You might want to draw a picture of broken pencils and sharpened pencils on your pencil containers so that your students will not put them in the wrong places. Purchase heavy duty packing tape to reinforce the spines of your paperback books. Keep throat lozenges next to your desk and have disinfecting wipes and spray ready.
