What triggers me about this game:
-I never got 120 stars. Only like 115 or so. :(
-Motion Controls. At least there isn't a Mission which is almost impossible like the Roller Coaster Galaxy's Purple Coin Mission in SMG2.
-All "Galaxies" are just random Collections of planets. That doesn't make it a real Galaxy.
-And how. HOW is it possible for a planet to be not sucked in a nearby black hole? That doesn't make - Oh wait, it's a _Mario game_ . Makes sense
-I wish there was this flying red star power-up in _every_ galaxy. It would be epic.
-Almost every planet has the same gravity (I'm not sure, I haven't played this game in like a year). Gravity is not the same everywhere in the universe! Or is this a parallel universe where physics are different than in our universe?
-How is Mario being able to breathe or not poop out all his gases inside his Body without a suit in space, but he isn't able to breathe underwater? Unlike, like, all the (New) Super Mario Bros. games? And yes, being in space without a suit poops out all gases inside your Body and other kinda disgusting stuff happens. So, don't go out in space without a suit.
-When you lose a try in a comet Mission, you _have_ to manually choose whether you want to continue or leave. Why is this menu a Thing?
-Speaking of comets, the Alarm noise scared me as a child.
-The Fire Dino Piranha fight. At least the comet of the galaxy doesn't involve this guy.
-Just the Snow Cap Galaxy.
-Just the Sling Pod Galaxy.
-Just the Dreadnought Galaxy's secret star. And the purple coin Mission.
-Just Melty Molten Galaxy's Comet Mission.
-Just the Gusty Garden's Purple Coin Mission.
-Bubble Blast Galaxy is _way_ too complicated.
-Everyone thinks Rolling Gizmo was hard. I found it easy. :P
-Defeating Kamella with one life is just hard. Bouldergeist was easier at least

star bits are what they sound like, super tiny pieces of stars that are edible, just because they taste like honey doesn't mean they are honey, and even if they are hardened honey they wouldn't hold their shape in lava.
I can understand why we have a time limit for the Fire Flower...
Because in SMG it would be more OP to use it than in the other games, where you have it all time, but you can get easier a hit.
In SMG you would feel like a god because if you are good enough, you won't loose it.

Still my favorite game of all time. Took me a while to get around to playing through it but I had an ear to ear smile the entire way through the main story.

The star bits come from the Wiimote. Isn't that obvious? Nintendo made it look like an infrared camera that detects light from the "sensor" bar, but that was just so Bowser doesn't try to steal it. That's actually a star bit gun, and everything is handled by motion controls, just like on the Switch.
Luigi head is unlocked after completing the game 100% as Mario.

Here's one that came to mind recently how it triggers me: The Purple Coin Comets are just the 100 coin stars under a different name. And they're either way too easy or way too much of a grind, especially the autoscrolling ones

My favorite game ever.
The0range0wl ok so I like galaxy, but some issues drive me from like the game even more. First of is the level design, like dah every game should nail it right, but some of the galaxies are such a drag. I do like the gravity stuff it is fairly cool but it doesn't make out for leniar level design. I also don't like any of the motion controls stages. Lastly there's barely any exploration (only the secret stars you need to pay star bits to access). Didn't liked any of the bosses but they aren't something I'll knock galaxy for.
It's still better than 64 and sunshine for me but not in my top 5, galaxy 2 though is my number 5 as it's the same but bigger and more simple (shallow in the good way). Hope it answers your questions.
