They don't make em like that no more. One of the greatest supercar designs ever. Every angle of the Diablo literally gives a different perspective. The shape, the vents, the curvature of the side profile, the sound, etc. Diablo is just an art
I have a 99 diablo vt and drive it all the time. It is amazing to drive and fun at all speeds. Blaming the car for not having air conditioning when it simply isn't working isn't exactly fair.
The classic Lamborghini’s will always be an iconic marvel of engineering! Beautiful Diablo spec👏❤️ congrats on the 50k also - Excited to see where this channel will go!
The 1999 Diablo SV, Diablo GT and Roadster are my all-time favorite exotics! To me, they're the best looking Lamborghini models ever made. It would be awesome if the Diablo was recreated with modern day technology, better footwell space and more legroom. I'm not a fan of the rear bumper delete on this car.
5:21 It's a fly-off handbrake, it's not supposed to ratchet. 16:45 Yes! (Also, that particular car is a bit of a mess. Has a lot of odd parts on it. The AC usually works wonderfully well)
Diablos are going up in value, they didn't make many, an aventador sv or not is dropping like a rock, they made tens of thousands of them. Besides my granny can literally drive an aventador, a diablo you get a big kick out of driving it and needing to control it.
Great video thanks fella really enjoy the variety of cars you share with us. Such a unique car collection RUF (Alois) and Koenig (Willy) been doing their thing for decades... I remember the Ferrari Testarossa Koenig Competition... if memory serves it had something like 1000bhp and a boost dial (which you could rotate) to choose the boost setting you wanted... totally bonkers power and outlandish bodykits.
Stunning cars, the Diablo is quintessentially a Lamborghini. In the same mould as the epic Countach 😎 I never owned anything like a Diablo, but i have owned many TVR's, including 2 rare 450 SEAC & 420 SEAC, & and neither had a/c, but their roofs came down, so that helps 😄 Anyway, their clutches were heavy, the 420 had no power steering, and both cars hand brakes were completely cr*p! But i love older classic cars.. And bikes now, i have started collecting 1990's sportbikes. Just bought my 7th 😁 Excellent video, enjoyed it 👍
If you really want to prove your worth, buy a 91-93 Diablo RWD, tune it to 550hp to squeeze out last 55hp from stock engine and hold on for deer life, it’s glorious.
Is this a review about aircon or driving.....??? Maybe you should get a room at the Hilton Double Tree in Florida with the retired folk and have a nice lie down.......
Got to say the air con problem wouldn’t bother me in the slightest if I had the chance to drive that amazing car, lol, the Diablo is my personal favourite though, so I’m a bit biased……….
Superb car I guess now you can do some upgrades like air conditioning, fans, breaks, lift, etc, to make it more usable and enjoyable. A dream ❤️ Diablo prices might increase. Not Aventador so many on the market
Try the original Diablo series 1. No servo, no abs, no 4wd, lighter, faster, more brutal. And you need to go above 4500rpms, where the primary intakes open in any Diablo. ROAR! Comparing to an Aventador SV makes next to no sense, imo.
The 2wd is the way to go if you're buying a Diablo. Either a SV or if you can find one a Jota or SE 30. Even the later model 6.0s and then convert them to 2wd.
Air con problems, no feel to the steering, driving positt looks really uncomfortable, doesn't it have a adjustable column, quite different from Harry's Garage review of the rear wheel drive version, different size driver and age, maybe that's the difference for the seemingly opposing views. Liked the review though but while loving the bumper delete, I hate those exhaust, looks lowered possibly. Maybe it needs a little TLC too, could be why it hasn't left the garage in 18 months.
MORE SEXY than Any women alive and probably cheaper to run does not argue back at you, LAST of the REAL Supercar Lamborghini's after this the German T💩RDs came NO THANK YOU ( too the later ones ) Mate IF you to drive a REAL MANS car you need to try a 1972 Ford Falcon GTHO phrase 3, 351 Cleveland V8 NO PS, NO ABS, Brakes are there BUT poor modern standards vinyl seats ( some were bench seats ) skinny cross ply tires these raced at Bathurst in 1971/72 a hairy chested Beast!! Prefer the 2wd Diablo's
PLEASE ask the driver to change that steering wheel back to something a bit more in keeping with the design. The rest of the car looks fab though. Thumbs up.
I suggest this is just a car in poor condition.....my '99 Diablo is a joy to drive, steers well, brakes fantastic, come across the pond and drive mine....you can downshift into first gear, first gear is good up to 60 mph, why would you not use it? The air conditioning is meh but OK....again, a car in bad condition
I completely agree with you, I have a 91 Diablo and a 99 VT Roadster. Both are amazing and it's because I have actually put money into them. This one looks like it's been beaten throughout the years. Even my 89 Countach is amazing to drive! I have no complaints.

hahahaha!! You are funny. You try driving a supercar in 25c heat with a huge engine right behind you and no air conditioning. There is a reason that air conditioning is standard now in most cars. Unfortunately it doesn't work very well in classic cars.
@@888mf4 Mate no offence, but how many supercars have you driven?? I own a Diablo VT, the handbrake on it is the same as in most old school Ferrari's (who's aircon is also terrible) - how can you be surprised by that? I happened to have driven many Ferrari's 308, 328, 348, 355 in Italy, they are all hot and uncomfortable. There was no bad choice in that collection. The Diablo remains my favourite Lambo, after the Muira. Thanks for sharing!
It wasn't any easy choice. We may go back and driver another of his collection soon. By the way, Nick's Taycan Turbo S featured in a recent drag race

I'd still buy one, but I wouldn't drive it around town. And it would have to be on a cool day. Also, the road would have to be as smooth as glass.
I think it was Clarkson that said....this generation of Lambo's aircon was like an asthmatic hamster blowing on you thru the vents. LOL
He was right!!!
I mean it's not as if you can't upgrade it. Countach owners have successfully made the aircon work and work well
It always bugged me that people think that it was badly made. No, it's just old, old cars AC need servicing

Love titles like this one. It's almost as if anybody can afford such car. Most people didn't even see one in real life once for fuck's sake.
