I got a meat grinder for Christmas,ĺ am jotting down sausage seasoning recipes and will mix up some and see which we like best,we dont like it very hot but do like the sage,thanks so much for the recipe,sounds like a winner. Im using a pork loin too,we like it lean.😊
Mix it up a little light on sage, then cook a spoon full for test. "Name brand" pepper & sage is stronger and better tasting to me. Hope you like it! thanks
Simple Ingredients, & it makes a good breakfast sausage to us. Ms. Cindy (my Wife) doesn't like hot pepper, so i make it mild. But I do make mine really lean too. which is the opposite for most southern folks. Thanks!

This is a good basic breakfast sausage! You can Add a little red pepper(cayenne ) for hot! My Wife likes the mild version...Thanks for watching!
