Omg I don't see enough tutorials with Krystyna's books. I love them they're so beautiful and paper is perfection. Thank you for this. Sometimes just seeing someone else working on an image gives me the inspiration I need to see it finished for myself. Beautiful tutorial!!!
I accidentally hit dislike on accident so I hit like right after I hope that doesn’t affect your video negatively because I really enjoyed it, and can’t wait to try it.
Thank you so much for this tutorial on how to color red hair @KatKolors! I am looking forward to coloring red hair. I just got a full set of Faber-Castell Polychromos for Christmas and I am excited to use them. I was told that the more colored pencils used to color hair, the more realistic the hair will look. I hope that the hair on my coloring page turns out as good as yours looks.I really enjoyed watching your process. Can you tell me where you got your pencil sharpener from? Thank you again for this wonderful tutorial! Happy New Year to you!!! 😃
Well I hope you enjoy using them! The Polychromos take some getting used to, but they are gorgeous pencils for layering. Definitely try to add as many believable tones as possible to hair, but it's a balance - too many colours can result in them becoming 'muddy'. Two highlights, three mid-tones, and two dark tones are always a good place to start. As for the sharpener that's the Faber-Castell Trio sharpener, which you can find on Amazon and most good art stores. It's perfect for Polys!
@@katkolors786 yes, I am enjoying them immensely. I absolutely agree about having balance with using colored pencils and coloring hair with them. Thank you for letting me know about the sharpener! I will look on Amazon. 🙂
@@katkolors786 this is just a thought....Would you consider doing a tutorial on how to color light brown hair with Polychromos? I don't see many tutorials on doing this hair color, especially with FC Polychromos.
@@ChildofGod68 I am hoping to do more tutorials, but I must admit I have not had the time for colouring/art since beginning university. I do have a colour combo for light brown/caramel hair, but I highly recommend checking out Art by Karen Valentine on here - she's got a ton of hair colours and often works in Polychromos
Kat!!!💖💖 This hair color combo is gorgeous, along with the skin, eyes and flowers this picture is absolutely stunning! Thank you so much!
Thank you Keni! 💜💜
