There are also Mitch Murder and Dynatron, my two favorites, Powerglove (FC3 spinoff music), and to roughly complete the taste bases, Lazerhawk. Also, there is the Master Spy soundtrack by RAC.

This is music from another planet. The quality is stupendous - there is real, heavy, absorbing emotional content in these sounds. Foreshadowing, darkness, realization, release, peace, exhilaration, eloquently and evocatively spoken in musical terms.
They call Perturbator the new king of 80's synthwave/dark synth, but in my opinion, he'll never be as good as Carpenter Brut. These songs are earth shattering
Imagine you survived an apocalypse and you think you're the only one. You wander through the streets and lands, searching for food, shelter and other survivors. Your hope for the latter fades more and more with every passing day. Then, as another fatal storm approaches, you search for a place to hide and stay until it is safe again. As you are arriving at an abandoned, mostly destroyed village, you suddenly hear a strange noise. It sounds like music, something you haven't heard for a long time. And it's coming from a church, the only building of the village that's still standing. What will you do?
i can think of a monologue going through the music as a camera switches to numerous scenes that invoke despair. _Rise! They are here to free us from our decaying realm! Take it as a salvation! It is salvation!_ *A man is holding a door shut against a group of undead as they break in just as the scene switches* _God himself is calling to us! He wants to set you freeee!_ *Two people fighting to the death on a car, eventually the other falls off into a horde of zombies* _This is your one true calling, what are you waiting for? Then they slowly fade out and have this energetic tone till the rest of the song, I love it. this song is amazing cause it describes so many emotion it starts off with what i call a struggle to survive and then it goes to the arc at 4:01 where it goes to hope and the fight for a beautiful future such an amazing song
This mightve been the most EPIC fight in RUclips Specially wheb you think about how they had so little time to kill 2 people And if they failed, they're *banned permanently*
I’ve alway felt that this song tells such an amazing story and would have an amazing music video, I will now try to explain this nonexistent story through timestamps and sheer force of will: 0:00 - 0:17 : The video starts with a really close up shot of a road, the camera pans backwards slowly so the picture is upside down from the typical image while also rotating little by little and pulling back the zoom. In the far off distance to black shapes can be seen on a road, dust pillowing out from their machines as it seems that both cars are swerving back and forth along the long desert road. The intended effect being to throw off the viewer mildly with such a (mostly) calm scene 0:17 - 0:52 : Immediate cut to one driver slamming his car into the other. The cars were once beautiful muscle cars, images of speed, velocity, and (of course) masculinity. But, now they are beat to shit, metal torn in many places, some of the windows are missing, covered in dirt and dust, and there’s even a few bullet holes in each. This battle has been going on for quite some time and the intent is to make sure the viewer knows that. The drivers themselves also have similar characteristics. It’s clear to see that at one point these 2 men would have been modest and attractive businessmen but now they look like 2 rage driven lunatics who’d fit perfectly in a Mad Max movie. They continue crashing into each other time after time hoping one of them will give. Suddenly one car collides with the bumper of the other causing them to start going into an uncontrollable spin(just bear with me here I’m not an expert on cars) 0:52 - 1:09 : Suddenly all of time stops as we (the camera and the viewer) peer into the drivers mind. The video changes to a white on black animation whee we see 2 people at home having a lovely time 1:09 : (At the *bwooooom* sound) We see a door open, spilling white light into the back void, in the center is a man with a gun but we don’t get to see his face, only an outline of what he roughly looks like. 1:09 - 1:13 : We see the man raise his gun, preparing to shoot, his wife unexpected walk right in front of the gunman 1:13 (At the *bwooooom* sound) He fires. It’s a direct blow to the head. She dies instantaneous, filling the whole screen with seas of red amongst the black and white. 1:13 - 1:25 : The man who’s wife was just murdered is then drowning in a sea of red until he see’s the gunman that killed his wife and he resolved to murder him and take his revenge, no matter the cost. The video pulls back out of the drivers mind, his “past” and motivations now apparent, and you can see his face is no longer scared as it was before but is now filled with rage and determination. He gains control of his car as the music kicks back up 1:25 - 1:43 : Fueled by hatred and his desire for revenge the driver quickly speeds up to his car’s absolute limits and catches up with the other driver 1:43 - 2:00 : The Driver’s look at each other eye to eye, both knowing that it’s all going to end soon, but not before the other dies first. The first driver goes in for a slam but the other one hits the breaks just enough to dodge the oncoming cars attack, this happens multiple times, sometimes they collide, sometimes they don’t. 2:00 - Both drivers swerve to the opposite sides of the road and slam into each other at max speed, the impact of which causes both cars to flip over many times, destroying what was left of either vehicle 2:01 - 2:08 : We again see into the mind of the driver, seeing an exact same scenario but with the main difference being that the other driver is the one who kills this drivers wife. This calls into question who’s right and who’s wrong? Do they even know? Do either of them really remember what they’re fighting for other then revenge? 2:08 The other drivers wife is gunned down 2:08 - 2:17 We zoom out of the drivers mind again and see that both vehicles have crashed and are approximately 30 feet from each other 2:17 - 2:21 Driver one exits his former car beaten but pulls a pipe-like metal piece from his car and readies it as a weapon 2:21 - 2:25 Driver two exits his car and grabs a piece of his car using it as a makeshift metal weapon 2:25 - 2:42 The Drivers, beaten, bloodied, battered, and bruised, stare at each other from their cars and begin a standoff where they start to walks around the circle they’ve made with their cars 2:42 - 3:14 The stand-off becomes increasingly more intense at time passes, both waiting for the other to make the first move 3:14 - 3:30 The second Driver decides he’s had enough and makes a quick strike before backing-up out of reach, he repeated does this nailing the first driver many times 3:30 - 3:46 Seeing that the first driver isn’t fast enough to hit him he starts to make bigger more time consuming strikes dealing more damage to the driver who is helpless and can barely even attempt an attack, his assailant is too fast. He begins laughing as the pathetic sole in-front of him and he goes in for the kill. 3:47 - 3:55 Something within the first driver snaps as he expertly dodges the attack, saving his life from certain doom. The second driver is taken aback by this and is stunned for a moment before regaining his composure. 3:55 - 4:03 The first diver rises from where he laid, weapon in hand, face towards he floor, showing no concern, almost like he’s a completely different person now. The drivers look at each other again, ready to do battle, to end it all right now. 4:03 - 4:36 The Driver’s charge each other and begin swinging their weapons violently around and deflecting each others blows time and time again, neither making any sort of connection with the other. The second driver starts to falter and begins backing up with no other choice, but the first driver hasn’t even broken a sweat and looks to maybe be enjoying this. The first driver starts to get the upper hand and the other driver is noticeably winded and slowing down. He sees the opportunity to finish this once and for all, and he takes it. He knocks the weapon out of the second drivers hand leaving it to fall uselessly to the ground and he positions himself for the final strike 4:36 - 5:10 The first driver takes his weapon and knocks the second drivers head clean off his body. The camera follows the head in slow motion as it goes through the air, showing different images and moments from the drivers life, all of which slowly fade away as he realizes all these memories aren’t actually his and he was so caught up in revenge that he doesn’t even know his own name anymore or what he was even fighting for. But that doesn’t matter any more as the driver walks away from the scene smiling victoriously, parts of the battle replaying in his mind over and over again showing just how far gone he’s become 5:10 - 5:40 He walks down the long long desert road with no end in sight, blood dripping from his weapon. The camera remains stationary as he walks away. Then, the camera slowly pans down and to the side where the second drivers head is laying, it’s expressionless, Hollow, void of anything that made it human. There’s a flash of black and white outline covering the head, it’s eyes slowly open revealing eyes made of pure white, almost glowing. Perhaps the battle will never truly be over. That’s my idea for what a music video for this track would be/the story I hear in this song. Let me know what you thing about it Ps. Sorry about typos, as I’m writing this I’m also reeeeeally tired.
came here thanks to a comment on Gary vs David synth battle video (which is another very cool song). completely grateful to find this! it sounds like a freaking boss theme
It sounds like a climax of some epic series. The protagonist stops for a second and closes his eyes to reminisce every dire situation he has been through, every sacrifice he had made before making one last effort to deal the final blow and vanquish the evil once and for all. We, as spectators, can witness in short span the fast sequence of all of the memories we've made along the way.
There's a core realisation, an all-empowering answer to life. Nobody knows what it is, not even our protagonist, but the epic horns that build up from 4:03 onwards offer a glimpse at it's outline, and this is where our protagonist enters the flow state of true oneness with the universe and makes the final run to defeat his demons. If you listen closely, you can hear an echo of that theme, before it get's drowned out by the rest of life. It was there all along, but cutting through the noise to get to it takes a lifetime.
I feel like the beginning is something out of a situation where the protagonists got caught by the evil cult, and the title refers to the cult leader's order to his acolytes towards them as they start their escape when the drop hits at 0:16
This is SO full of energy and soul. This piece just speaks to me. Are there any similiar music pieces? I listened to all of other works of Brut, but nothing comes close to this

0:00 - 0:17 : The video starts with a really close up shot of a road, the camera pans backwards slowly so the picture is upside down from the typical image while also rotating little by little and pulling back the zoom. In the far off distance to black shapes can be seen on a road, dust pillowing out from their machines as it seems that both cars are swerving back and forth along the long desert road. The intended effect being to throw off the viewer mildly with such a (mostly) calm scene
0:17 - 0:52 : Immediate cut to one driver slamming his car into the other. Suddenly one car collides with the bumper of the other causing them to start going into an uncontrollable spin(just bear with me here I’m not an expert on cars)
0:52 - 1:09 : Suddenly all of time stops as we (the camera and the viewer) peer into the drivers mind. The video changes to a white on black animation whee we see 2 people at home having a lovely time
1:09 : (At the *bwooooom* sound) We see a door open, spilling white light into the back void, in the center is a man with a gun but we don’t get to see his face, only an outline of what he roughly looks like.
1:09 - 1:13 : We see the man raise his gun, preparing to shoot, his wife unexpected walk right in front of the gunman
1:13 (At the *bwooooom* sound) He fires.
He gains control of his car as the music kicks back up
1:25 - 1:43 : Fueled by hatred and his desire for revenge the driver quickly speeds up to his car’s absolute limits and catches up with the other driver
1:43 - 2:00 : The Driver’s look at each other eye to eye, both knowing that it’s all going to end soon, but not before the other dies first. The first driver goes in for a slam but the other one hits the breaks just enough to dodge the oncoming cars attack, this happens multiple times, sometimes they collide, sometimes they don’t.
2:00 - Both drivers swerve to the opposite sides of the road and slam into each other at max speed, the impact of which causes both cars to flip over many times, destroying what was left of either vehicle
2:01 - 2:08 : We again see into the mind of the driver, seeing an exact same scenario but with the main difference being that the other driver is the one who kills this drivers wife. This calls into question who’s right and who’s wrong? Do they even know? Do either of them really remember what they’re fighting for other then revenge?
2:08 The other drivers wife is gunned down
2:08 - 2:17 We zoom out of the drivers mind again and see that both vehicles have crashed and are approximately 30 feet from each other
2:17 - 2:21 Driver one exits his former car beaten but pulls a pipe-like metal piece from his car and readies it as a weapon
2:21 - 2:25 Driver two exits his car and grabs a piece of his car using it as a makeshift metal weapon
2:25 - 2:42 The Drivers, beaten, bloodied, battered, and bruised, stare at each other from their cars and begin a standoff where they start to walks around the circle they’ve made with their cars
2:42 - 3:14 The stand-off becomes increasingly more intense at time passes, both waiting for the other to make the first move
3:14 - 3:30 The second Driver decides he’s had enough and makes a quick strike before backing-up out of reach, he repeated does this nailing the first driver many times
3:30 - 3:46 Seeing that the first driver isn’t fast enough to hit him he starts to make bigger more time consuming strikes dealing more damage to the driver who is helpless and can barely even attempt an attack, his assailant is too fast.
He knocks the weapon out of the second drivers hand leaving it to fall uselessly to the ground and he positions himself for the final strike
4:36 - 5:10 The first driver takes his weapon and knocks the second drivers head clean off his body. The camera follows the head in slow motion as it goes through the air, showing different images and moments from the drivers life, all of which slowly fade away as he realizes all these memories aren’t actually his and he was so caught up in revenge that he doesn’t even know his own name anymore or what he was even fighting for. But that doesn’t matter any more as the driver walks away from the scene smiling victoriously, parts of the battle replaying in his mind over and over again showing just how far gone he’s become
5:10 - 5:40 He walks down the long long desert road with no end in sight, blood dripping from his weapon.
Let me know what you thing about it
Ps. Sorry about typos, as I’m writing this I’m also reeeeeally tired.
Damn man, you are one hell of a story writer

This sounds like the theme of a villain who at 4:00 becomes a hero.

Dude everytime i listen to you guys its like driving a car back to the past, it's so damn good!
After the Samurai Jack trailer I rushed here to listen this masterpiece and imagine all the epic Samurai Jack action we are going to get!

hotline miami rated e for everyone.

Parents, man...
"Pretty much the same as the last game"
I thought it was rated M for Mobsters
I Thought it was rated mmk for masked maniac killers
This is the song that I hear echoed in most of there work. This is the core beat...
came here thanks to a comment on Gary vs David synth battle video (which is another very cool song).
completely grateful to find this!
it sounds like a freaking boss theme
It was there all along, but cutting through the noise to get to it takes a lifetime.
so glad I found this artist
I feel like the beginning is something out of a situation where the protagonists got caught by the evil cult, and the title refers to the cult leader's order to his acolytes towards them as they start their escape when the drop hits at 0:16
Cult of the Lamb
When it's so good it takes you back to a past you never had!!
The ending of the song is like an 80s ship flying away few seconds before the staff roll.
This is SO full of energy and soul. This piece just speaks to me. Are there any similiar music pieces? I listened to all of other works of Brut, but nothing comes close to this
Try Masked Death by Volkor X.
Turbo Killer is just as good as this one in my opinion, and Magic Sword- In the Face of Evil has an ending that is pretty goddamn strong too.
Try perturbator dangerous days. Carpenter brut even did a song with him in the album.
Man this track really takes you back
Back to the past
GOTTA GO BACK
TalDSruler back to the past. SAMURAI JACK
