These look like a great idea. I keep most of these items in my 15” Milwaukee packout tool tote. It’s sitting on a stool and it rolls around the shop to where I’m working. Pick up the tool, use the tool, put the tool back. Super convenient. As long as you follow the 3 steps. My biggest problem is my bits and drills. They are stored in boxes like yours and I leave them open on a bend and they over time get full of saw dust and screws. Plus I keep closing them and putting them away then finding one more bit somewhere…. Three times… need a better solution for this.

Been looking to build one of these. Best design I've seen so far. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

Ove the half dozen examples I have seen, yours is the most thought out, thabks for sharing. I'm starting with an old wooden ladder, onlyni don't like the wobble at the top joint, will box that in later

i dont like it much. Everything is stuffed there. I would make it bigger or make annother one and attach it to the other side symmetrically. That way you can be more organized and you wont have to wiggle things out or search with pain in eyes. This cart would be cool in very small shops.

Thanks for sharing. Cleaning up the garage and looking for ideas to get my tools out of 5 gal buckets. I’ve seen Adam’s tool caddy but not how to build it. Now I got a decent idea. Very helpful.

2 for 2.... This & the shave horse design are both very well thought out & executed. Gotta give both a go soon.

Nice cart, I'm in the process of building my own cart. The first issue I've ran into is that my wheels are to small as well.

Thank you. Of all the things I have built for my little shop this is still by far the best.

Thanks. I have used it quite a bit and so far I like most of the front and sides for easy access to my most used tools. The gloves, paper towels and clamps take up a lot of room that I could double the amount of tools or other supplies. I am thinking about taking the clamps off and using the back space for screws and additional storage. I have my drill and driver handy on the cart but I still have to go to the screw bins to get screws anyways.

Yes I use it daily and actually return tools to it frequently. I made a wall rack for the clamps though. I had intended to make trays in the back but have not gotten around to that yet. In the meantime the upper storage tray has become a catch all which is not ideal but everything else has been amazing so far. The small wheels have been just fine because I really only move it about 15 feet or use them to spin it around to access the back then return it next to the door when Im done.
