i found this on IG, loved the first version. then it popped up again and had to listen to the full version. truly good. funny, but endearing, also the chords are 🔥
I found this on Instagram and l love it. Your voice and guitar blends so well. It's funny and almost romantic. A glory hole is a welcome treat after travelling thousands of miles.
a hidden gem. found this on Instagram and your tone and playing got me immediately interested. it’s rare these silly songs are so good, so it’s so fun to find one that is!!
a genuinely lovely song. clever lyrics aside (and they are clever), the melody is haunting and the vocal dynamics are engaging throughout. well done, and thanks for sharing!!
This is absolutely fantastic! Looking forward to the Spotify release! You are beautiful and I like to think that you are the trucker serenading about the open road 🥰
i know that you intended this as a comedic post but it reminds me so much of Lavender Country, whose self titled album is the first gay-themed country album ever and is a huge inspiration to current gay country singer Orville Peck. patrick haggerty, the guitarist/singer and only consistent/original member of the band, passed away in 2022, and hearing this song made me happy that old school gay country wasnt going to end with them. whether you realized it or not, youre keeping a really valuable and revolutionary art form alive, and INCREDIBLY well, btw; the sincerity that you treated the subject matter, even though it wasnt meant to be serious, really shows, and ive never heard a joke song that came both with humor and emotional stakes. tldr: i hope you continue to write songs like this!!! you are an incredibly powerful lyricist and singer and i didnt expect a gay trucker song to rip me to shreds, you have immense talent and skill and ill be here when the cruising crooner album drops
I’m begging you to add this to Spotify
someday i hope!!
As a dirty trucker, I thank you for this tune! It will now be broadcast on the CB while lounging at truck stops.
hahaha love it!
This song has been stuck in my head all day. Why is it so good??!
