- Solid run, unfortunately this one was offline.
Can still save 20 - 30 seconds overall and skipping the Strandula would save another 10 - 15 seconds or so (but it makes the Null fight even harder).
Might still try for a 36, but the fact that you can randomly get a different warp (not Seesyde) that saves 40 seconds is a bit dumb, so I'm not sure if I want to.

Absolutely crazy how fast the any% speedrun has developed.
Aren't there better enemies's echoes to use against the final boss?
We don't really have access to anything else. Most echoes are pretty out of the way, and the urchins are surprisingly OP. Still, people sometimes get the peahat and different routes get the Darknut which are really helpful, but this route can't get them.
Even getting the Srandtula loses time, ideally you would skip it, but it helps too much in the fight so I didn't want to skip it yet.
@ToadsWoot skipping tula saves like 20 seconds. Its barely worth the difficulty increase for now.
How does the sign/warp thing work? Why did you have to stack up high?
I must've missed it, how'd you beat the swimming part of the boss?

It appears it's actually an autoscroller disguised as a boss fight, you just need to last long enough then do any amount of damage to get to the next phase.

Yea we skip the entire game with suthorn skip. This is still a speedrun, just a very glitched one.
Yeah that’s the point. 99% of speed runs use glitches

@ConnorVide not true. Every game also has various glitchless categories and often these are more popular than the any% unredtricted category.
So you can't use glitches to speedrun? Since when? LOL. That's exactly what a speedrun is! Using glitches to get to the end as quick as possible.
