Hello Hello from Canada. I love denim always have I wear dark denim in the winter and come nice weather I wear light coloured denim pants and skirts in the summer. For summer I have white denim skirts and I have white denim jackets too. You’re right I don’t think denim will ever go out of style. Thank you for all you do.

I think both the trousers, shoes, T shirt look lovely and the last dress. With the sleeves on the last dress being elastic you could put them above the elbows i assume if you wanted to. Perfect length too.

I live in those jersey trousers, with m and s turtle neck tops in different colours..and they can be smartened up with a pretty blouse...went for a coffee a while ago and two men said how great i looked...and i wear them all the time apart from a dress day.

I love that t-shirt. Very stylish . Jacket is quite nice and the first pair of trousers. Skirt would be nice if it was A line , but the slit is awful. Second dress is nice .
I often think that when clothes are badly packed, they have been out and returned. Maybe someone had an accident with their dog !

Surely it's against trading standards to not tell you first there is no refunds and secondly why is there no refund. ?
I can understand if you ha s only 24 hour window of even a small admin fee but to what is in effect steal you money is outrageous !!!

I’ve got those trousers/ joggers. First saw them recommended by another RUclipsr - Melissa murrell. I tried the 14 (I’m a 12-14). I looked very bulky so left them. Later I found a size 12 in the sale for £13 so decided to risk it and I loved them. Yes I wear them nearly every day . I bought a black pair too. I think sizing down helped to pull everything in, whereas the larger size - too much gathered fabric and looked too bulky.😂

Hi Helen, loved your rant - it was so justifiable as it is criminal to not refund a cancellation after a short space of time, especially the price you paid. Trust that you will be fully reimbursed as you must have made this ferry crossing hundreds of times. Keep us informed as to the outcome. Don’t know how M&S will explain the “dog poo” smell of the denim dress 😂😂. They will have to recall them as it can’t just be the one you tried on surely.🤔🏴xx

Hi Helen, I love denim skirts and dresses but this season it’s all too stiff and bulky ( ok for heavy weight jeans) imo.. both the trousers looked good on you. Glad you sorted the ferry refund 😊. I never wear a watch, got rid when I retired 😅. Thank you 😊

Like the last dress, but I'm so over all the ruffles, tiers, puffed sleeves. Love the first pair of trousers, but agree about the quilted jacket - looks a little mumsy to me. Happy Easter!

I love the trousers/joggers on you. I think the quilted effect on the shacket makes it look like an older jacket on you. I do understand what you mean in that it looks like a jacket from some time ago. I find the denim dresses look too stiff. The skirt slit is too high for me. Gosh im picky tonight lol. Sorry. I love that shacket. I would wear that as it’s better than a normal jacket and it’s lined. I love those jersey joggers too. I may invest in some !!! . I don’t like that denim dress personally and especially if it smells. Denim dresses are supposed to be a light fabric and not to be used for a dress imo.No wasn’t keen on that on you. I have that denim dress you got on and it’s very comfortable. Happy Easter

Love the pants,and T shirt,the problem with the Shacket is the quilting, I had one just like in the 1980’s,I don’t like skirts with those sort of slits,and it’s no to the dresses,you have so many lovely dresses,and I think only tailored dresses look good in denim.I saw someone’s try on with a really nice dress,might have been US store Walmart,or Target,.

Don't be too sure some of these strong smells will go in the wash. I bought black denims from Tu a couple of years ago and they honked! Even after washing. To be fair my local Sainsbury gave me a no quibble refund. I also had same with a pair of M&Co jeans. I did a bit of research and read 'smelly fabric' it is more common with heavy weight clothing & strong dyes. Some sites said the smell is formaldehyde and usually on items made in Far East, as it is designed to preserve and protect fabric stored over a long sea voyage in a container!

I love denim on other people but I find it too inflexible and scratchy against my rather problematic skin. I always go for denim look fabrics which are softer. The denim jersey trousers look perfect but as you said I would never want to wear anything else!

Hi Helen loved the first outfit trousers looked fab. Not very keen on that skirt though, too long in my opinion, not seen anyone look good in a denim skirt that long, again only my opinion. Fancy having a denim smelling of dog poo, oh Helen, you say it just like it is😊 that’s why we all love your videos.
Hope you get a result about your fare on the ferry, that surely can’t be legal , not even 20 minutes and won’t refund, that is diabolical, you go girl and make a big fuss it can’t be right..

The pooey dress would have to go back. If I smell something I don't like I could never warm to it. The first denim dress was the wrong length and unflattering for you. Interesting to hear about the hard to open buttons on another garment. Hubby bought a lovely pair of trousers from an upmarket online company and we couldn't even get the waist button undone for him to try them on! They went back. You give the ferry people what for Helen. 😅 I'm considered, I think, to be pretty mild mannered but I will get on the phone if I come up against something like that. Too little information about their cancellation procedure. Hope you're having a lovely Easter Helen. We're just back from a lovely 2 day stay at a gorgeous hotel in Cultra overlooking Belfast Lough. We were celebrating our Emerald wedding anniversary (where do the years go!) Lovely gift from the family. Of course I ate all put in front of me so no Easter eggs for me! 😊

Good for you getting a refund Helen, I really loved the joggers I'll be ordering them and I like the top as well, I bought joggers for the first time in December and honestly you do live in them helen if you are at home, I still put my jewellery on so I still look like I've made an effort, 😊

The denim dresses look lovely at the top, and the beautiful blue really suits you, but when it comes to the skirt part, the overall look doesn’t seem to do justice to the top detail 😢xx

I have sympathy re Isle of Wight ferries. Both my children worked on the IOW for a few years and it cost a fortune for us all to meet up. I really like the two jeans-type trousers but not keen on the dresses.

Trousers are great, dresses not so much! I have never liked denim skirts. I think they don’t hang right or something. Maybe,as I am only 5ft 2 inches ,that is the reason. They tend to drown you. I think the ferry company should definitely give your money back. It is completely out of order and ,hopefully, they will have met their match with you.

The lighter colour denim suits you best. However, I didn't like any of the dresses on you. To be honest they looked dreadful.. Both of the trousers looked really good and very slimming.
