The last great president. Not perfect: but no dishonor. A man who retired to build houses for the homeless, a navy vet, a successful businessman..his wife was essential to all of it. Noone achieves so much without help. Thank you Rosalynn, a very dignified woman.

Whether you are democrat or republican, no denying the Carters are from a generation of class act President and First Lady time period. My sympathy to the family. Reagan’s, Bush’s, Clinton's, Obamas, Bidens, have also all been class acts. The only rotten embarrassment has been Trump, he comes nowhere close to their level.

Actually, Carter did want peace, and thought supporting Khomeini would bring peace. He chose wrong. Biden on the other hand IS the one who wants a war, and chooses his support to those that will bring war.
