He really isn’t slept on dude is huge. That isn’t a positive thing idk why y’all always say that as if the artist wants to hear that, they don’t lmao it’s basically saying “he’s good but nobody knows or cares about him” everyone I know has known and loved Denzel since 2013-14. Even in like 2015 or whenever Ultimate came out, EVERYONE knew that song. Taboo was on like every top album list of that year, how much does he have to do before people can just say “this song is awesome” without adding the underrated or slept on part
@@byHexted He's definetly slept on in a mainsteam sense. People listen to more then mainstream rappers (lil baby, polo g, durk etc) know who Denzel is and know hes good but your average rap listener will have on heard his most popular stuff

All of denzels albums are wildly different, he is a very versatile rapper. This new album is a very introspective trippy vibe. Taboo was a cutting edge concept album with 3 different parts. Zuu was a big shoutout to his home state. He did a futuristic rap rock mashup with ghostemane and others on 'blood in blood out mix' etc etc . ALL his albums and mixtapes are good, he really never misses! etc etc the guy is super talented. Denzel and Dave are both in my top 4 along with Kendrick and Cole

Kendrick and Cole are very good story tellers. JID and Baby Keem are good younger guys newer to the mainstream. Denzel from the 2016 era and made music with guys like X and Skimask and Kodak, Playboy Carti. If you like the older stuff Geto Boys from Texas, NWA and Tupac from Cali, and one of the most highly regarded lyricists MF DOOM from New York.
I don’t listen to a ton of Denzel’s music but I am well aware how extremely talented and creative he is. Dude is honestly very slept on

IMO it's one of the better Rap LP's of the last years and it goes fcking hard, the production is crazy.
