The @Shure #MV7 Podcast Microphone Quick Review after 5 Months of Use
The Shure MV7 Podcast Mic is a great versatile mic for podcasting, recording RUclips videos, Live streaming, or even just to level up your Zoom meeting audio quality!
I love that it has both USB and XLR connections. This means that you can plug it directly into your computer over USB and use the Shure Motiv app to give you some control over sound quality. Then if you are ready to add an external interface into the mix, then you have that option too, with the XLR connection. That was my, plan, but to be honest I've been loving the minimal approach of using just USB and I find the sound is great when combined with the Motiv app.
