Generally I find the files are small enough not to require compression but I personally create a zip file of both the palette as well as the png with all the colors shown just in case the customer would like to manually import the color selection into a design app other than procreate that doesn’t allow for easy imports of a .palette file
I generally use RGB but you could totally do CMYK palettes and market those to people specifically looking for print ready colors! I generally use 300 DPI for my images as a default for nice clear images but it shouldn’t affect your .palette file, just any images you use for an Etsy listing.
You can use the create palette from photo function within procreate but I personally like doing them manually as it gives you a little more control in fine tuning your colors even if it takes a little longer.
Omg I also just found out you can import a photo directly to your color pallet from your camera roll or files!!!!!
Could you do more videos like this with procreate and passive income please and thank you.
Working on it!
Awesome video I’m not sure why it comes up as a palette when i add a pic?
What’s the sizing for the canvas you use to post on Etsy ! Love this video 😇
2700 x 2025, no clue why I at some point made a procreate canvas setting and labeled it “Etsy” at some point and it’s been my default ever since 😂
You new subscriber 🧚♀️✨. 2 minutes of video because I like you and content . Thank you 🫶
Hello,
What is type of document you save your color pallet to be able to upload and sell on Etsy?
Thank you so much for your video! Question: Does the file need to be compressed or can it be uploaded directly?

Love your video!
What do you list the colour palettes as on Etsy? The category I mean?
Art&collectibles > drawing & illustration > digital is what most of them seem to be categorized in so I went with that!
Does DPI or rbg settings matter for this? I'm not sure what to use for a color palette. Thanks!

@@cassykissack Thank you so much!
i dont understand why anyone would buy a palette
The same reason people buy brush sets rather than creating their own brushes when they need them, it’s easier, faster, and more convenient.
Will this create a file where it can import to procreate for them or only as a picture file for them to have to import the colors manually?
