exactly! besides, if he hadn't made the choice to come in she would not have any footage to take revenge on him with so he's just learning his actions have consequences rn. he didn't feel bad cheating on his wife in the first place, he didn't feel bad about lying to his affair partner about going to see his ex wife 2 minutes after their baby's birth, he's not far off from doing the same to his gf as he did his wife, and we don't know if they did hook up in those 45 mins. 45 minutes is more than enough time for anything to have happened, they all know it
@reoxia I agree entirely! I honestly don't believe the guy. I think he's painting himself in a positive light because as you said! 1. WHO TF goes to see their ex right before their partner gives birth? And 2. If it's for a key chain, have a friend go pick it up or if you do go why would it take a half hour to retrieve a key chain? I don't believe they were chatting to get any closure, your child is being born who would risk missing that over a key chain??? And it doesn't take that long to get the item if it's oh so important to him. He easily could have said; "I gotta go, my son is being born today, thank you for the key chain, I'm sorry about everything, good luck to you." But no, he didn't. I don't believe that nothing happened between the two of them. And of course even if, big if he is telling the truth, his new baby momma is his affair partner and she knows how she got him, she knows he can do it again if he wants to because he's already capable of it, because she was part of the original issue. I don't feel bad for the guy or for his mistress turned partner/ baby momma either, however, I do feel bad for the poor baby. I hope the child will be ok.
Last story bothers me because he doubled down and played stupid. If she didn’t know for certain or didn’t have her proof, he wouldn’t have come clean :(
Exactly! I can’t believe they blew past this. His reaction to her initial confrontation was 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩. Then he had time to come up with his story. They let him off way too easily.
Yeah I was kind of baffled by that as well. The whole playing stupid thing??? I mean, the story sounds believeable enough but I’d want to talk to his coworkers lol. And oh yeah 100% he would have to tell everyone I’m his wife. But idk if I’d be able to get past the while lying for several years…
Right??? They def let him off too easy because “oh yay whew doesn’t sound like he was cheating - poor guy was just so insecure” Like what?? He LIED for literal YEARS. Not just about saying his wife is his sister (which is insane in itself). He lied about what he did every weekend. About his vacations. About how he spent his time after work. About the last several years of his personal life history, omitting his serious relationship and getting married and having a home with his wife. And you know he had to come up with some sort of reason about why he wasn’t dating anyone. If he bothered to at all. Otherwise those dudes would have definitely tried to set him up and encourage him to flirt with girls at work/ at the bars. He probably didn’t come up with a lie to avoid that though. He probably shamelessly flirted with them because everyone thought he was single. He’s a psycho manipulative pathological liar And they just completely glossed over it which tbh infuriates me still days later when I think about it 😅 He came up with some pitiable story about how he was afraid he wouldn’t fit in at work Around strangers That he doesn’t know and really doesn’t need a personal relationship/ friendship with in order to do his job He cared more about what these random strangers at work thought about him. More than what his wife would feel. He cared more about them than his own wife That’s absolutely ridiculous. He needs serious therapy for that deep insecurities and manipulative tendencies, plus a myriad of other things that would cause a person to do something like this. I hope he gets help. And I hope OP is okay. More people need to be pointing out to her how awful what he did was. I hope she leaves him She deserves someone who will show her off and brag about her to his friends and coworkers. Not someone that hides her and lies about her to seem “cool/ like another bro” or whatever. Josh was an idiot *AT BEST*… Okay rant over.
Story 1: I understand that OP cheated a year before and maybe that’s why his family and friends don’t believe him, but it’s weird to me that absolutely no one believes him or even seems willing to hear him out. Seems to speak a lot to his character and how others truly see him 😳
I agree but I dont think he is lying only because. Annie wouldnt stoop down to his level. She isnt gonna go back and actually sleep with the person that did her so dirty.
Story 6 : Idk why, maybe I’m just cynical but when the husband was acting dumb even though OP confronted him and showed the evidence, it gave me the ick. I understand he’s “pressured” by his colleagues but dude it’s just him and his wife this time. You saw your wife crying and upset in front of you yet you pretend to be dumb and double down? Maybe it’s just me but I couldn’t get past that. I’m stuck with that bit.
I don't think you're cynical at all, I think it's one of the biggest red flags against his story. I think if he had just lied to his coworkers but had not crossed any other relationship boundaries, when confronted, he'd immediately say "okay, i know what it looks like but I can explain". If it's the truth, you don't need downtime to load the story. It seems like he had rehearsed how to gaslight her if it ever came up, but he didn't expect there to be any proof, so he just short-circuited and defaulted to deny deny deny. Then he regrouped and came up with a story that makes it seem like he's admitting to some things, but not the worst ones.
@@sym2988 YES! Exactly my thoughts. He had the time to think of a more believable reason. Like 2 truths and a lie. Cheating is more plausible imo. 3 years?! Give me a break.
Not cynical at all. That is the part that makes me think that whole story he told is bullshit. He literally sat there, looking at messages of him saying these things to his co-workers, and still tried to gaslight her, just so he could buy himself time to come up with a plausible lie that he felt she would fall for. If he was telling the truth, he would've done it right when he was confronted. But he needed time to come up with a plausible lie, and therefore defaulted to denying, despite the proof literally staring him in the face. He is scum and she should leave him.
in the weirdest way, it leaves me kinda unsettled. i’m sad for the baby, and the mom if she didn’t know he wasn’t a single man when they slept together. i’m torn between the sick satisfaction and feeling very unsatisfied lol. definitely not a happy ending, but maybe what he deserves
Yeah I found it incredibly satisfying. Even if Jess didn’t know originally she knew after and was quickly pregnant. Sucks for the kid but I don’t feel sorry for Jess at all.
Story 6: He lived THREE, 3, 👌🏿, years as a single man and you had no idea. He went to work knowing his female coworkers thought he was free game and the flirty texts and lack of HR involvement let’s you know whatever was happening was mutual. And oh yeah 3 years is enough time to get rid of ANY ounce of evidence, so I wouldn’t trust him too much if I was op.
It’s so obvious he’s lying. He played dumb and that was the best lie he could come up with in her absence. You know he poured over every text to see what lie he could make up that wouldn’t be contradicted. Saying “I’ll quit” is him trying to appear like a good guy. OF COURSE HE WOULD RATHER QUIT AND NOT TELL HIS COWORKERS. And then she’s supposed to support them while he finds a new job? F that
Anyone who gaslights you *that* hard upon confronting them with literal screenshots and then comes back hours later and only is able to speak from a written, prepared statement is the biggest clown of a BS-er and I hope she eventually was able to see that...
Him going “I don’t know what I’m looking at” when OP showed him the screenshot of him calling her sis pissed me off so bad. No normal, respectful, loving partner would try to gaslight you like that.
The fact that she very deliberately went looking for the names to chose one of those names is straight up heinous! She most definitely did it to be vindictive to her sister.
Story 5: Didn’t cheat? WHO TF CARES. I would have left from the financial abuse alone. Cheating just hurts emotionally but harming my finances is something that takes much more effort to recover from.
Yes! Also, no loyal partner turns off location, dodges phone calls and heads ALONE to a strip club on a whim and as a first offense. Obviously, if it's an idea and sounded like a plan in his drunken state it's highly unlikely to be his first time.
Yea I was more pissed about the money part!. Sitting here worked up wondering how she can get that amount back from him after dumping his ass as if it's my own situation. 😂
First story: Yeah my partner has made it CLEAR that she doesn't feel okay with my past relationship, so I will go BEHIND HER BACK AGAIN, just to prove I really did not stay with her just because she's pregnant now
Literally. This ALL could have been avoided if he literally just said "Hey Jess! I need to go to Annie's to get a sentimental keychain from my grandfather or else it's going to be thrown away"
@user-pm5mi3io7r I would literally bring my mom. (Well, I wouldn't cheat in the first place but) or someone Jess trusts. Like yeah I went cause she said she was gonna toss this important item but I had a chaperone and was a good boy! 😂
he went behind her back because she had something of his grandfather's that meant a lot to him. Something he could've easily explained if given the chance
Last story was a ROLLERCOASTER! I was so angry, then bewildered and then just straight up laughing at the end of it 😭🤣🤣🤣 Josh you’re a mess, time to find a new job in a new industry 🤣🤣🤣
I don’t get why Morgan and Lauren were sounding like that was an acceptable excuse on Josh’s part ?? Like oh yeah he lied and said she was his sister so he wouldn’t get excluded by coworkers that (at that time) he barely knew That dude clearly cared more about what these random coworkers thought about him than what his wife thought. He valued them over his wife’s feelings. OP deserves so much better than that man But maybe my experience is colored because my husband always makes his computer desktop photo a picture of our family (me and our two fur babies) pretty much the first week that he starts a new job. At no point is he waiting to see what his coworkers think about marriage or whatever first. He’ll just be like “I can’t wait to get home to see my wife” most days These are random coworkers that Josh barely knew at first. He has other friends. It’s not like he’s desperate for a group of drinking buddies or something. But guess he can keep his finance bros. It just cost him his wife and her trust.
@@Ciela531I feel like in a world of Reddit stories were the worse case scenario ends up happening, it’s nice to have a story were there’s an innocent explanation to the issue. At the end of the day, if OP forgives/believes him, I say we let them be.
@@kaiab.-wx8mz I mean yeah there were definitely worse reasons that could have been going on and of course that’s where our minds went But just because it doesn’t appear to be that doesn’t make what he did okay still. It doesn’t matter what his excuse was. There’s still something really messed up about telling all your coworkers that you aren’t married, behaving like you aren’t married, and keeping up the lie that your wife is your sister for YEARS. This dude pathologically lied to his coworkers for years. And not just about that. He would have to lie about what he did over the weekend. What he did on vacation. Why he wasn’t dating. Or maybe even made up a fake gf so they wouldn’t try to hook him up with other girls. He has to fabricate the past several years of his personal history to not include the parts where he started dating, got married, etc. Who knows how many lies this dude had to tell. But it wasn’t just that one. He was living a completely different life at work vs his home. Moral/ Mentally stable people don’t do that. And I feel like they just glossed over that completely simply because “oh whew he’s not cheating, everything’s okay now!” 😅 Completely missing the fact that what he did was still totally messed up I guess I hope him and OP work it out. But he definitely needs serious therapy first for the deep insecurities and people pleasing tendencies (plus a myriad of other issues I’m sure)
Story 1 - pregnant women are still adults. They don't need to be treated like children or have decisions made for them. He should have told her and they could have made the decision together. Pregnant women don't need to be "protected" and still deserve the full truth. He lied to her because he knew he was wrong.
Was about to comment this too, he said that’s the only supportive thing she said after he told her what happened and she didn’t believe him so I assume thats it.
That final story had me in stitches imagining the humiliation this man is feeling. This could totally be a movie plot. Definitely don’t know if I trust if he’s not cheating though…
The fact that he only confessed after she found proof.... Speaks volumes. He was never gonna tell her and he was gonna keep lying. Even though this was DOOMED to blow up in his face at some point. Idk. Idk if it'd be able to stay with someone who lived to me AND about me for 3 years.
I hope he’s not cheating because I find the whole situation he put himself in to be comical and borderline step on a rake comedy. I’m just dying at the thought of this sitcom level situation he created for himself if he is truly just a doormat follower wanting to be in the “cool kids” clique. All that being said it is still highly suspicious and I’m not fully trusting him. There’s lots of red flag behavior in the confrontation and follow up.
For the last story, I wouldn’t be able to work through it because of the lie in combination with the flirty work messages. I’m sorry I can’t accept that they are just “banter”. He was directly benefiting from the women at his work thinking he was single and was perfectly comfortable being flirty with them. He wasn’t just doing it to fit in with the guys.
even if it was just to "fit in with the boys" that gives me bad vibes too. what else does he do to fit in with the boys? I mean I'm thinking dark here, but when I hear "frat boy environment" I go to rape and SA jokes and degrading comments about women (I was in a sorority in college and had plenty of interactions with frat bros, and that's my experience with them). I would never want to be with someone that compromises their values to fit in.
@@kennedy.5152 no I agree. And even if he isn’t going that far, how many times has he gone out to the bars with his coworkers and acted single to “fit in”. I just could not trust someone like that.
Story 2 : the fact he is using the pet as a tool instead of it’s own being. If he just wanted a trial he could’ve maybe fostered an animal. I can’t imagine how he will use their kid if they ever argue if he can’t even treat a pet right l. Also if she is exhausted from the dog how much work is he doing ? He already is offloading all the work into her
It might also be an issue that the pup listens to him and is a terror with her. I have a dog who's breed is known for intelligence, she behaves for me because I was the one training her. She thinks time with hubby is fun time where she doesn't have to listen so he ends up getting burned out by her shenanigans. I tried to include him in the training but he wasn't enthusiastic, thankfully she's only 27ib. If the pup he got is going to be large THEY MUST get the dog to respect her enough to listen or she's going to be terrorized in her own home by a dog that could do serious damage. It's going to be a safety issue real soon.
My first thought was baby trapping. He already purposefully disregarded her wishes, if she doesn't want a baby right now....he might make that decision for her AGAIN and baby trap her
Agreed. If she is so exhausted and overwhelmed when the dog is there its good that he takes it when he leaves for work but she also had no time to prepare to have the dog, iirc what the story said he just brought it home one day, and went against what her wishes for a dog were. Versus with her own future pregnancy('s) she will likely have 7+ months to prepare for a kid. Hoping he doesn't do anything to damage her/their BC methods to trap her.
If my partner told their coworkers I was their sister, I'd show up at their job and be very handsy and kissy and beyond what a sibling relationship would be.
For Story 4: She and her husband felt so much pain about it that they couldn't even discuss the names and now she's going to have to hear one of them the rest of her life by proxy that is so upsetting, my heart goes out to her and her husband ❤
@@synystergrl9270 I always think that the parents try to keep the peace so much that they side with the less mature sibling to do so, thinking that becase OP is more mature she will forgive them for it and just go along with it. Maybe OPs sister just makes things more dramatic and to avoid being the target the parents go along with it
@@HelloItsPrisca I hate it when parents try to keep the peace. All they do is make everything x10 worse as this enables the bad behaviour and increases the liklihood of the bad behaviour happening again. This is probably why OP's sister is such a bitch, because the parents haven't punished her bad behaviour growing up.
@@HelloItsPriscathats how my mother is and now she has a spoiled daughter that can’t admit her own faults I was always blamed or dismissed to keep the “Peace”
This was a rough episode, but this actually might have been the most heartbreaking. I would have to go no contact with sister and LC with parents. With her marriage already rocky, having those people as your support network is just too bleak to imagine.
Story 6-im sorry why are we believing Josh😭 even IF he somehow “panicked” and said his wife was his sister (what), in 3 YEARS he continued to lie and act like a single guy and flirt with coworkers? I feel like he got caught up in the “frat” vibe at work and wanted to live his single bachelor fantasy with his new friends. Idk callll me crazy but🤷♀️
With the first story when OP mom’s assuming Annie wanted to reconcile, I’m thinking she’s assuming that Annie wanted reconciliation because she had been “sleeping with” OP for a couple of months, at least according to the narrative Annie is putting out there so maybe OP’s mom is assuming Annie wanted reconciliation.
I truly dont think Annie would sleep with him again. He did her dirty and she isnt gonna lower her value to be with him again. I think thats the only reason I believe him.
Does no one else find it sus that NOT A SINGLE BREATHING HUMAN believes OP in #1. That says more to me than anything else. This was diabolical revenge and I’m taking notes whatchu mean 😂
story 6: HE IS TELLING EVERYONE THAT HIS WIFE IS HIS SISTER?!?! this is an immediate no for me. raging red flag. why is he lying about such a large part of his life???? absolutely bizarre.
Story 6- It's so weird that she didn't immediately correct the husband's coworker. She kept quiet about it all for waaay too long. I would have corrected Jake, then straight up embarrassed the husband at work the next day.
I work at one of top four largest accounting firms in the world, our teams messages auto delete after one month and I have to assume other large firms are the same. Ngl made me question if the story was real
@JordanZ1698 good point! I think I've only worked at one business that didn't auto delete messages, but everywhere else I've worked (big or small) had a 90 day limit I doubt you'd find messages from 2 years ago. It's also not typical to share shirtless holiday pictures in a work chat lol. Also Bali with your sister? Who you seem really close to? And share a dog? If it is true, the office either knows she's his wife or think he's abnormally close with his sister. I would also never be so bold as to ask my coworker if his sister is single like that. I guess they don't wear wedding rings either? There's too many red flags for nonsense tbh.
Nah, this is way too fucking strange. I'm definitely what you would call 'opinionated' and if someone asked me if I was my spouses sister my brain would blue screen of death. It's so common and normal for people to do some version of absolutely nothing when confronted with bizare events.
@@KETimiko I would think the correction would almost be a reflex. OP claiming it's due to being conflict averse is ridiculous. No way you don't correct that automatically.
Story 2: I think someone who compares children to dogs, usually doesn't understand children, or dogs and they tend to either have an authoritarian, or permissive parenting style. They either don't know how to use positive reinforcement and use force, yelling and hitting, or they don't bother to put proper boundaries and manners in place at all. This man sounds like he would be controlling and condescending to his future wife and any children they had.
Also, he probably thinks that parenting is a woman’s job. He probably won't do anything around the house and think of spending time with his kids as “babysitting”
@@katelynslagle6344 I wasn't referring to that kind of thing in which you have a relationship with your dog in which you "treat your dog as your child" as in spoil them and love them deeply. I meant specifically in which people think that the success you have in handling a dog will predict your success as a parent. Being able to train a dog, read it's body language, meet it's needs for affection, exercise and nutrition are indeed a big commitment and a dog can take up a huge part of your life and your heart and I was not belittling that kind of bond. I just think it's way too different to compare it to raising a baby/child/teenager. At the end of the day I was putting forward an anecdote that I thought of while listening to the story about the husband who seems to think his fiance's treatment of a large high energy dog she didn't want will inform him about how she will be as a mother. I don't think it makes any sense. And I think it demonstrates a lack of understanding of how different the situations are.
Story 6: Lets say hes telling the truth. He lied to his coworkers about being married bc he didnt wanna be made fun of by a bunch of grown men acting like high schoolers. They only do that bc they dont have what he has, and the fact he wasnt man enough to put his pride to the side to simply acknowledge his wife is disrespectful to her. If I was married, I dont care if my wife is around or not, Im gonna say how shes the most beautiful woman in the world. If this was just a year or a couple months, I'd say therapy, but bc hes been pulling this lie for THREE YEARS, this is a good time to give him the D... DIVORCE. If he can keep a lie for that long, who knows what else hes keeping from her.

Jess not allowing OP to see the child is not Annie's fault. If anything its petty of Jess to punish OP for cheating on her by revoking access to the child. He is going to court so will see the child again because judges don't deny parental access because of cheating. Many people are blaming Annie for OP not being able to see his child in the short term but that isn't her fault, its Jess'.
If we assume he's telling the truth about her lying, than the three of them are responsible for this, her for lying for revenge, him for not telling her he was going there and his babymama for preventing him from seeing the child.@@xwinwinwinx
First of all Morgan, thank you for the fertility trigger warning. That is one that is very often overlooked so I appreciate it. And alright second of all, we’ve been struggling with infertility for 3 yrs with one loss, if somebody LET ALONE MY SISTER used the name we have planned I would NEVER speak to them again. That would absolutely devastate me. Honestly at this point in our journey it would feel like a death in the family
Story one: I think her still angry and plotting for a year and still not being over it is TOTALLY normal, HE WAISTED 8 F YEARS of her life, how many 8 years do we have in our youth?, she invested 8 years in him and lost and got a whole bunch of baggage she gotta deal with when she did absolutely nothing wrong!
And bot just that, for her to see him moved on and intentionally getting the other girl pregnant IN 3 FING MONTHS ?!!!!!! yeah no she was soooo rational with her revenge, if that was me someone is getting arrested.
I don't believe the guy in the story 6. His coworkers noticed his lock screen but not his wedding ring that he kept on for 3 years? An extrovert who's not able to take a joke about being married or say something funny and charming if there's some ribbing? COWORKERS begging for vacation pics??? Sounds like he's a good liar and had some time to figure out a story to get him off the hook. Ultimately, it doesn't matter, because if it's true, how can i respect him as a partner? I'd be so embarrassed. How can you be so subservient for the approval of dudebros at work?
This! The relationship is over. My narc senses are twitching. Even if he's telling the truth, I don't want a coward that put getting along with his coworkers over me and our marriage. He shouldn't left that toxic work environment. AND of course he'd quit his job. He's saving himself the embarrassment. So many red flags that therapy could not undo for me. Lying for 3 years, Playing dumb when confronted then victimizing himself with his story and locking himself in the bathroom after instead of consoling her....yuck.
@@giam9355 exactly! I just didn't want to use the word narc here but I'm glad you said it. Right!? Like, they notice his lock screen but don't notice that he was wearing his ring?? If they do have this thing in the work place about jokes and such, I totally believe that his coworkers are messing with him. The 2 that meet her, specially the second guy, and, in a way, tell her about it, could have done it just to scr*w him over even more
The last story: if I was OP I would find it hard to get past the fact that his coworkers opinions of him was more important than honouring his wife. My partner always talks about me within weeks of starting a new job, he knows I'm a little insecure and don't want his coworkers flirting with him so he makes sure they know he's in a loving long term relationship. He wouldn't care if he was made fun of for it or ostracised for it (in that case he would say its not the workplace for him) he wouldn't care about fitting in he never has done which is part of what I love about him lol
Story one: op and jess deserved it. They are both disgusting. Besides that, jess doesn’t have the right to push him away from the son, break up with him, don’t speak but don’t let the child pay for both of your mistakes
The son doesn't deserve it though, that's what gets me. It can really have a damaging effect on a child to be raised in such a toxic environment, and he's missing out on crucial bonding time with both of his parents. Now he'll be dealing with an unexpectedly single mom who resents his dad and may project that onto him. Also, as someone who's been done EXTREMELY wrong in relationships and sometimes wish I could've gotten revenge, putting the emotion and effort into getting revenge (especially a whole year later) is really unhealthy for you. She needs therapy and to focus on things that bring her joy, not to keep stewing in toxicity by messing with her ex's life.
@@maggiedki agree about the son part, but maybe this was a good ‘humbling’ experience for them both lol. Dealing with both of them as parents will probably be difficult on its own unfortunately. Also, relationships that come from cheating rarely work out ultimately, kid or not. Idk. I can’t help it. I’m happy Annie got some kind of revenge. That’s so many years wasted for some trashy coworker lol. Annie definitely needs therapy.
Story 1, the heart break and feeling of betrayal after so many years of relationship leaves you with so much mental struggle, ptsd and rage and it's only been a year, I understand how the ex wanted to hurt both of them for what they both done. Only a person that has gone through something so heartbreaking like that would understand.

I know you guys HATE making long episodes but I LOVE THEM I literally listen to yalls podcasts all day at work because I work in apparel and you guys are what gets me going through the day keep doing what your doing morgan ily❤️
Such impressive revenge. I love the genius behind it. Only hate it for the baby. The year after birth is so integral to their emotional development. We are forming a damaged human here. His fault though. Not hers.
It literally reminds me of a movie plot. I literally flashed to Die Hard when Holly was using her maiden name Generro. The difference is that was the 80's and she thought she might not get anywhere in the company knowing she was a married woman with kids. 😂😂
People were judging Annie saying “that the dad and baby are not seeing each other” but no. She took revenge on him and the other woman, the babymomma was the one who decided to not let him be with the baby.
Under false contextual pretenses she made that decision due to outward manipulation. So no it is Annie being vindictive to three people. She’s an asshole and doesn’t get to screw with a family.
@@aliciabarrie7229 only ruined a new family, brought undue stress to a new mother, acting nasty and vindictive over a year later. Denying a newborn their father. Right. Over her own feelings when she isn’t in the picture whatsoever. Lying included. You people need help and therapy.
@@mrdavman13 you don't get to ruin a woman's life and then be mad at how she puts it back together. New moms aren't children who need to be tip toed around - consequences to their actions happen and they still need to deal with it. If you get pregnant by a garbage man, he's probably going to cheat on you. Better Jess finding out now than later 🤷. The baby is still an infant and is probably breastfeeding. The dad will get access when he earns it - if you're talking about respecting a new mom and not causing undue stress - her not needing to be near the person who lied and cheated on her after birth would be saving herself from that undue stress.
@@mrdavman13 the man did that - not Annie. He ruined 2 women's lives and now they are making decisions that are best for them instead of worrying about him. The eyes watering? I thought it was only me! I used to get streaming tears down my face whenever the teacher would choose me to read an excerpt from the textbooks. I would shield my face with my hands and read. I wasn't scared, sad or anything. Just a weird bodily reaction to public speaking. Never happened again in any other situation.
I used to be a MASSIVE blusher in school. It evolved into teary eyes later in life. It literally happens to me every week when I have work meetings with clients who's opinions I extra care about. Can't recommend enough 😂
Every single time 😂. I was a public speaker in highschool so it didn't even make me nervous - just excited and I'd still have to wipe my eyes and my nose would run 😂
Yeah look I get wanting to fit in and not be ostracized. I know how that feels. I actually believe he might be just be stupid and felt trapped. I agree with the ladies that it's to stupid to be a lie. Maybe they can work it out. He definitely needs therapy. I do believe communication is the best option and if he is willing to do the work then they can work it out. I think he needs to grow up. Just my opinion please don't come at me for it. 😂😂😂
With story 5 I think the biggest issue is him ignoring her texts and calls and spending that amount of money. He just disappeared without telling her where he was and then wouldn't respond. That's terrifying when you're on a trip with your partner and not knowing where they are. I would be more upset about that and the ridiculous amount of money he spent than the fact he was at a strip club
yeah and in Vegas of all places. I wouldn't want anyone I was traveling with to be alone there. I love Vegas, but it's crazy, and there's alcohol everywhere so it's just not safe for ppl to be running around by themselves, especially drunk as a tourist. maybe it's because I'm a woman, but I couldn't even imagine going off without my partner at night while drinking in Vegas.
Story1: he deserves Jess breaking up with him but to deny him being a parent and using a child as a weapon is too far. I am so disgusted by everyone in this scenario.
The last story about the husband telling his colleagues his wife was his sister: fuck him. Even if his reason is true, fuck him. He still lied for years. "Found it disgusting he made jokes about me" go to HR! He didn't actually defend her, even if she was his sister, that's still harassment. Tell them off or again go to HR. "I'll quit my job for you," why so he could do it again if he ends up in the same situation at another job? He's at work to do a job not make friends, making friends is a bonus. If he really wants friends be friends with the other married man. Also "that's how you talk to each other in the work place," so he's willing to sexualize the women there instead of trying to just be friends. He's acting like the disgusting men he doesn't "agree with"
100% agree. I’m still mad about their takes on that story tbh and wish they’d re-record it 😅 It feels like they just let him off too easy because “oh yay whew doesn’t sound like he was cheating - poor guy was just so insecure” Like what?? About how he spent his time after work. About the last several years of his personal life history, omitting his serious relationship and getting married and having a home with his wife. And you know he had to come up with some sort of reason about why he wasn’t dating anyone. If he bothered to at all. Otherwise those dudes would have definitely tried to set him up and encourage him to flirt with girls at work/ at the bars. He probably didn’t come up with a lie to avoid that though. @@meliB32 good point, hopefully they had just been recording so much lately and were just glad for a story where it wasn’t revealed that he was cheating the whole time or something and they just didn’t really have the brain energy to consider the other twisted red flags 😅 reeeally wish they would do some kind of correction or reread the story again if it ever gets another update and fix their takes though 😅 I’m mostly confused that I don’t think Morgan took a chance to consider how she’d feel if Justin did that - usually she’s pretty good about inserting herself into the story and considering it from that POV, but I don’t remember her doing that with this one. No way she’d be totally fine with it though lol
Story 4: HELIO? They wanted to name their rainbow child SUN and you take it without asking? If you want to an Ancient Greek MALE name, there are TONS. From Odysseas, to Agamemnon, to Achilles... Sister had no meaning or worth associated to the name
The story about the husband calling his wife his sister made me lol. When you were calling him pathetic and laughing your asses off, my god. So funny. I needed that this morning.
Last Story: It's funny how avoidant both OP and her Husband are. Neither one of them is comfortable clearing up misunderstandings like most people would have quickly done.
Story 1: why didn’t he tell his mum and be like “can you go get grandads property for me” the ex would’ve been so stumped and also you didn’t have to include the baby mama.
Literally this. There were so many options OP had and he chose to just NOT TELL JESS like dude YOU DID this to yourself by yourself. Colossal moron OP.
@krissybee2484 me playing devil's advocate here, but didn't he say the ex said she just found it? Maybe he looked for it/asked for it, but she didn't have it then? That being said, I don’t believe OP. But I do think it is possible that the clock (or whatever it was) is important and yet he didn't get it until now.
Why couldn’t she just mail it to him? 🤷🏻♀️ The fact that she went no contact with him for a year, and now wants him to pick up this item at her place. Something don’t sound right.
In the comments someone asked him why he went in and didn't just pick up the watch and he said he was hopeful that they can reconcile. While his kid was just born. Nasty piece of work
He’s blaming his ex for causing a breakup, stress and separation for a new mother, but doesn’t take responsibility for going to her house without getting an okay from his wife, then ENTERING his exes house and HUGGING her a day after his child was born. Narcissistic behavior. He’s an adult. He made mistakes and now has to deal with the consequences. And, as the mother of that child, I would do much rather the dad be out of my life not only for showing up to his exes house, but for lying about where he was which he had to have done if he left the house.
Story 2 gave me SUCH an ick. He sounds like the type of guy to """accidentally""" get his wife pregnant in the case of her telling him she wasn't ready for kids yet.
Story 5: I used to be a cocktail waitress at a strip club, there’s no way he spent that amount of money unless he was getting vip rooms and more than just dancing was going on… OR he got hustled lol. But the turning off location, not answering calls/texts, etc. leads me to believe the obvious.
Story 1: if this is true I kinda feel like it's karma 🤷🏻♀️ if Jess knew he was in a relationship and still participated in the affair, she deserves the karma too
i kinda think they did sleep together. why wouldn’t she do what they did to her?! l plus, she stated that she didn’t delete the texts, but he doesn’t have any?! i feel like we are skipping over that because op claims there aren’t any. why would she threaten that to the one person that would KNOW there aren’t any? he did NOT have to go in that house. the closure was him cheating and getting another woman pregnant. now, i don’t think jess should be using the baby as a pawn. your relationship with your partner should not affect your child’s relationship with their parent. people (both parties) need to learn how to co-parent without having to be a couple.
@@maamk1111 not saying i believe him when he says nothing happened but there doesn't have to be any incriminating texts for her to make it seem like there are. she's not expecting to ever have to prove there are texts, simply saying that is enough to ruin the relationship and make it look like he's lying.

Also it’s the other woman who is choosing to keep her baby away from his dad not Annie Courts don’t allow parents absolutely no visitation on the basis of alleged infidelity so baby will still have a dad They both just have to suffer their own awful and immoral choices
Story 5 WTF he was absolutely getting some back room action. She needs to dispute the charges or get it from him and divorce or take the L and divorce anyway
The craziest part about story 4 with the sisters, is that the one who gave birth LITERALLY HAS 6 kids!!! Imagine struggling with infertility while your sister is popping out kids left and right, and now she is naming her child to spite you AND say out loud “you will never have a baby anyway, so it doesn’t matter” CRAZY
Story 6: How OP could not confront him after 2 random coworkers referring to her as the sister is beyond me. I don’t believe his explanation at all. 3 years of telling his colleagues that his wife was his sister. 3 years of being the single guy at the office. 3 years of partying as a single guy with his office bros. He definitely cheated. I can’t believe the “I just got caught up in it and it took over” BS. It was a calculated move to present as single because he knew he’d get away with it since his wife was never interested in going to work events or meeting his coworkers.

An idiot doesn’t pull that off. A sociopath could though…)
15:19 I think the mom saying Annie wanted to reconcile came from Annie claiming she hooked up with OP since everyone in his life believes her sides of the story
Same. I interpreted as the mother believing her son cheated with Annie and believing Annie wanted to reconcile since they were supposedly getting together again.
Op from story 4 should get a dog, name it Eleo and take it to EVERY family gathering. When people ask question just answer "isn't it funny she choose a name that was on our "doggy name's list ahahaha" 😂

I do believe you've mentioned you're diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, and in case you didn't know, that has a high comorbidity with autism. Love you, girl
Episode one the mother doesn’t believe him so in her eyes, she can’t understand why he would have a baby if his ex was willing make up with him .. because the mother thinks that he has been talking to her for a long time
@@Itzkaroll exactly 💯 no one should be kept from their kids unless there is an absolute safety issue. Cheating is not a good enough reason to keep someone from their kid.
The married coworker might not have been bullied for being married, maybe they didn't invite him out because he always said no when they had tried in the past, or maybe they just don't like him. I find it hard to believe they truly had an issue with married guys if no one said anything about his ring. Yeah, finance bros are a special breed, but...
omg yeah **WHO TF** goes to see their ex RIGHT before their partner gives birth?!
exactly! besides, if he hadn't made the choice to come in she would not have any footage to take revenge on him with so he's just learning his actions have consequences rn.
he didn't feel bad cheating on his wife in the first place, he didn't feel bad about lying to his affair partner about going to see his ex wife 2 minutes after their baby's birth, he's not far off from doing the same to his gf as he did his wife, and we don't know if they did hook up in those 45 mins. 45 minutes is more than enough time for anything to have happened, they all know it
Right AFTER actually. Which actually makes it worse, lol.
Because he’s still in love with her
@reoxia I agree entirely!

Story 1: I understand that OP cheated a year before and maybe that’s why his family and friends don’t believe him, but it’s weird to me that absolutely no one believes him or even seems willing to hear him out. Seems to speak a lot to his character and how others truly see him 😳
Right???
He's obviously not a good human being.
That's my thought too.
Exactly! Completely deserved imo lol
I agree but I dont think he is lying only because. Annie wouldnt stoop down to his level. She isnt gonna go back and actually sleep with the person that did her so dirty.
Who cares 😂 he cheated. No one should ever believe a word from his mouth again. That's what you get for making the biggest lie a human can make.
Story 6 : Idk why, maybe I’m just cynical but when the husband was acting dumb even though OP confronted him and showed the evidence, it gave me the ick.
Agree 100%

If someone did this to me I would never speak to them again & I'm not even a highly sentimental person. That was such a betrayal on so many levels.
Yes, it’s the cruelty for me too. But the sneakiness is vile too. Poor Elio to have parents like that!

I don’t get why Morgan and Lauren were sounding like that was an acceptable excuse on Josh’s part ??
Like oh yeah he lied and said she was his sister so he wouldn’t get excluded by coworkers that (at that time) he barely knew
That dude clearly cared more about what these random coworkers thought about him than what his wife thought. He valued them over his wife’s feelings.
OP deserves so much better than that man
But maybe my experience is colored because my husband always makes his computer desktop photo a picture of our family (me and our two fur babies) pretty much the first week that he starts a new job. At no point is he waiting to see what his coworkers think about marriage or whatever first. He’ll just be like “I can’t wait to get home to see my wife” most days
These are random coworkers that Josh barely knew at first.
@@kaiab.-wx8mz I mean yeah there were definitely worse reasons that could have been going on and of course that’s where our minds went
But just because it doesn’t appear to be that doesn’t make what he did okay still.
And I feel like they just glossed over that completely simply because “oh whew he’s not cheating, everything’s okay now!” 😅
Completely missing the fact that what he did was still totally messed up
I guess I hope him and OP work it out.
Straight truth!!!

I think he’s conveniently leaving something out
@cruciothelight that’s how I interpreted it too

@@vampiratefairiegrl the crazy part was he still tried to play dumb/ gaslight her AFTER she showed proof like are you dumb?

He is cheating. No way all his coworkers didn't notice his wedding band ? No way
I hope he’s not cheating because I find the whole situation he put himself in to be comical and borderline step on a rake comedy.
A 2 hour Lauren episode 😍
We appreciate you guys so much!

Yes! I always get so excited! ♥️
He already purposefully disregarded her wishes, if she doesn't want a baby right now....he might make that decision for her AGAIN and baby trap her
Also he could have told her and communicated what his intentions are
And the fact the parents are now siding with the sister is so f'd! I HATE when parents side with the sh!tty sibling
Idk callll me crazy but🤷♀️
This is almost exactly what I was thinking. He saw an opportunity, and he grabbed it.

I work at one of top four largest accounting firms in the world, our teams messages auto delete after one month and I have to assume other large firms are the same. Ngl made me question if the story was real
@JordanZ1698 good point! I think I've only worked at one business that didn't auto delete messages, but everywhere else I've worked (big or small) had a 90 day limit
I doubt you'd find messages from 2 years ago.
Right! She definitely shouldn’t be having kids with this loser. There’s some serious undertones of misogyny too
Also, he probably thinks that parenting is a woman’s job. He probably won't do anything around the house and think of spending time with his kids as “babysitting”
Not necessarily. I treat my dog as if he is my child. He listens to me but is spoiled rotten. I love him to pieces as I will when I have kids some day
@@katelynslagle6344 I wasn't referring to that kind of thing in which you have a relationship with your dog in which you "treat your dog as your child" as in spoil them and love them deeply.

I think if he had just lied to his coworkers but has not crossed any other boundaries whatsoever, when confronted, he'd be immediately say "okay i know what it looks like but I can explain". If it's the truth, you don't need downtime to load the story. It seems like he had rehearsed how to gaslight her if it ever came up, but he didn't expect for there to be any proof, so he just short-circuited and defaulted to deny deny deny. Then he regrouped and came up with a story that makes it seem like he's admitting to some things, but not the worst ones.
Right!? Like, they notice his lock screen but don't notice that he was wearing his ring?? If they do have this thing in the work place about jokes and such, I totally believe that his coworkers are messing with him. The 2 that meet her, specially the second guy, and, in a way, tell her about it, could have done it just to scr*w him over even more
I just woke up with cramps this morning and went "I would kill for a THT rn" and there IS ONE. Thank you both, our queens.
He's acting like the disgusting men he doesn't "agree with"
100% agree. I’m still mad about their takes on that story tbh and wish they’d re-record it 😅
It feels like they just let him off too easy because “oh yay whew doesn’t sound like he was cheating - poor guy was just so insecure”
Like what??
He’s a psycho manipulative pathological liar
And they just completely glossed over it which tbh infuriates me still days later when I think about it 😅
He came up with some pitiable story about how he was afraid he wouldn’t fit in at work
Around strangers
That he doesn’t know and really doesn’t need a personal relationship/ friendship with in order to do his job
He cared more about what these random strangers at work thought about him. More than what his wife would feel. He cared more about them than his own wife
That’s absolutely ridiculous.
He needs serious therapy for that deep insecurities and manipulative tendencies, plus a myriad of other things that would cause a person to do something like this.
I hope he gets help. And I hope OP is okay. More people need to be pointing out to her how awful what he did was. I hope she leaves him
She 100% deserves someone who will show her off and brag about her to his friends and coworkers. Not someone that hides her and lies about her to seem “cool/ like another bro” or whatever.
Josh was an idiot *at best*
Okay rant over
@@Ciela531you took the words right out of my mouth! I agree with every thing you said! Especially how they just glossed over it and felt bad for him after, like let’s be real here what the actual f**k! Idk if it was from recording more than normal so they weren’t thinking right but naw, not here for it! You however, 💯 💯 💯 spot on with everything!
@@meliB32 good point, hopefully they had just been recording so much lately and were just glad for a story where it wasn’t revealed that he was cheating the whole time or something and they just didn’t really have the brain energy to consider the other twisted red flags 😅 reeeally wish they would do some kind of correction or reread the story again if it ever gets another update and fix their takes though 😅
I’m mostly confused that I don’t think Morgan took a chance to consider how she’d feel if Justin did that - usually she’s pretty good about inserting herself into the story and considering it from that POV, but I don’t remember her doing that with this one.
I think it was Ilio not Helio
@@stephaniesanders3636 ngl, I tend to just write the Greek words in English letters, so it's possible the spelling is wrong 😅
The story about the husband calling his wife his sister made me lol. When you were calling him pathetic and laughing your asses off, my god. So funny. I needed that this morning.
Story 4, OP’s sister is crazy b.
Her sister did this to hurt OP, this is so cruel
Yeap that sister definitely hates her
Last Story: It's funny how avoidant both OP and her Husband are.
I mean also he’s go he a year without it. It just now finally mattered?
Story 1: if this is true I kinda feel like it's karma 🤷🏻♀️ if Jess knew he was in a relationship and still participated in the affair, she deserves the karma too
i kinda think they did sleep together. why wouldn’t she do what they did to her?! l
plus, she stated that she didn’t delete the texts, but he doesn’t have any?! i feel like we are skipping over that because op claims there aren’t any. why would she threaten that to the one person that would KNOW there aren’t any?
he did NOT have to go in that house. the closure was him cheating and getting another woman pregnant.
now, i don’t think jess should be using the baby as a pawn. your relationship with your partner should not affect your child’s relationship with their parent. people (both parties) need to learn how to co-parent without having to be a couple.
@@maamk1111 if you plotted this, you wouldn't admit you were setting him up in a text that would prove his innocence
@@RooHue while that is true, if he weren’t doing anything in the text messages then she wouldn’t have any threats.
@@maamk1111 not saying i believe him when he says nothing happened but there doesn't have to be any incriminating texts for her to make it seem like there are. she's not expecting to ever have to prove there are texts, simply saying that is enough to ruin the relationship and make it look like he's lying.
@@lowkeylola88 i suppose i just don’t understand saying it to him if it doesn’t hold any weight. i definitely believe that, at the very least, they slept together.
Sister wife guy could get out of it pretty easily if he said "oh wait, yall genuinely thought she was my sister?! I thought it was obvious she was my wife, i was being sarcastic and thought we were all in on the joke". Play dumb, gaslight your coworkers. Start referring to your wife without explanation and when someone says "wait youre married" be like yeah, you saw our vacation pics.
Damn, this is good 😂
@@typicaljulik I thought it was a pretty clever solution lmao
Me: Stories no longer surprise me
Morgan: Reads first story
Me: That is diabolical (after Lauren says that).
😂😂😂
1:04:08 this is actually insane. I really thought the sister was gonna have not known, but this is awful. Literally rubbing it in her face that shes infertile. Actually disgusting.
THE LAUGH AT THE END WAS ICONIIICCCC god I hope that husband hears it and then never stops hearing it on repeat in his head . I really hope the op sees y'all's takes and finds comfort in it. I feel like you hit the hammer on the head with your takes (as always)
To Morgan and Lauren this was a very very very good episode. Thank you for taking time out of your life to keep us updated with Contant that we can appreciate and listen to while we’re driving or just doing every day things. We love you we love you we love you.
In the first story the other women literally picked up the trash, WHAT DID SHE EXPECT TO GET??? I think he hooked up w/ his ex and is faking the story hoping the other woman would get gaslit, for god sake when he cheated on his girlfriend of 8 years why wouldn’t he cheat on you??
Women think they are the exception to the rule.
Cause no one has ever made a mistake
@mrdavman13 there's a lot of decisions that go into cheating on your partner. it wasn't one mistake.
@@SocietalNoob obviously the whole thing is a mistake, he could’ve changed. He had a whole kid! I’m sure his view on the past isn’t something he’s proud of. Just because it’s cheating doesn’t make it not a huge mistake in the long run. Yeah it’s egregious in the short term. Ten years from now I doubt they will ever think about each other. People change A LOT during having a baby, as much as you might not like giving grace to men. Social noob is right. Stay in the basement.
@@mrdavman13he obviously didn't change or he wouldn't have lied to his pregnant girlfriend. He's a liar and a cheater. And he doesn't respect women
38:50 de rail 😂 the word your looking for is de rail 😂
First story: DAMN i get the revenge part cause he deserves it lol. the girl he cheated with also deserves it lol. i don’t feel bad for him AT ALL. best revenge ever
The kid doesn’t deserve it…
I don’t believe him, I believe he cheated and this post is him trying to sell his story…. 45 minutes talking with long hug after? nah…
@@ok.4322Wouldn’t be the first time a child was impacted by their crappy parents.
Also it’s the other woman who is choosing to keep her baby away from his dad not Annie
Courts don’t allow parents absolutely no visitation on the basis of alleged infidelity so baby will still have a dad
They both just have to suffer their own awful and immoral choices
It made my day and I'm healed inside
Lauren is SO REAL for the decision fatigue at department stores 😭
Plays this at 5 AM to relax before work... * Story 1* no relaxing before work 😂😂😂
Story 5 WTF he was absolutely getting some back room action.
I almost started crying when Morgan said "a year of rent" 😭😭 that's about 2 months of rent for me in southern cali
California prices should be criminal
The guy in story 6 took Shaggy’s hit song “It Wasn’t me” to heart
i love Morgan reminiscing Sears 😂😂
LAUREN I have never heard of anyone else whose eyes get watery when nervous!! My therapist marked down that I’m “tearful” and I’m like I’m not crying I promise I’m just anxious and my eyes have a mind of their own 😭 it happens when I get mad too so then it’s embarrassing AF looking like I’m crying when I’m mad but I’m not!
Sometimes it even happens if I get excited. I’m just a tearful bitch 🤣 but it’s NOT crying! It’s so weird
Hahaha YES!! You get me
My people!
Story 6: OP truly deserves someone way better than that sick lying finance bro. She deserves someone that’s excited to tell anyone in his life about her. Who wants to show her off. Who loves her way more, to the point that he would never think to lie/ hide truth because he wants to “fit in”
This! ALL of this! I do not agree with their take on him at all
@ yeah hopefully they were just a bit exhausted and glad it wasn’t just an overt cheating story or something 😅
Cause seriously, if you put yourself in OP’s shoes, Josh was an absolute idiot at best, or a manipulative psycho at worst… (But most people don’t stay in long term relationships with someone that’s stupid enough to deny having a partner and hide it for that long and never correct it. And an idiot like that wouldn’t be so skilled at keeping his stories straight for that many years… Like seriously - no slip up’s when telling a story over the Years ? The dude legit goes to work and completely forgets about his wife, automatically switches his brain to viewing her as his sister for any stories or future plans that he discusses with coworkers. An idiot doesn’t pull that off. A sociopath could though…)
@@Ciela531 that's what I was thinking lol it's the only plausible explanation 😂
15:19 I think the mom saying Annie wanted to reconcile came from Annie claiming she hooked up with OP since everyone in his life believes her sides of the story
that’s exactly what i was thinking
Same. I interpreted as the mother believing her son cheated with Annie and believing Annie wanted to reconcile since they were supposedly getting together again.
“My eyes are watering because I’m uncomfortable” 😂😂😂
As soon as I see Lauren is on, I have to stop everything and play it. My favorite. Love you, Lauren!!! 🥰
Love you!!! 🩷🩷
Just got into bed in New Zealand and this episode is sooooo gunna put me to sleep in the best way 😌
Nahhh roller coaster lol
15:30 maybe the “reconciliation” was because “they slept together” as far as the mother knows and that was “her trying to reconcile”?
the first girl....HELL YES GIRL FOR DROPPING HIS SHIT OFF AND GHOSTING
Op from story 4 should get a dog, name it Eleo and take it to EVERY family gathering. When people ask question just answer "isn't it funny she choose a name that was on our "doggy name's list ahahaha" 😂
Omg! Yes!! 😂😂😂 this is PERFECT!!! 😂😂
Lmao story 4 is crazy. I would definitely keep the name just bc it was mine first and the sister was soooo insensitive about it too.
As a fellow horse girl that listens to this during hay and grain for 32 horses in the AM… thank you!!! I love this podcast and love you, Lauren, Ale, Justin and dad! Give your ponies a hug for me ❤
For the last story- as someone who works in accounting, he definitely works at a Big 4 and I wholeheartedly believe his story
I love Morgan's heat for story 4 😂
first and last story: the boyfriend / husband are pathological liars!
53:39 lol @me screaming WANDERLUST the second yall started talking about it hahahahaa. Morgan, I’m BEGGING you to watch it. You’ll die of laughter at the mirror scene.
Ok I tried to listen to the podcast version but that first story really made me wanna see your guys' expressions. Such a crazy story
Lauren, yours are my favourite episodes, always. I seriously relate to your thinking, and when you were talking about your eyes tearing up as a passive stress response when you have to do public speaking in class. Throughout my years watching, I've always really wanted to tell you that you should consider getting evaluated for autism--I'm autistic and I can't tell you enough how relatable your very specific "quirks" and "hangups" are as an autistic AFAB adult. I do believe you've mentioned you're diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, and in case you didn't know, that has a high comorbidity with autism. Love you, girl
Episode one the mother doesn’t believe him so in her eyes, she can’t understand why he would have a baby if his ex was willing make up with him .. because the mother thinks that he has been talking to her for a long time
loving lauren's appearances on the show lately SO MUCH
I'm not dismissing what he did but no one (unless they're abusive) should be kept away from their kid
Abusive to who? What she believed he did is extremely emotionally abusive
Cheating? I feel like thats a bit much. Its wrong but it shouldn't be where you aren't able to see your child
