      It really is, for those that persistently do the long range or even do the winter mileage. This one is one they’ve been holding out for. Is it your first Tesla?

    RWD SR is the best value. You think you need more range, but in reality most of us don't. I own the new SR - I don't have range anxiety.

      I had the 2021 Refresh Model 3 with 263 miles. With now 318 miles, the occasional road trip is even easier. Day to day, especially the UK, very little people would need more. But that’s where the long range rwd comes in!

      same here, i usually need about 5-10% of the 60 KW battery capacity a day, where most of the % is drained due to the thirsty Sentry mode (usually about 5% in 9 hour shift).

      There was a proposed update to reduce sentry consumption expected at the start of the year. But it never appeared, hopefully it’s still scheduled!

    When you mention charging speed, you forgot a key component which is the charging curve. The LFP has a lower peak speed, but an excellent curve because it can and will hold it's max or close to its max rate longer, and deeper into the battery pack compared to the other nmc type Tesla offers. This means that even though it's max charge speed is lower, it super charges at very similar rates(time/ battery percentage) to the others and can be better especially when talking about the upper half of battery charging, only thing is it will have less range because of the obviously smaller pack.

    I have ordered a LR RWD. Not only for the range but mostly for the performance difference. You have very very briefly mentioned performance. Its not all about range. Buying an EV in 2025 that is slower than a 20 year old cheap BMW that can not even pay the deposit of this car is not acceptable in my book.
    Also for some reason the new red colour is much cheaper in LR RWD for PCH than all other models.

    Iam from Canada and I ordered a TM3 RWD LR and it says "premium interior" with 17 speakers and dual subwoofers just like the AWD version.

      Je suis au Canada j’ai acheté ma RWD Long Range et j’ai interieur premium avec le système de son avec subwoofers. Le tout m’a été confirmé par Tesla et je la reçois vendredi.

    I was planning on getting the model Y RWD LR but, Compared to the Model 3 RWD LR Highland 703km at a lower price for me it´s the right choice :)

      703km?

    • @AdamWellinformed
      @AdamWellinformed  Месяц назад +1

      Yeah, it’s truly dependent on your requirements. The whole Model Y vs Model 3 argument is a different ball game 😂 Was price the determining factor for you in the end?

    Apparently after 30000 miles the long range looses 6% and can only charge to 80% where as the standard range can charge to 100 % and matches the long range miles so if your only looking for mpg its not worth the extra 10000 s of pounds
