@Jonathan Diaz I prefer corners on my phone, which is why I prefer the look of the Notes, but in order to make them comfortable, the edge need to be curved. If a phone isn't going to have corners, I'd the edges should be flat. They could also just make it a perfect rectangle, which would require a case to be comfortable, but most individuals don't like to rock cases for some illogical reason.
Though many people hate the installation, i personally love it!! And to see a more updated version with a good jig and automated process is great. I've been using the Domeglass on my Note 8 for the last 3 years now and its served me really well Thanks for this video. It was quite useful :)

I love this screen protector, they have saved my s20 Ultra 4 times! by the second installation I was more confident and now its super easy. it seems pricey but the relief of having the protector shatter and not your screen is priceless!
It is SUPER IMPORTANT that you do the install on a perfectly level surface! I tried my install on a surface that turned out to be about 1/16th of a bubble off on a torpedo level, and all the adhesive ran off the side of the phone. The instructions say to check the surface with a level, and I highly recommend that you don't skip that step.
Excellent step by step instructions! It looks daunting but it's actually very easy and works great! Just remember to redo your finger prints. Thank you!
i work at a phone repair store that sells these screen protectors and to remove them, u can just use some isopropyl and maybe get a plastic card (dont use anything metal or u will scratch the screen) and just slowly weaken the adhesive with the isopropyl and itll come off easily. For the adhesive leaking onto the sides, just wipe it off with an alcohol wipe and clean the rest with a micro fibre cloth and ur all good to go.
Ok so I just got one of these and I wanted to leave a lil bit of my opinion here. 1. if your doing this yourself and not listening to someone explain it then it really goes a lot faster and isn't very hard. 2. yes they are $70 and worth every penny. They are very clear and bubble free and don't peel up at the edges like the plastic ones do. Plus you get 2 of them along with the UV light.
First time, I wrongly assumed which side the peel off on the protector was, and assumed that was the top side (which of course wouldn't make sense if you think about it more, its the underside cos that cant be wiped afterwards. So I ended up with glue everywhere, puddles on my desk, my phone was dripping and I had a dry, but also wet gluey mess to get off my phone. Left it a day, came back to apply the second, got it the right way up and looks good! Its very gluey on the edges etc though still, gonna wait an hour or so to let the rest ooze out if any still is, then I'll take the stickers off and wipe. Thank you for the help :)
That little foam circle on the back is cut out so you can have those little pop top things that "make it easier to hold your phone" not to wipe of your screen lol...

It's unfortunate you can't send the uv light back for some sort of credit. The amount of these they ship out seems like a very unnecessary expense adding to the cost.

Mine didn't come with a screen protector. Just the plastic film that you peel off. But you'll want to make sure your phone is free of any screen protector before applying the Whitestone dome.
Mine looks like it has 2 as well, the film that you peel off and a protector underneath. I actually came to find a video that says if this is actually what it has or if I'm going crazy seeing double😅
Mine came with a thin film with a tab at the top right corner. Underneath this is a better fitting protector. You would need to remove this to fit another protector. It is very clear and works with fingerprint scanner. It does not covers side edges of screen too well and the gap can interfer with swiping. Have not seen any review mentioning this or peeling off.
Excellent step by step instructions, thank you! my fingerprint scanner would not accept my fingerprint after install until I went into settings, removed all fingerprint scans and re-did the scans. Now it works perfectly!
@@theblurmetalhead did you press your thumb down on the fingerprint sensor area like in this video before the final UV light step to cure the adhesive? It makes the adhesive thinner in that area so it can read your print better. Also turn on your phone's setting for extra touch sensitivity for use with screen protectors

Great video Josh, very instructional. Appreciate the time invested in making this for the rest of us. I would however if you don't mind, like to make one suggestion to your viewers out there. When the application procedure is finished, I would recommend leaving the phone in the unit overnight before popping it out and cleaning it, this giving the adhesive plenty enough time to dry. What happened to me last night Josh, was by the time I finish the application, I followed your instructions and immediately popped the phone out of the case after waiting your suggested two to four minutes, and then proceeded to clean the sides for any remaining adhesive residue with the recommended alcohol pad. What I noticed was, the alcohol ( however subtle) had slightly gotten up underneath around the entire border from cleaning the edges of the phone. This caused the alcohol to slightly dissolve the still freshly applied adhesive causing it to completely ruin the entire application, forcing me to remove, discard, and start again with the second protector provided in the kit! I am happy to say that at the end of the second application, I woke up the following morning, popped it out of the case, and was able to clean with absolutely "NO" issue whatsoever!.............Thanks again Josh!!!!
Great installation video, easy to follow with some great tips - watched it once before installing and then replayed step by step. I had to set my fingerprint again but was still having to press very hard. Adjusted the screen sensitivity in settings and it now works perfectly! Perfect installation- thank you! 🙏

Very easy to follow!!! The screen protector isn't as advanced once you look at all the parts. My only problem is my surface wasn't fully flat, I guess, and I got two super tiny air bubbles. It is quite visible on white backgrounds. Other than that, amazing video!!! Edit: Super easy to take off and reapply. Got it perfectly the second time. Make sure your surface is flat!! Don't trust a folding table.

A few weeks ago i've installed the spigen version of the whitestone dome (spigen glas.TR platinum 2.0) for my s21 ultra and it fits really good. Which one is better? Do i have to remove it and install a whitestone dome glass? (I'm asking because they are almost identical)

How is your dome glass holding up? I realised dome glass is way too fragile compared to tempered glass. Got a few cracks already from two 1 foot drops (bed to carpet! Not even on a hard surface) probably gonna switch back to neo flex.
Really excellent tutorial - thanks! The instructions made it look very complicated, but you really simplified it down. I managed to do it even with a headache! This has been the easiest screen protector to install. No taking it off 4 times and recentre-ing, and then finding it is still off. No bubbles, no bits at the edges that come off. For anyone struggling, watch the video once through and then play it through again whilst you are applying step by step. Unfortunately I missed the step about pressing on the fingerprint, so my finger sensor doesn't work, but I just use face recognition or pin instead. My last phone's sensor didn't work either, so it's no big deal.
When I pry the glass at the corners, it starts to peel off. Do you have that too? I illuminated the adhesive already 3x1min and then the same. I did not have this problem with the t-max glass in the samsung s8.
I've been using Whitestone for a long time, and I love the new motorized top removal! But I do not use that weight anymore, every time I've used it, it pushed a bunch of LOCA glue out the sides leaving me a huge mess to clean up.

What is the point of using the stop watch for timing the UV cure light? One press gives you 15 seconds and shuts off automatically. 2 presses gives you 60 seconds and shuts off automatically. The use of the timer seems redundant.
To show that I actually let it stay on that long. You won't believe the people I get sometimes saying I skipped steps or didn't cure it long enough just because I don't show the whole curing process on camera. So this time I showed the whole curing process with timer👍
What are these screen protectors like to remove when you need to replace it after braking? I've never used the uv adhesive before. Does it leave any residue you need to remove before installing another? Is it more difficult to remove off your screen? Any advice would be appreciated :) otherwise, great video!
I just removed the Note 10 version of this when I sold mine, it comes off in pieces because of the glue. Definitely not a single peel and took some prying to get the last few pieces off. I didn't notice any residue though. Overall more annoying than the standard tempered glass protector like the ZAGG ones. Still, I'd rather have one of these on for a year and suffer 10 minutes of inconvenience when it comes off, than use a film protector and have it crack the first time I drop it on a hard surface.

My new Samsung galaxy s21 ultra was in my handbag and something hard broke the screen protector. It also shattered after dropping it from no more than 2 ft. I'd rather not take any chances as this is the most expensive phone I've ever owned. I dug deep into research for a good case with not too much bulk and found the uag civilian which I am very happy with. I figured it would be silly to get a good case and not spend the extra money on a decent screen protector.

Can confirm this screen protector works just fine with the Supcase UB. I noticed it didn't work without some extra work on your note 20 video.

Probably not to be honest. It might fit with it, but once you drop it the pressure from the tight fitting bulky case might start to push it up.

@@mikerzisu9508 put mine on today and I'm extremely happy with it. The finger print sensor worked without even having to re scan my finger prints and I didn't have to turn on the screen sensitivity in the display settings. I'd highly recommend it to anyone

How case friendly is this screen protector?
Very case friendly except for with super bulky cases. It'll fit with bulky cases but might get pushed up if dropped..

Thanks so much for this video bro, it's ths reason I purchased White Stone Dome. I followed your directions and my screen protector came out flawless.
How is your dome glass holding up? I realised dome glass is way too fragile compared to tempered glass. Got a few cracks already from two 1 foot drops (bed to carpet! Not even on a hard surface) probably gonna switch back to neo flex.
I'm still on this first glass I installed. Even after all of the case drop tests on the channel and drops after. It's held up well👍
Really excellent tutorial - thanks! The instructions made it look very complicated, but you really simplified it down. I managed to do it even with a headache! This has been the easiest screen protector to install. No taking it off 4 times and recentre-ing, and then finding it is still off. No bubbles, no bits at the edges that come off. For anyone struggling, watch the video once through and then play it through again whilst you are applying step by step. Unfortunately I missed the step about pressing on the fingerprint, so my finger sensor doesn't work, but I just use face recognition or pin instead. My last phone's sensor didn't work either, so it's no big deal.

When I pry the glass at the corners, it starts to peel off. Do you have that too? I illuminated the adhesive already 3x1min and then the same. I did not have this problem with the t-max glass in the samsung s8.
I've been using Whitestone for a long time, and I love the new motorized top removal! But I do not use that weight anymore, every time I've used it, it pushed a bunch of LOCA glue out the sides leaving me a huge mess to clean up.
Sometimes when you don't use the weight, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work too good.

What is the point of using the stop watch for timing the UV cure light? One press gives you 15 seconds and shuts off automatically. 2 presses gives you 60 seconds and shuts off automatically. The use of the timer seems redundant.
To show that I actually let it stay on that long. You won't believe the people I get sometimes saying I skipped steps or didn't cure it long enough just because I don't show the whole curing process on camera. So this time I showed the whole curing process with timer👍

What are these screen protectors like to remove when you need to replace it after braking? I've never used the uv adhesive before. Does it leave any residue you need to remove before installing another? Is it more difficult to remove off your screen? Any advice would be appreciated :) otherwise, great video!
I just removed the Note 10 version of this when I sold mine, it comes off in pieces because of the glue. Definitely not a single peel and took some prying to get the last few pieces off. I didn't notice any residue though. Overall more annoying than the standard tempered glass protector like the ZAGG ones.
Still, I'd rather have one of these on for a year and suffer 10 minutes of inconvenience when it comes off, than use a film protector and have it crack the first time I drop it on a hard surface.
This helps a lot, thank you! I've bought a pack and am going to give it a shot. I usually use tempered glass screens that stick on. Though these don't last long at all. My new Samsung galaxy s21 ultra was in my handbag and something hard broke the screen protector. It also shattered after dropping it from no more than 2 ft. I'd rather not take any chances as this is the most expensive phone I've ever owned. I dug deep into research for a good case with not too much bulk and found the uag civilian which I am very happy with. I figured it would be silly to get a good case and not spend the extra money on a decent screen protector.
