that last sentence to myself in your voice lol. With a glove on the trail hand, I can focus better on the trail palm down on irons and trail palm up with the driver. I think it will help to focus on pushing the ball instead of pulling with the lead hand. I might have got some funny looks with a glove on the wrong hand, but nobody was laughing when I started dropping high, long bombs on the driving range with my driver. Thankful in NC, USA Rick
