Thank you, Katrina. I will create a "Short" and show you how to load the brush. Bare with me for a moment, and I'll get it to you! Thank you so much, I'm sure it will help others too!
Following your tutorial. I need more practice, but I am happy with my first attempt and I’ll keep trying. I’ll keep watching for your post and following. Can you show a post or do a little more detail about how you blend between colors you’re such smooth transitions between the black and the orange on the back of his head for example. Having fun drawing with paint!
Hi Margie, yes, certainly. The main key to smoothness is to resist retouching. Watercolor does a lot on its own and we have to trust it and let it dry. It's another great idea for a video, thank you. We are currently on a road trip, you could say "bush trip", you know, kangaroos and little reception.... so I aim to do some shorter videos while we're away. Just keep practising and enjoying, and I appreciate your comments. They help me too! 😊
Hi Margie, just letting you know I have filmed the answer to your question about blending the colours on the sparrow. It will still take me a day or two to finish editing, but I will send you the link, as soon as it is done. Watercolours take a lot of practice, and I've tried to make the instructions as clear as possible, so I'm really looking forward to any feedback you might give me, after seeing it. Have a great day, and I'll be in touch soon, Anica x
Hi Margie, I have finally put the video together. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/pqAIYIySuo4/видео.html I really hope it gives you the information you were looking for. In saying that it does take a bit of practice, so don't get discouraged, if you don't get the result you want straight away. It is so rewarding when something turns out the way you like. Happy painting, and please let me know, how you found it. Kindest regards, Anica x
Hi. I just found your website and have subscribed. I love the few videos you have of it. I just hope you keep posting. Specially how to draw birds birds with your brush. Anything will do. I just like your tutorials on how you going to detail about why and what you’re doing.
Hi Margie, I really really appreciate your comment and that you'd like to see more! I started my channel in 2013, wirh nothing to show for it, but have now made a commitment to it. Your encouragement is really special to me. I'm learning how to make better videos. If you are interested in any particular birds or anything for that matter, let me know, and hopefully I be able to deliver. Thanks so much for making my day! Anica x
@ can you demonstrate a cardinal or Blue Heron drawing and how you would paint it with watercolor? But really I’ll be interested to see anything you draw. Especially , colorful birds. Thanks.
@margiebowser1397 thank you, Margie. Yes, I'll have to do some research as I've never seen a Cardinal in real life only photos, and same goes for the Blue Heron. I will definitely add them to the list! 😊
Love this! Can you please show how you load the paint on the brush?!
