    Colonna sonora perfetta per le prime pagine del romanzo “Auto da fé” di Elias Canetti. Ci troviamo con il protagonista su una strada deserta di Vienna, è mattino presto, i negozi sono chiusi … e il protagonista può fermarsi davanti le librerie per passare in rassegna tutti i libri che lui, dall’alto della sua scienza, giudica spazzatura…
    Gli occhi seguono quest’uomo , alto più del normale… ma le orecchie seguono anche i temi dell’organo e del violino, in un susseguirsi di dolci e interessanti pezzi….in perfetta sintonia con il tono del racconto! ❤🧚‍♀️🎶🎵

    These postings are often very educational. Yes, we may have heard of Buonamente and Frescobaldi. Certainly Monteverdi. But maybe few or none of the others represented here, unless we are serious musicologists. To hear these very early Renaissance pieces from which sprang the enormous and varied output of the Baroque period, is truly educational and inspiring.

    The Basillica della Salute is on the right and the San Marco Campanile is visible on the left. It's been 36 years since I've been there. Lovely music. That organ sounds old. Nice to hear music by these composers. This one I might purchase for my collection. Well done.
