I am so happy that I am not the only hardcore Ripley's Believe it or Not fan! I got teased a lot in school for being a fan. But it makes me happy that people still appreciate oddities like this, especially in 2021. I will always love Ripley's!
Hey, that’s my “local” Ripley’s! Even though I only like 40+ minutes away, I’ve never been inside (which is why I’m watching this walkthrough). It’s cool that you’ve visited a local place.
I dont know if you got my email , I wonted to say thanks for talking to my autistic son on the phone Saturday when we where at Cooters place he was so excited thank you You are a GOOD PERSON.for doing that thanks again.
I'm so excited that me and the folks are going to this Ripley's museum this September! Woohoo! I hope it will still be there and opened when we visit. :)
The Shark and giant Carp head inside freaked me out when I was younger visiting Ripleys with my older brother, who was just as freaked out and got sick. I still have the pressed penny. Revisited O.C. 2 weeks ago and it felt amazing to actually enjoy the attraction with a friend. Though the boardwalk is quite chaotic at dark. Be safe!
Ripleys is always interesting. You have your standard exhibits and then there is always something different. I remember looking forward to getting my hands on the newspaper as a kid to read the Ripleys post . Keep Safe❤Keep Well ❤
HEY, JACOB HELLO How's it going yeah the Ripley's Are almost all The Same But different At the same time one thing there All awesome so thanks for letting me tag along with you take care stay safe and see you on the next great Adventure
Been coming down to OC for over 25 years and never made it into Ripley's but will stop in this summer. We went thru the lifesaving museum at South end of boardwalk and that was very interesting.
2:06 that is a Peel P50! A British small car. It has an engine from a moped, and it’s top speed depends on how much you ate for breakfast that morning. Infact Topgear UK did a segment on this car, the original with Jeremy, James and Richard
They all were great but that was one of the best Top Gear episodes ever...when Jeremy was in the car sitting at the office board room meeting... hilarious.
ah, as a local, i’ve always loved coming here. i’d come here once a summer. i still do. and i’ve seen all the changes that it’s been through. there used to be this one segment with all these gruesome injuries that happened to people (where the torture chair is now) that scarred/traumatized me for life. luckily they’ve scaled back now. oh my god. i was crying after i exited that exhibit because it stuck with me that deep. i dunno, i’m just super sensitive 🤷🏻♀️ this place has *definitely* evolved into a tourist trap, with all these gimmicks placed throughout the museum that asks you to pay a small fee. back in the day, there wasn’t *nearly* as many. glad to see the legendary carpetbagger making the rounds in my hometown!!
Mr Bagger have you ever tried one of those Uncle Sam machine Where you shake his hand ? If so is it a streath test ? I saw you justed walked by one but it looked like the hand was missing Your videos make my day .....thank you for what you do Sir !
Ripley's Believe It or Not Museums, sometimes called Ripley's Odditoriums, are the main focal point of Ripley's franchise. There are 33 locations total across North America, and this isn't counting the additional Ripley's attractions such as the aquariums, ghost tours, mirror mazes or other entertainment attractions.
Hey Jacob. Watched a bunch of your earlier vids. You used to sound a little winded, but now you sound great and look a bit trimmer (2:19). Keep up the great work!
@@englishatheart Yes dear, I know. He spoke about this on the day he lost one of his drones in a river. I felt bad for his double whammie of bad luck that day. He's such a sweet sincere guy.
As a pressed penny collector, it hurts me that you always loose them lol. Maybe you should get a pressed penny book to keep in your car and put them in it. Just an idea.
Jacob: "Parked right in front is this... tiny little Smart Car, I guess you'd call it." Me: As someone said, "That's not a car-- that's a lunch box." : )
I want a Ripley’s Aquarium in Ocean City, Maryland as well as one in Atlantic City, New Jersey! I don’t want some Ripley’s Odd-itoriums, I want Ripley’s Aquariums!
Not sure what you'd think but I think a Ripleys Aquarium would do well in Ocean City. The closest real beach aquarium is the the Virginia State Aquarium at Viirginia Beach.
That's a two way mirror you are making faces in. I hope he shows that he realized it people on the other side can see him. 😄 I found that out a few years ago.
My dad could touch his nose with his tongue too and I always thought that was the coolest thing. Also you should get a press penny bag like me. I haven't lost a penny yet.
Jacob do you read the comments? You ask for us to leave them tho I'm wondering how I can ask you a question in private? Do you have an email? Ty Jacob it's rather imperative that I message you regarding an important matter! Ps Awesome content man
Great blog. The way you go through the mirror maze is you put your left hand on the mirror, start walking and never take it off til you get to the end
Ahhh! You were at my “home” Ripley’s. I hope you had fun “downy ocean, hun!” *said with my best Baltimore accent impression. 👍🏼
Oh my gosh the mirror maze was giving me anxiety BUT gotta stick around for The Carpetbagger! Great stuff as usual
That's cool. I live in Maryland and have spent sooo much time at OC. Glad you did a video there. Much love Jake.

My husband and I have only visited one Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum, which was in Hollywood, CA. We had so much fun.
Always interesting to watch you check out another Ripleys my friend. Keep up the good work.

That actually isn't the original Top Gear, but it is the best. I still crush hard on Richard Hammond, even though he's 15 years older than me. 😂
I love your videos! A big fan of the weird and wonderful! :D
What can I say, my day is made when I can go on another adventure with Carpetbagger 🤗
God bless you and stay well
I’ve been to ocmd ripleys so many times and it excites me every time

Oh damm, so... How many "officials" they are? Or its just impossible to count them. Here in mexico for just i know we only have one
It’d be cool if they actually made carpetbagger in Ripleys, under something like “Man who has been to every Ripley’s”
Antigravity slide monster
That's a good idea! I'd go to a Ripley's just to see a CB figure enshrined there.
Carpetbagger I really enjoy you're videos awesome
Jacob - You Rock!!! Stay Safe!
Thanks for sharing CB!
Nice Video - big fan - - take care 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Your ripleys videos are my favourite! time to go international and come to the UK 🇬🇧 ☕️
I don’t know anyone who can do that with their tongue Jacob lol, very good 😂🤣
Thanks for the video. I'm going to O.C. this summer and won't have to spend 25 bucks now.
We haven't been to one yet still. Walked past the one in Gatlinburg many times
Man I just missed ya. We were there over the weekend.
I was just there last week! So fun and interesting
*Looking at those poor animals caught up by their antlers*. Oh deer oh deer oh deer...
Did the penny make it back to the bunker? How bout a mold-a-rama/crushed penny update video?
To ensure that your pressed penny makes it home, put it inside your wallet.
I didn't know Robert Rippley was British! Cool 😊
cool content it would be nice to see some of these places.

Have you been to the Ripley's outside phoenix, can't find the video?
Going here in 2 weeks cant wait
i dont know how people can dislike his videos

How much is it their now??. I HAVEN'T went in there in about 15 years now. It was expensive back in the EARLY 2000s..
It was about $20 when I went last week (July 2021)
@@stephanie3848 ok ok thanks!!

I suspect the chap in the windowed burial vault may be P.T. Barnum.

I'm sure he knows that.
@@englishatheart I commented it as he was making the faces. He realized at the end.
That poor shark bite guy. Looks so unhappy at whatever Ripleys he's at.
I mean, who would look happy having had a chunk bitten out of them? 😂
Do you every go to Pittsburgh pa Kenny wood
That use to be photon. Loved playing that game
I have walked past there thousands of times and never realized the shark moved
Lol,my son and his girlfriend are there today
My dad could touch his nose with his tongue too and I always thought that was the coolest thing. Also you should get a press penny bag like me. I haven't lost a penny yet.
It's been almost 5 years since I went there
Where about is this place located at in Ocean city MD
Did anyone else notice the music inside the mirror maze? It sounds a lot like UB40's "Red Red Wine" but a steel drum, elevator music version.
Check at the end of the bay there with the story of the blue marlin that was caught
Keep your pennies safe.
That Captain America was badass I would love to have it at my house
Wait I'm in Ocean city and I didn't see u come on
Jacob that robot by itself was from short circuit movies
He literally said that. He said it looked like Johnny 5.
How many Ripley's are there?
420
You need to go to wild adventures someday it’s not bad at all
The one you didn't know looks like Johnny 5 from short circuit the movie
He literally mentioned Johnny 5.
If you are still there you got to try Thrasher's fries the best you will ever have
I'm Surprised that Reboth don't have a Ripley's
Ripleys in NY has a bunch of shrunken heads in their display, kinda scary lol
