Sold my Chausson Motorhome in May for more than I paid for it (from a dealer) 6 years previously. Have been waiting patiently and hoping for the prices to drop before I buy another one. Still no sign of prices dropping but I have noticed more vans on the market..
I like the new camera , sound and style of the Video. Great news for some not for others. Guessing how the world will be in 12 months is a bit of a lottery at the moment. The desire to own a motor home I suspect is a strong one for many people and will continue to be so.
Why , because for many it represents freedom, a commune with nature , a spiritual uplift and a chance to wander around too the things that interest you. history , buildings, events, and if you are lucky a bit off solace. The means of doing so is where you guys come in. One thing I do know is that by relaying your experiences the means of doing all of the above in a degree of comfort and security is made easier.
Thanks Guys.
I enjoyed this video immensely. Thank you.
Very informative too.
Excellent informative vlog as usual, well done guys!!!
Thank you so much 👍
I bought one last week at a decent price. Collect it next month. So excited! Great video guys. Have subscribed
Awesome! Thank you!👍
I was just washing the BM carpets and I stumbled across your VLOG so just found you for the first time - so being upfront with you we’re those first time buyers (second time around with a period of 30 years gap between the last time owning a MH) looking for a bargain - we’ve both recently retired and had always planned to buy another MH so watching you has confirmed my opinion and has helped convinced my misses that I wasn’t talking tosh…, you guys and I are both of that same opinion so thanks for confirming and at last somebody’s as blinking mad as me…, cheers guys!
Thank you for your comment 👍
Would imagine that when people find the confidence to go abroad again then the market will be full of used motorhomes at lower prices...well I hope so as cant afford a decent one at the moment...😁
100%
Great blog really informative big thanks👍🏻👍🏻
So nice of you Gary 👍
Vlog
Fingers crossed the prices come down. We really need to get our mortorhome in the next few months. Thanks for showing us around.
Me too, hoping that everyone who bought one for the summer sells and the prices bomb...
Yes I am sitting back and waiting for the bubble to burst. When it does I will pounce for sure.
I'm hanging on until next year see what plays out with the economy.
Thanks for the info interesting Jason
Any time!👍
Starting to dip like you say jason. The next couple of months you could save a few quid. The market is saturated at the moment. Lot of people seem to be lowering there prices to make a sale
Love your professionalism Jason, a broken catch on the freezer door, new door, no bodge up, no fingers crossed it will go in noticed. Sheer class. Bought some Greek beer from lidl today with Kev in mind 🍻🍻 cheers lads 🍺🍺🍺
Thank you Julie 👍
Could you do a blog on motorhome finance please and who you use and who dominates the market in finance please
❤ I love you guys your videos always make me happy you have a lot of lovely vans today.I’m very impressed by the amount of care you put into fixing issues with your used vans.
Glad you like them!👍
Look forward to your clips, visited but stock wasn't what we wanted at the time.
Thank's for the visit maybe next time 👍
Fiat are struggling to supply new cabs for new motorhomes. This will help keep prices high for a bit longer imo, maybe this time next year will see the big drop. Always enjoy the videos 👍
Absolutely love your channel getting to see inside of moter homes omg absolutely love 😘 I want nothing more than to own one can only dream but with your channel I get to see what they look like thanks team plus use are fun to watch as well so double bonus 🤣🥰
Thanks so much! 😊👍
Brilliant blog guys 👍
Thank you so much 😀

Great video! Shame with price of diesel and campsites it's all starting to get even more expensive. Didn't use ours that much this year as campsites were rammed and unpleasant. Hopefully next year Europe will open up and campsites will become attractive again. I think the prices will drop next year as some people are charging silly money and the people paying too much will lose out.
Yes I think you are right, The bubble is about to burst for sure . Used car prices are going through the roof though. I bought my car in February this year and have just been offered £3500 more than I paid for it against a new car.
👍
Have to agree with Jason, good motorhomes still selling well! Last year it didn't slow down until November. Will it be the same this year? 🤔
Does that guy break, drop, damage or misfit everything? I'm glad he doesn't look after my motorhome.
Nice vid thanks
No problem Kevin 👍
What make are them trousers mate, been looking for a good pair for a while, sorry about odd question, can't find any I like, cheers, great vids always.
Got them from sports direct hiking trousers 👍
You could make a comedy for tv based on your antics lads.
nice video great those burstners same problem on mine heavy handed fridge door broken £30 bargain do you have a contact for that ta
Very interesting prices and where prices are going please let us know month by month
Will do Karl 👍
Brilliant videos...great vans...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ looking to buy FEB 2022 👍👍 be in touch

In the US there really gone up bc the new models arent buit the same they were rush made plus cheap materials so everybody wants four to 6 years old we got ours for 92 grand 2016 26ft navion diesel with 15 k. Miles it was basically brand new. So we got a good deal. We tried to say will u take 80 cash. Nope. 84 cash nope they didnt budge except a grand. We got a 3 yr full top to bottom warrantee. For 3400 so we love. It. They nicest rv u can get. By far for a sm rv.
the space in the overcab bed in the 640 looks a bit tight or was it just the camera
A very Over crowded market in the UK, no chance for casual parking, which used to be the benefits of a motorhome, you have to go stealth now, so you may as well have a car and caravan combo, its cheaper and much more choice and flexibility.
Ah but with a caravan you can't just pull up anywhere you like, as soon as you put the legs down the Police count that as 'Taking Up Residence" which contravenes several laws. A motorhome / campervan takes up a lot less parking space.
Pssst! You've left Kev to put the new freezer door in properly. Quality Vlog guys
Not yet!😂
Was looking at Peugeot Elddis 4 berth 05 model over here…25 grand. Still crazy prices yet.
Can not see them going down yet
What a great “team” you are, I bet it’s great working there😀x
It really is! Susan 👍
Hi back again I am making my own campervan can I put a battery box next to a bottle of gas in separate compartments thanks guys
Yes you can! Try to keep them apart though
@@TheMotorhomeMan thank you
0:17 top right corner in the clouds god is flipping u off lol
😂
Have you got any nuo rio 2berth (2018) for sale or age give or take on the years.Thank
No not got one in
Hiring is a good way of trying if this is your scene.
just wondering which motorhomes or campers are better quality
are the German built ones better quality than the English built ones ?
I like German vans Sean
German definitely. I have had scores of all makes and was very disappointed with my last "Best British Make" one, with bits falling off and rusty electrical connections underneath, just behind the wheels. I think my new Rapido was made by a Galloise smoking, wine swilling worker who couldn't be bothered to put electrical connections together properly. The dealer couldn't fix the fault, it was up to me to get the electric bed installation manual from the chap in Italy who designed it, and find the faults.
I can tell you all prices are going to crash, I know this for a fact because I've just brought one
🤣
😂
👍
🤣🤣🤣sounds like my luck🤣🤣🤣
Bailey Autograph 740 … 2015 model worth more now then when I bought it 4 years ago
👍
If the new price drops by 10% you can guarantee that trade in prices will drop by at least 20%
I hope so I'm a still trying to buy
👍
Yes, why would you want to crap in a van when you can stay in a hotel?
Try staying in a hotel for six week solid nice bill b@b cost you 4 to 6 k if its half decent
Had your ears lowered then just come back from Lincolnshire motorhome show the vans up for sale were 5 to ten grand up on what they were 3 years ago
That kevs a motorhome comedian
😂
just wait till we can all go abraud next year vans will be flying in
What price airline travel though?
You think normal will happen? Nah!!
Surely once folk can go back abroad again (flying) the prices will definitely "dip" further i.e. come back down to reasonable pricing , they only reason they skyrocketed was supply & demand for lock down. I'll wait another few months bet you they will drop between £5k & £10k
I think they will go back up in Febuary
@@TheMotorhomeMan I hope you are correct for you own livelihood however we will see...
It’s not how much money you keep, but how much money you make, how hard it works for you, and how many generations you keep it for
People like me are scared of investing in commodities because of the rate of unprofessionals probably confused by fluctuations in price
What a cute couple 😊
👍
If 1 day i travel UK can i visit your place?
Anytime Wan 👍
The lads are ok jason loving his taps
with more clean air zones coming vans or going to plummet
I wish I had a crystal ball T 👍
not necessarily most newer ones will be within the smog limits
Good to see someone who knows what he’s talking about. So many charlatans producing YT vids full of BS on this subject
👍
yeah like you lot want the prices to drop.
U gotta have a Proppa shower 🧼 that’s one’s the mutts nuts
👍
Copart?? Really,Lovely Jubbly!! Buy Smart
The Burstner Harmony line td590 is the best 6metre four berth motorhome on the market, it screams quality. I know their not cheap but if you want quality this is it! Lovely jubbly!
I like it too. Looks like there is so much quality there.
Ooo, I want this van!, come on Lotto……
Motorhomes and caravans were way overpriced like sea side properties due to staycations. Once the foreign travel gets back to full tilt it will be an interesting time. Make Hay...
Could be
Take a look at the cost of a base vehicle. Add in the air con, steering wheel controls and so on and there is only about £10,000 left for you to build the inside with. Including 20% VAT remember.
We are going to be in a position to buy a Bessacarr e435 motorhome next year, it's a 2004 model, so will be 20yrs old. It's been in the family for the last 10yrs and has been very well cared for with low mileage. So I have no worries on that side. What is a concern though is how long it will be financially viable to keep and drive a 20+ year old 2.3 diesel motorhome on UK and European roads, in your opinion, do you think the nearer we get to 2030 and beyond that emissions tests for MOTs will become stricter, failing older diesel vehicles? Will their road tax increase to a financially unmanageable amount? Will ULEZ and CAZ price older diesel vehicles off the road? How long will diesel and LPG be available? I would like to still be motorhoming in 20+yrs time, but don't think I'll ever be in the position to buy a euro emissions complaint vehicle.
I think it will get more expensive in the future yes as a way of encouraging people to go for alternatives. But we're still such a long way off that yet. They have already moved the goal of 2030 back to 2035 and whose to say they won't do that again should the infrastructure still not be in place. The best thing you can do is live in the present and enjoy your motorhome now, forget about things that are that far ahead that might not even happen and make the most of today!!😀🙌 Thanks for your comment, hope you get many great trips away in your Bessacarr
Hi John. Xxxxxx
Is finance available? Where are you based?
No we do not do finance Parveen www.caravansandcampersltd.co.uk/
Bubbles always burst, it’s just a matter of when.
You mean a correction Russell
If that Burstner was automatic, I would be biting your hand off to buy it.
Lets hope the biggest recession in 40 years doesn't decimate the industry like the one in the early 80s decimated the caravan industry, we'll see how 2023 onwards folds out but I'm not expecting things to be as good as they have been
Next summer the prices will fall through the floor when people can fly to the sun, they will be giving them away
Your correct,my business is Motorhome and caravan repairs and I’m dreading next year as I think it’s going to be quiet due to people not wanting to stay in England
Yeah but what about all the climate nonsense those in charge keep going on about don't you think they'll start bringing in taxes and levies on carbon emissions to make flying too expensive for the average person? Flying is the largest emitter of C02 for sure.
What does he mean by hassle going out abroad?
With covid
Because of the convid bollox
this is how crazy things are....replace the whole door for a 50p handle...
I know Fred
@@TheMotorhomeMan what would you recommend as a starter motorhome??
The bubble is getting stronger every day.
🤔
Really?? Little n Large
prices go down ?? (self builds!! )explained
🤔
I thought the government were banning wild camping to save the environment
Better not 😠
The French and other European governments have realised that it is beneficial to a town if it provides free or very cheap overnight motorhome parking in Aires. Whereas in the UK lots of camp sites are owned by councillors so they put up height barriers and 'no overnight parking' signs everywhere. Except for Scotland where they appreciate you spending your money there.
Hi I would love to call in your place to look at your vans could you send address cheers mike

Sad
Thank's

👍
Why are mileages so low. Do owners actually go away in them .
Never go very far in the UK
when people get bored and wanna go abroad again the market is going to be flooded with overproced vans with people wanting to get back the inflated price they paid
🤔
"love the German quality of that.. " its a mindset not based on reality just a dogmatic follow the agenda opinion - this is about how how lovely you people are - fair enough and it's not a critiscism of you but the gormless acolyte people that constantly thumbs up everything
🤔
Motorhomes Campers and Caravans all drop in price in autumn when demand drops. In springtime they always go up. Sept Oct Nov
Dec Jan are the best times to buy. Private buying is best with lots of stuff you’ll need included and you can always get an independent inspection. This blog is complete and utter speculation and nonsense.

👍
In Greater Manchester they are bringing out a clean air tax & some 3.5 KG Gross are going to be charged £60 a day for 24 hrs to go into well any town all around Greater Manchester , we only have a small 2.5 & will end up paying £10 for 24 hrs , not good really for motor homes around here
Well I will do what I do with all the other so-called congestion charges and clean air zones. Take my money and spend it somewhere else. What are dealers within the zone meant to do? Pay £60 a day every time they take a motorhome down the road to get diesel or take a customer on a test drive? If I were them I would shift out of town and take my rates money and other spending with me.
Waffle waffle
Get to to point lads.
You're making me hungry Glyn!😂
bet you are fun at parties🤣
Was that deliberately that amateurish? Couldn’t you even be bothered to rehearse ? Dreadful
