In this video, Dr. Zelken attempts (we said ATTEMPTS) to clarify the ubiquitous but ambiguous anatomical descriptions of the buccal space by slapping on an ambitious paint job to his dear friend, Scully. His crude anatomic model depicts a triangle of weakness that may shed light on why some people experience buccal bulge deformity after surgery or naturally. This triangular zone of weakness is not described in any literature and should be considered in surgical candidates seeking better clarification and by surgeons evaluating their own surgical outcomes.

surely its possible but this would assume the buccal fat pad prolapses out of its space, then overlies the masseter.
