Hey this was so cute! Just found your channel bc I'm also a teacher and I love making RUclips videos, but during the school year it's hard to make art and videos and keep up with school, so I was looking for teacher yt inspo 😊

Hello to all the members of the beautiful group. I give you a very fun idea to do with the children. Look at the song on RUclips: My London, by Robert Diamond, the version that has images of London, and have the children sing it. They have a very good imagination and they will see themselves walking through the streets of London, they will see the London Eye spin, they will see the River Thames and they will see the soldiers changing the guard. They will also imagine being another tourist in Covent Garden and they will see how the tower where Big Ben is shines. It is a nice walk through London, the great and beautiful city. I hope they do it and then they tell me what they thought of the experience.

Are you serious? What are they learning about? In kindergartner I learned how to read and write and I had fun with painting and music and I dabbled with adding and subtracting, now I get it when people say that that teachers are glorified baby sitters I used to defend the teachers but now I’m not so sure.can anyone of your students actually identify any letters?the order of the letters? The actual letters in them selfs? How about numbers 1-10 at the very least do any of them know that 7 comes before 9 can any of them write what the number 2 or10 looks like? How does Amy of the lessons your “teaching “ them can be literally applied in reality as an adult?seriously? Wake up and learn how to teach the next generation how not to be stupid and actually use the brain that God gifted us. I’m so sorry for being a little bit harsh but come on now no wonder why are economy is going down the ******* you’re supposed to be a teacher so teach something productive.Please 🙏 I beg you.

Kindergarten teacher! I did one day as a kindergarten teacher. Our principal wanted us to swap classes for one day. In the faculty meeting, the principal announced that, and our kindgarten teacher immediately jumped up, before anyone else could make a claim, and said that she wanted my seventh grade class. I am male, large and a bit long in the tooth. She is tiny, just 5ft. She offered that the kindergarten class came with an assistant, so I should not panic, and they got to take naps, she added. I survived. She, on the other hand, was immediately surrounded by my 7th graders, many taller than she. To make matters worse, all my kids knew her. We were in a very small rural school, where all the kids go through all the grades together, and she had had my kids when they were in kindergarten. Basically, one teacher per grade. They were super excited to see their old teacher. She told me later that everyone had a good time, but she could not see over them now. She never said anything about the lesson plans that I left for her, I don't think much got done that day.

October is a hectic month with so many things to accomplish. Yes, it is a good idea to print those lesson plans rather than having so many tabs open on your computer. I’m debating with my husband because He wants me to work in medical field. But in my heart is to work with little kids. I love working with kids particularly kindergarten. But sadly some schools make it so hard for teachers to apply and they don’t even make much. 🥹

Cristina! How are you doing mentally and physically as a teacher? How was transitioning from K to 4th grade? I'm thinking about becoming a teacher, but I've been heavily discouraged by the number of "I quit teaching" videos I've watched, from burnout to disrespect from parents, administrators, and students. I'm already in my 30s, and it's a big life decision to make, but I've been so hyper-focused on the cons that it's scaring me. Thank you for your videos, as they are so refreshing and inspiring to someone who dreams of becoming a teacher! Be well to yourself <3

I have that same black stand! I call it my turn-in bin. We also just adopted Magnetic Reading Curriculum and I like it way better than our one last year. Where do you teach? I teach 4th in Michigan.

I teach 3 year olds and there is this one kid who NEVER stops crying, ALL day long, no matter what I do. Any tips on how to get her to love school and just forget about her mom while she's there?

I'm not sure if you've covered this, but why did you switch from Kindergarten to 4th grade? I'm going to be a first year teacher soon, and would like to know any tips or advice for either grade level!
