great job mister TANNER HOLMES you just stamped your ticket to the big time. keep on roll'n !
jeez, there some harsh unnecessary comments here, some are trying to help you and others just seem to have no bearing on anything apart from slander. I suppose some on here have or do race and with that comes a lot of advice and help. I have raced a lot in the UK and on Ovals so I do have an idea of what oval racing is about, been watching your you tube channel for years, there is a pattern to your races Tanner just from say an keen eye viewer like myself - I am sure your team knows so I won't say anymore, you guys are awesome, you yourself are a great guy to watch and listen to. WoO is such a great sport, and IMO probably the best Dirt Racing in the world. If for just a second I could ditch my UK life and go race on the US Ovals, me personally would do the NASCAR Wheelan Modifieds, or what ever they are called, the open wheeled cars that race on the smaller Asphalt Ovals - I am soooooooo jealous - keep it up 18T and ignore the naysayers - Dean
You're a good kid, Tanner! It's quite refreshing to see you do these educational videos without swearing. Best of luck to you and your family in your racing endeavors!
Hell of a week man. We at Knoxville always enjoy having you and look forward to many years down the road!
I don’t think losing three spots immediately at green drop and never getting them back is a good start. Gotta work on going forward at the starts. Keep digging.
Tanner needs a seasoned crew chief. It became evident in the Allen car last year 6 races and good results until changes made changes.
Gotta wonder how he would do. No doubts he can drive.
It’s called being a young up and coming driver they all go through it. You keep doing what you are doing. You are doing just fine it will come. Love your videos!
Tanner, please tell the ACME diecast people that we want your Knoxville National car in 1:18 scale. They are amazing and your Knoxville national car is beautiful and needs to be a diecast. I would pre order that car right now thanks man.
I agree! That is a beautiful sprinter.
2021 The track took rubber with 15 laps to go in the A.
They are doing whatever it takes to prevent that from happening again.
I agree your hot laps looked blistering fast.
Making the B is very respectable. Especially in a backup XXX you don't particularly like.
Hopefully you can hit on something soon on qualifying be a big help to your night
All ways learning curve, you will get there one day.
On restarts be more aggressive up on the wheel once you start doing that I don't think you'll lose as many of spots then
Use the restarts as a tool to gain positions... Not to give them up. Eat your Wheaties son, dang.
Keep pushin', we'll keep rootin'.
It seems like with the winged Sprinters that's it much more difficult to get by other cars than with a non-winged car.
Hey Tanner how old were you when you first got in to the sprint car?
Ur to cautious be more aggressive on the wheel
Go get em tomorrow night
Just think. When you're getting pummeled by mud, just think of what's happening to the fans in the stands.
I still think you need a better engine builder. That’s why we built our own. Camshafts can make a big difference with the right gear in the rear end. The car should jump forward when needed. I remember the first time I watched the outlaws at west capital raceway. I think it was Ferkle and swindle doing circle eights on the track. Nobody could stay with them. Research and development never hurts. Good luck,
👍
Please find some power for a quick start.
I am not any body that could or should tell you what to do but it seems to break you down just a bit every time you race with these guys that have all that seat time with all the money they ever need to build cars. I wish you would join like the Lucas oil thing for a full year just to get some experience and see how you can compete with them guys. If you just keep trying to stay with the high rollers I’m afraid it’s going to break you down
hmmmm, only comment is good move pulling off
WCS TOUR - 'Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda' tour. RACECRAFT.. I watch your whole week of races... The one glaring thing is your starts. Somehow you get sucked backward and lose 2 or 3 places. Then you have to make those up. You have the drive and gift, like most of these guys. You can run with those who normally are upfront. This is not about the track, as everyone else has the same track. It is about making the right decisions on the track given to you. As I watched your KNOXVILLE video, unfortunately, this became a precursor to your West Coast starts. Your starts and restarts. Keep digging it will come.
Your to Slow
Tanner when are you going to learn that all the other drivers are racing on the same track surface. You are a lazy starter. You go backwards. Long way from being a good race car driver. You are the weakest link in your team....
you talk like you are a world class sprint car driver. Sink all your money and work in to one of these 900 hp monster's then go Join a national touring group and go see how easy it is
@@jstrawser- ya, pretty harsh... but Tanner really, really needs to work on starts and especially restarts. He gets in a hole he doesn't have time to recover from. Once the run gets going he's a stud... but the restarts - gotta get that sorted out... Gotta.
anything break? what was the vibration?
what a great experience!!!
