LOL. Give it a break! This was state of the art....22+ years ago! We still have an operating ITI system in our home! I installed it when I worked for ADT back in the late 90's. No longer connected to the central station, but it really makes some racket if it goes into full alarm.

As a blind person, I like the status report. Sure the panel would go into trouble if there was an issue, but it's actually quite cool to have that information.
