I love how Ren layers his videos with meanings, like how Da Vinci put secret codes in his paintings. You commented on how loud that chair sounded when he opened it. It startled you, which is kind of synonymous with fear. A play on the fear of chairs, there is a word. It is Cherophobia. The definition of the Cherophobia is the Fear of Happiness or of Being Happy, and is often associated with the inability to cope with the sense of loss at the breakdown of a relationship. Pretty cool
You should definitely check out more Chinchilla, her vocals are insane. I love about everything she does, even the more poppy sounding stuff, but just about everyone agrees that the must watch performance of hers is Fingers live for Hunger TV. She takes one of her pop tracks and slows it down with nothing but a piano for backup and there's this epic part where she belts out a verse so powerfully that everybody gets goosebumps.
The acoustics in that hallway is absurd :) Ren is a master harmoniser, but these two work so well together. They have another one released called How To be Me, and there are reportedly 3 more duets coming but Ren is taking care of his health before he finishes those up so we'll have to wait a bit. If you want to hear him sing a bit more, Back on 74 / Message in a Bottle Retake is great for it.
