I asked Metro to do a real-time cab view when the RC opens and actually got a positive response. We'll see if we got an official cab ride or not. Tri-Met and Chicago CTA did it with their systems already. I think Denver RTD and NYC MTA did too.
Wait, I thought LA Metro couldn't run the AnsaldoBreda P2550 light rail vehicles on the A Line (Blue) due to weight too brittle to resist on the bridges within the A Line route. Well I guess that the Blue/A Line redevelopment project did allow extra track strength in anticipation of the Regional Connector. Looks like both lines (A (Blue) and future E (Gold)) after RC opening will run both P2550's and Siemens P2000's along with the Kinkisharyo P3010's.
It’s funny how they said that they can’t be on the blue line as it’s “to heavy for the tracks” and then they just put these on the blue line. They will eventually put these on the expo line from what I heard.
Thought they are overweight and could not be used on the blue line. Are there any P2550 and P2000 trains running on E Expo line lately? Also Gold Line riders be prepared for even more filthy trains and delays once the RC is opened. Although it is common on the Metro system, the blue line is by far the worst.
This might have to do with Regional Connector which in about in a few days will leave passengers on Platform 1 and pick up passengers on Platform 2 in 7th/Metro
That might not happen until after 2028 since the E and K lines are gonna be very popular during the Olympics. The fancy looking trains will stay on those routes
I'm surprised as all the chatter I heard about the fate of the P2550s is that they'll transfer to the E Line only, due to the cars being too heavy for the A Line elevated crossings. I guess we we're wrong. Hopefully some make their way to the E Line.
I know these were heavier than intended, but they seem to run well along a straight path, I can imagine that the ride quality is excellent. I can’t wait to ride them.
If this is the case, I’ll probably check out the Blue line more. Love those high horns
History is being made . Can’t wait to do a cab view . Good video

Can't wait to board these in the future and see what it's like on the p2550 running on the blue line
Well you can do it now since pre-revenue testing is usually all the way until opening day.

A is 2550 2000 and 3010. E is only 3010
@@flattrain5834 Well, I thought the E Line might get all three light rail vehicle types running that line too.
@@alexanderbanos8125 expo line will get P2550s
@@flattrain5834question is it possible we could also see the p2550s on the k line and green line?

They will only be on blue
Don't forget the p2550 has a high chance to make it in the k line and green line. Now that would be history in the making. 😊😊😊
P2550 will only be on the A line
@@flattrain5834 how come??
@@flattrain5834 the freeway bridge can handle it
We have unexpected witnessed one today at Compton Station which resulted of searching this video.
Good catch bro. Thanks for sharing. More videos please. 🙏🙏
Oh, and P2000s have returned to the Gold Line also
Yes I saw a video just yesterday
I haven't seen them on the Blue Line since 2007, when they were being tested for the first time.
They need a route display overhaul and new headlights. Other than that they’re my favorite LRV second to the P865 family.
Can you please make more videos of the Brenda train?
Can you show your bell collection?
Ok ok I’ll get a video of it
I saw one yesterday but it was in a set of 3
Long time no see flat train, nice catches.

Have you spotted a rare p2550 on the E Line even if they usually use P3010s? Also are P3010s more common than P2550s on the A Line?
The p2550 can not go on the e line due to it being heavier than intended
@@rosaalvear5075no that was for the blue line but they upgraded the tracks?
