Love my 55L Armie ML for winging, prone, and parawinging at 67kgs!

Firm believer in this style of wing board. I have a 5’6” x 20 75L Sunova carver. it’s my only wing board and it goes great in most conditions. Not great for freestyle but can still be jumped.

Where do you get the shim to attach the F-one to the foil drive gen 2? I couldn't find it online.

It is a 3D printing file, they aren't selling them yet though that is likely a matter of time. Here is the link for the 3D printing info: www.realwatersports.com/blogs/news/foil-drive-battery-shim-instructions-for-f-one-and-manera

I'm intrigued about your statement that the F-one is the best for beginners. I'm not a beginner, but beginning to improve jibe/footswitch percentage (not yet 50%). I'm interested in one-board quiver, 75 kg, but my conditions vary from needing to schlog back off foil in 0-10kts to 30kt 5 ft swell (Lake Michigan). I am considering 90L f-one, but am most concerned about getting going in big chop. Right now on Naish hover 110L really easy in such conditions. Worried about rolling off the board like its a log. Is the f-one 90L more stable than the super K 80L?

With this type of board, you need to size up in foam, so the right size for you would be the F-one 105L. It will ride a lot smaller than your 110L hover, turn much better, take off from the water much easier, have less windage, etc. You will have massive performance improvement but still have that flat and stable deck you need for your ability level.

would you reconmend any of these ML for someone at the learning to jibe stage? and if so which one. was looking at Armstrong as i use their foils, but heard not good for someone at the learning to jibe stage. thanks for your input and help :)

The reason that people don't recommend them for jibing is because they are narrow for their length. That being said the higher volume ones have plenty of deck space. The Armstrong 100L, F-one 120 and 105 and KT super K 104 work really well for learning to jibe. They come off the water so easily that the you mess up, getting back on foil is no problem.

I ride a 65ML winging in all conditions. At 185Lbs / 84KG, do yo think the 45ML or the 55ML would be best suited for dedicated prone, for fast paddling into waist to chest high weak surf?

I would drop down to the 55L. It is still really sport for prone. The 45L is too skinny up in the nose for your weight so you would bury the nose in take off.
