First off, why would we be interested in looking at this outdated uninteresting house unless you tell us the back story of why it's called the murder house?? You straight up said you werent going to tell us. What kind of bs is that? And that was mild on the wooden table btw. Geez 🙄
If you're not going to explain what happened to the family, change the title of the video and skip over the crime scene. It's not quite clickbait, but it DOES make it look like the main focus of the video, which seems misleading. Just looking at the books and magazines, it LOOKS like they were a well-read, well-traveled family. It makes me wonder all the more what happened to them........
Since there’s no info on the murder that happened, I’m going to speculate that someone got killed over a monopoly fight, and a bat was their weapon of choice 🤷🏼♀️
Kelly thompson best comment! The title alone was a ruse to get people to watch and I was highly disappointed when nothing was further discussed about the crime. Did one really occur at this house? Or did one of the residents come across crime scene tape and decided to take it home with them and then it was assumed a crime occurred there? 🤔
If this really is an “alleged” crime scene, how is it you have free access to roam around the premises yet tell us nothing about the crime/murder you indicated was committed here?! Very deceptive on your part!
So many negative comments if you don't like watching his videos then don't. Momma always taught me if ya don't have nothing to say don't say anything at all. What do ya want him to do just walk around silently and not say anything 🤦 Keep doing what your doing love your videos
I like this house. I would be in heaven with all those cooking magazines and books. How sad to see them left to rot. Even sadder is all the family photos unclaimed and unwanted, strewn on the floor.
Omg YESSSSS especially EVERYTIME we see u in a mirror. Really that's what's made me unsubscribe. I feel like an ass hole even saying that because I feel like it's probably a Canadian thing. I grew up in Michigan we say "guys" a little. maybe for fun just do a count at the end of one of your videos and may be then see lol
The "coffee maker" appears to be a Saeco Vienna. It is from a class of machines known as superautomaticas. Vienna's are entry level, retailing at about $500. The sky is the limit with those machines. My first was a Vienna. Worth every penny, very fun machine. Can't believe someone would just leave it.
Not because he don't say exactly does not mean he does not know. Sitting there for a loong time untouched, unsold, inhabited means something with the autorities.
I love this retro and fully loaded house..It almost looks move im ready. It would not take much to clean up the place and sell it to a growing family..Love All the books especially the library.. you sell this beautiful house well.
Now I've got the habit of saying, 'What's up guy' each time when I'm combing my hair or passing the mirror. It make's me feel good, though. I's a pleasure watching Dave with his happy go lucky attitude describing in details, every nooks and cranny of every abandoned places that he went to. With no sign of boredom, it was sheer thrill watching him doing his business like a professional, that I'm sure he is. Thanks for a great video, Dave of Freaktography.
The "what is up guys" drove me crazy the first couple videos, but I've read some these comments and I must admit I absolutely love the mirror walk bys and what is up guys!! Freaking hilarious and great coverage of these great explorations.
Love the Home . Good tour (BUT) you should show the outside . The Grounds , Pools , Barns , Garden's etc & Look out the Window's Overlooking the Views on the Property . Just Saying 😉
All of the comments are so rude, you are doing something so cool and I like how you narrate everything. If you were not saying anything the video would become boring. Please continue to make videos like this because they really are so interesting!
Thank you for taking so much time to show the books and magazines! I love books and find that many explorers just go past them in an abandoned house. I'm guessing it's because many of the explorers grew up spending more time with computers than books so aren't really familiar with printed material. The books in a house can give a lot of insight into the interests and lives of the people who used to live there.---Also I'm one of those people who cringes at the waste of all those good books. I saw a number of familiar titles in the library. It would be so easy to save the books. I don't understand how these houses and contents are allowed to go to waste like this.
This house seems to be a vacation rental. It was more than likely owned by someone who had multiple homes, and has travelled extensively. This vacationed part of the year, then rented it out. That would explain the older look, and it looks like a vacation rental. Whoever owned it, probably gave it up, or sold it to developers.
The "sexy material" you referred to the wallpaper is called grasscloth. And that purple carpeting just added to the butt ugly decor. It wasnt retro, it was just hideous. And as far as a murder mystery to the house, I'd start with the decorator!!!
I was checking to see if anyone told him that it's grasscloth wallpaper. A very expensive wallpaper that was often painted over, IMO leaving a very cool texture to the walls. Most all of the decorating is horrendous! Even back in the 1980s , it took a lot of time and money to put up this much wallpaper. It's insane that nothing matches! LOL that's probably the biggest crime that has happened here! This looks like people are still in the process of moving out a little bit at a time. It might have multiple owners or heirs ??? It could still be made into a nice house for a family.
Retro 60, 70 and 80 was sometimes hideous. Ot is a real retro house. I am in my sixties so I know. The ones who said it is not retro do not know what they're saying...Just saying.
You know your stuff about burning wood in a fireplace and what size!! . beautiful house !!! OMG ALL those books!!! I'd love to go through those!!! I'd have a field day going through those books!! Damn!!!!
Very nice move in ready accept for a good clean out , Would have been better if some research had gone into why it has been left in this state . And not put on the market to be sold.
this house looks like it is from the 70s, looks like the family took what they wanted, then left every thing. i think it so sad that the photos were left behind. it looks like someone was maybe squating.i hope the family didnt die. a little info would help.
Well, nothing is hideous about the interior finishing materials. Those styles were then the available styles, and pretty much, the themes will look like mix and match. Love the kitchen with its yellow color. And there is a yellow box in the kitchen counter that in the basement, I want to know what is it. I think the story of this house is a partners or a couples that they have separated and have divided the stuffs. It appears that the woman was the prime owner of this property. The woman is out going person, have interest in travel. Also the strange things which give question mark; why there is only one chair in many areas in the house? I thought the partner probably took their share. Yet, I think the owner(s) were hosting a lots of gatherings in which they play games with their guests. And they must have played some game that involve a crime. This video was what I expected, you did good. Don't listen to negative comments. I am now want to see more details and pretty much want to explore all those books and see what I didn't see. And, it appears also the woman was not Interested to have children, but she did have one.
I like that this man did not go through someone's personal photos and papers. I could do without the talking, fyi--I muted you. Maybe soft music while you film. You're easy on the eyes and your voice is nice and manly. This house is in relatively good condition. Needs some updating and TLC👍👍 Thank you for filming this house.
I like watching your videos and other videos of abandoned homes and other types of places. I just don’t understand how there are so many places abandoned, everything that is left behind. It just amazes me how much people walk away from. As I sit and watch these videos think about the families and the kind of lives they lived and all the memories these places must hold for all the owners that have left so much behind. Keep up the good work.
These were upscale people that lived here........70's house - intercoms, paneling, basement bar, wicker. Chairs in the house, purple carpeting, no hardwood floors anywhere, wall paper everywhere ....
I think it was a really nice house considering how dated it is and it's such a shame these houses like this stay empty when another family could be making this their home ; Also nice to see that it hasn't been vandalized ; the yellow light in the kitchen has been pulled down it doesn't hang that low ; and lastly you might want to add for people that watch your videos and don't know this to subscribe to your channel or any other channel is FREE there is no charge to hit the subscribe button love your videos and stay safe
Thanks for taking the time showing the books, those are my favorite things besides old photographs and paintings left behind to look at when I watch explorer videos and of course the architecture and what people liked to collect ;)
Freaking great video!! Thre should be crime scene tape all around the house because the choice of wallpaper and carpet colours are a crime😂 I'm glad you showed the books, I love to read, so what I buy, I read. My mother used to save her Bon Appetite magazines, they never get outdated, of course this was before the internet, now you can just get recipes online a lot cheaper. Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed the video, well done!😊👍👏❤
That house style looks alot older than from the 2000's. Very strange. The furnishings and other things look older than that as well. Hard to believe the last date from that house was 2011.
Hi, great video. I live in Texas, born in PA. Amazing what people leave behind. You have a real talent of catching the ordinary and making it look extraordinary when you edit the video. ☀️😎🍀🎈🇺🇸👏🏻💃💃💃
There doesn't seem to be enough crime scene tape for a supposed murder. I think some one brought it in to make things more interesting. I love the house, but the look of things it will probably rot away. Too bad.
thanks so much for always bringing us the best of the abandoned places. it's great that your team's work together to get us great footage of some awesome houses. love the work all of you do.!!
I like the plant overgrowing on the room window; it brings out the look of the room and its unique..just my personal thought.. This house is different and unique..👍☺
I love the long videos as you talk its so relaxing plus the old stuff takes me back,seriously...you cant do this job going around a massive house in just 12 minuites like some of them are so thats the reason why iv subscribed to you
Another great house. Love the retro 70's charm. As an AVID book reader I would be in heaven, and yes if this was my place every book would have been read at least once. Pig Mania = high school drinking game lol.
I remember seeing this house before but there was no mention of murder. It is a very nice mid century modern house. Glad to see no graffiti and not trashed.
Most of this house looks relatively untouched. If this is a murder house, I would guess whatever happened started in the basement (possibly cold night due to the fireplaces being prepped), I say the basement because of a broken dish (looked like a plate), moved upstairs, possibly to the kitchen and kitchen table (odd stains for simply dinner spills), then back down to the room with the "Police Line Do Not Cross" tape (which I should note, you can buy online), although there was a phone number on there, so I assume cops did leave it. I also noticed that the mattress was gone in the second bedroom, but the bed frame was still there, unusual. However, I didn't notice any evidence of a crime scene cleaning crew being in there, which makes me wonder if this is truly a murder house--or if something violent happened and then the person passed away at the hospital? Or perhaps didn't pass away at all. A little history on the place would be nice. Whoever left this house for the last time, left in a hurry, just grabbed what they wanted and left all the photos, books and memories behind. Interesting place, but honestly, I don't know if I'd consider this a mansion. Thanks for sharing.
It might not be an actual crime scene but it might also be. I live in qc,Canada and at around 2hrs from my house there’s a house that’s abandoned since ~20 years because the owner did a suicide pact, i didn’t went there but some people i know did and there’s still official « sureté du Quebec » police ribbon (can’t find it online) and inside there’s still some blood stains. This place is so creepy.
It's amazing that being empty for 10 years no thieves made off with things, no water damage from frozen pipes, I didn't hear where it was interesting though.

Ok thanks
Michelle Thompson your very very welcome my friend

Bluelilly40 totally agree, the history is part of what makes it amazing!
Agree
I agree to
Absolutely agree.
It's almost click-bait!
Mister Green in the library with a Louisville Slugger
I'd say it was professor plum in the observatory with the candlestick
I’d say the combination of purple carpet and gawdawful ugly wallpaper drove the family insane and they all jumped from an upstairs window.
I’ll accept that as a happening here 🤔
If this really is an “alleged” crime scene, how is it you have free access to roam around the premises yet tell us nothing about the crime/murder you indicated was committed here?! Very deceptive on your part!
*New drinking game:* Take a shot everytime he says "guys" 🍾🍻
Haha so true
I didn't come here to die!!
I would like to not go to the hospital today

So many negative comments if you don't like watching his videos then don't. Momma always taught me if ya don't have nothing to say don't say anything at all.
What do ya want him to do just walk around silently and not say anything 🤦
Keep doing what your doing love your videos
Thats the truth. Some people just cant control themselves. They have a negative life. So they have to let off that negative energy to others.
what about the murder that was here, where is the crime scene you had in the title?????????
This is not a murder house. More like a elderly persons home who passed away. Maybe that why you didn’t tell the “murder story” 🙄
We'll never know!
@@Freaktography then why call it that? Oh yeah, click bait for children
I like this house. I would be in heaven with all those cooking magazines and books. How sad to see them left to rot. Even sadder is all the family photos unclaimed and unwanted, strewn on the floor.
thanks so much for watching my video and leaving me your thoughts!
I'm glad I read the comments first. Now I wont bother watching.
I wish I had lol...read the comments first. I'm out abd won't be back.
I think the kitchen light is the kind that pulls down and pushes up. Very popular in the 1970s.
The way u host the video i thought u were trying to sell the house. Thought the title said murder house? 😴
Ikr way to much talking!!!
I actually love the layout of this home. I wish I had the money to buy and update it. I've especially always wanted a sun room in my home.
Sooooo.where is this “supposed” murder you speak of?
well it's gone now!
@@Freaktography lol good one...
Good videos. My only suggestion would be on utilizing the word "guys" a bit more sparingly.
THANK YOU!
Totally agree!!!!

I personally like when you say it! Makes it more personable
I say the word guys a lot on my channel. You don’t really realize you’re doing it
The "coffee maker" appears to be a Saeco Vienna. It is from a class of machines known as superautomaticas.
Vienna's are entry level, retailing at about $500. The sky is the limit with those machines.
My first was a Vienna. Worth every penny, very fun machine. Can't believe someone would just leave it.
stop saying guys it sounds horriable
Love your videos but your intro is so loud! Rip my ear drums
my computer has a volume button ..yours?
House is nice but you do sound like a realtor.....
hahahaha i don't mean to!!
"Crime Scene " Click bait! !!!
Oh I’ll take all of those books, would love them
It isn't click bait. The crime scene tape indicates something happened in the house.
Not because he don't say exactly does not mean he does not know. Sitting there for a loong time untouched, unsold, inhabited means something with the autorities.
I love the fireplace. I love the entire house. I wouldn't change anything. I love retro
Low yellow light would have been over a breakfast table, appreciate your efforts and energy level when you explore
Last occupants possibly 2011? Does a 9 volt battery in a smoke detector last that long?
I love this retro and fully loaded house..It almost looks move im ready. It would not take much to clean up the place and sell it to a growing family..Love All the books especially the library.. you sell this beautiful house well.

As a decorator… I am loving a lot of the decor. It’s back in, sir😌
Me too!!
Why does he keep saying whats up guys ? Getting annoyed .
I think its funn
Why People are commenting this? It gets fucking annoying 🤷🏻♀️
He does it in every video and many other u tubers do it also as a joke. All in fun.
This was a great find! It's too bad the right person couldn't buy this place and give it some TLC. Thanks!
I know, right?
You know, you can take big logs, combine them with a hatchet, and have little baby logs.
The crime scene tape is used in Toronto Canada, but weirdly on other crime scenes the tape has the tips reversed with the last 4 numbers
Hmm
Those beds are making Dave so sleepy LOL. I kept on expecting you to fall on to a bed & start snoring Dave LOL :P :D
Love the Home .
Good tour (BUT) you should show the outside . The Grounds , Pools , Barns , Garden's etc & Look out the Window's Overlooking the Views on the Property . Just Saying 😉
Thanks for the advice

Is this an exploring video or a fireplace safety PSA?
LOL both
Seriously are you going to name off all the books??!!!!!!!
HAHAH I guess i did!
when you die and have no kids or outlive your family, there"s no one left to clean out your stuff...
thats the truth

It's late fifties, early sixties. Id kill for a house like that....almost totally original.
Grass cloth. Popular in 80s. Retro is not the word. Vintage is. Furniture is original from it's time.
ah ok thanks

It's such a shame this place is going to waste with a bit of an update this would be such a beautiful place
Good day Freaktography. Thanks for sharing your new adventure. God bless 😇 you and keep safe.
lol ever hear of decorative logs
Also... kinda important... not lived in DOES NOT equal abandonded ffs 🙄
The layouts of some of those 1970's homes are very nice.

hahah right?
He sounds like a real estate agent hope he's getting a commission.
My commission is your views of this video :)
This place looks in decent condition, with furniture and other stuff in good condition. This house could be renovated.

I fell asleep halfway through.

Beautiful to be abandoned. Thanks for sharing. I subscribed.
Thanks for the sub!
You’re right..... it’s killing me to not see these books being donated or used...
There doesn't seem to be enough crime scene tape for a supposed murder. I think some one brought it in to make things more interesting. I love the house, but the look of things it will probably rot away. Too bad.

Alicia Hardesty Except he doesn't seem to be particularily concerned if properties are just poorly maintained & not abandonded smh 🙄
Should rename “sexy wallpaper and a shittonne of books”
Good Video this Old Mansion 🏠👍

Another great house. Love the retro 70's charm. As an AVID book reader I would be in heaven, and yes if this was my place every book would have been read at least once. Pig Mania = high school drinking game lol.
13:56 that's a lot of magazines!
Does anyone else think he looks a bit like Bill Murray? 🤗❤
Beautiful mansion few things are still intact but , spooky. Why was it abandoned ? Was a crime involved in that house ?
I always love how u say what is up guys when u go past a mirror
I would actually love to have a house like that
maybe one day you will
I remember seeing this house before but there was no mention of murder. It is a very nice mid century modern house. Glad to see no graffiti and not trashed.
Totally agree with above comment...only watched about 10 min then realized this is not what the title implied it would be. Very annoying.
Just curious, how do you get to go into these homes, when its a BIG NO-NO, do you get a permit or approval from family, county or state? Just curious,
Crickets. . . .
The wine may have been from home made wine. Rymrider had more of the history.
It's amazing that being empty for 10 years no thieves made off with things, no water damage from frozen pipes, I didn't hear where it was interesting though.
for the love of all things holy stop saying whats up guys when u see a mirror
LOLOL It was fun for a while, but I've backed off of it a bit recently
