Fun times! I know I probably could have played dumb and said I thought the speed limit was 60/65 and act super nice, but I honestly just didn't give a shit considering this has no effect on my license and a $200 fine to make a good video is worth it ;) Edit: I don't think even if he had a speed device in his car you can accurately measure the speed of an approaching vehicle while also in a moving vehicle (Why I was clearly targeted) When my cruise control was set on 68 and I know it's pretty accurate.

Exactly, I wanted to say that to a cop ,after getting a ticket for doing 63 mph in a 55 mph zone in our Toyota 4Runner. I usually would be going XXX mph in my modded Camaro SS on that same road. The one day I drive the 4Runner to the store, I get a ridiculous speeding ticket. I drive like a mad man in my Camaro SS and never get a ticket. But come on, 63 mph in a 55 mph zone in a slow 4X4 Truck, when everyone averages 70 mph on that road.

It seems like a Rule of thumb for driving in Pennsylvania (I know he's in NC right now) is to add 15 mph to the posted limit on any highway. 55=70, 65=80 and if its 70 or higher then just go as fast as you want.

I don't know of any one lane road, ie one way in each direction that is higher than 55mph. It doesn't matter if its straight and flat tbh. It's more of a safety issue with on coming traffic and traffic that's turning.
There is a law that points from out of state do transfer expect for only a hand full of states. That’s three points and insurance companies can look up traffic tickets nation wide so your insurance will go up also. I know as a Canadian any ticket you get driving down Atlantic states in the US transfer back home. Good luck with that.

North Carolina resident here, as i got pulled over for the first time, i got a speeding ticket on my clean record for 16 over and had a $268 dollar ticket. I always leave early and i was still hella late to class. I support the police and i even have the thin blue line flag on my truck but even when i asked about academies around there (i want to get into law enforcement, so i like to talk to other officers) he just ignored me and left. he never even tried to talk to me except to say i was going 51 and he needed my license. bro you got off easy. that officer seemed more respectful but you still talked to him like you are the victim.
