My favorite way to carry my valuables is in a travel infinity scarf with a hidden pocket. I've tried several brands, but Sholdit is my favorite because they are thick enough to conceal my passport, phone, & cash. I also have stitched pockets into the side of my bras. It's a more comfortable place to hide valuables when it's under my arm instead of being in the front, but there is no way to access those items without removing the bra. Also (and I learned this this hard way,) you cannot wear a bra with a cash-filled pocket thru the TSA line. That's why I now prefer the scarf.

I've seen those scarfs but I've never tried one. Thanks for sharing your favorite brand. I will have to check them out! And good know about the bra-filled-with-cash situation.

Lolz I stored my cash in my granddaughters’s diaper, unused of course, while travelling to Kenya.
I have also stored my extra cash in tiny polyethylene bags and put them in my socks.

Hi great channel!! I'm mostly concerned about hiding my larger cellphone-- Where I'm heading, I hear thieves sometimes demand your phone if they can see just the shape of it- Does anyone have any experience completely concealing it? I will have a decoy phone on me as well, but I want to keep the nice one for times when I'm maybe taking pictures... Also really active and love running, anyway to have it on me while running but something where it doesn't fall out?

Other than putting it into a purse or backpack, we do not have any experience completely concealing it. We haven't felt that need at any of the places we have traveled to. Good luck with wherever you are going! It sounds like it will be quite the adventure with a need like that.

October 1986. Walking the Khyber Pass from Afghanistan to Pakistan. My wife had a $100 bill on a safety pin inside the leg of her blue jeans.
Humor. Around 2005, sitting in a conference on an insurance claim. Everyone wearing suits. Claimant is from Armenia. Adjuster looks at him squinty eyed. Can't believe the story that the claimant wasn't carrying a wallet. I reach into my suit jacket pocket and pull out handfuls of cash. The adjuster is dumbfounded. I explain that I have been to Armenia and you don't carry a wallet!
If you are a man, have a button closure put specifically on your pants pockets.

If you have an old sock, you can cut the end off, wrap it around your credit card, place it on your wrist, looks like a sweat band. A joggers phone holder is a good place to put your passport, strap it around your arm under your clothes.

I got mine off Amazon. Unfortunately, it is no longer available on there so I cannot make a personal recommendation. But you could see if there are some others with good reviews.

Why share so everyone and criminals can see

@@MaryLimon-u9b Well, a couple of the products I shared are effective even if the criminals know (e.g. bra and money belt). The other ideas may not fool everyone, but they could help prevent crimes of opportunity. They also are useful for dividing and conquering. If a pickpocket happens to get their hands on your wallet, they are probably not going to also get their hands on a random pad. You’ll be glad for some hidden cash.
