I miss the fast paced playstyle of Frost DK from Cata/Mop. I have played nearly every spec in the game and that was my all time favorite. I was so unhappy when they turned Frost into a turtle that spits ice

I never liked Blood, either as a Tank nor as a DPS specc.
@@eziomorte3380definitely my favorite spec and play style of all time. Miss it so much, it dang new ruins wow when they make a spec super fun then take it all away and make it “easier” and boring as hell
Death Knights had mounted combat in Legion with Reins of the Deathcharger. Only usable on the Broken Isles and Argus for one hour per day.
Doing world quests during that one hour felt something else!

You forgot about that item that spawns in dk class hall in legion which allowed to combat mount for an hour and spawned every 24 hours i think. Im at work so cant find the name of it but it spawns on a pole near flight path npc in dk class hall.
Though can only use it in legion zones 😊
Is blood fun to play? I have a low level one just can’t decide if I want to put in the time for DK. Just been trying to tank dungeons
keep up one buff active with a spell, and then basically you have 1 spell rune builder and 1 spell rune spender. And 2 aoe spells to keep active
so ye bruh you gonna spam 2 abilities, and 3 others to track
I was surprised to not hear mention of the Legion hitching post that allowd mounted combat
The fact that we still haven't gotten red and green glowing eye options for unholy and blood spec aesthetics drives me insane

Agree with the eyes. And they need to add a spell detail to Frost D&D. Unholy had defile and have a blue/icy AoE spell detail would be nice for class fantasy.

Or it just means you can mount in combat to get away and nothing at all to do with mounted combat
I'm thinking that's probably what it means too lol. But content creators gonna jabait people cause they need to make money.
I have a feeling this is going to be it, too. Something to give them more mobility. I think people are reading way too much into this and not looking at the specific wording of it.
Yep I think he saw that description and got excited and interpreted it to be full mounted combat. He’s gonna be so disappointed. Full mounted combat would be totally game breaking
@jasgray you forget that can be used in conjuction with death grip and lichborne death n decay.
Death knights will be able to instantly mount while a mages blink + mount wont be fast enough to avoid dismount.

On a pale horse doesn't sound like Mounted Combat to me. It sounds like you can just mount up while you're in combat instead of having to wait until you're out of combat. Am I missing something?

If I had to design this rework, I would add mounted stances simillar to what warriors have such as "Deathcharger Stance" or "Frostwyrm Stance" each with unique benefits and drawbacks so that it doesn't feel OP. Maybe the other stance would have to be your regular unmounted stance. Or you could add a mechanic where DKs farm a meter and when the meter gets full they become mounted, once they start killing stuf the meter gets depleted and they dismount and the cycle repeats again.
I still cant believe they didnt add dragon breath combat in dragonflight.
I was planning to resub for the M0 changes soon (I have no desire for M+ and hate it) and this may have made me want to go DK for War Within. Mounted? OMG.

I think they did really well with the DK hero talents.
On a Pale Horse is going to be a NIGHTMARE in all PvP if it stays as it is.
I get the feeling this just gonna be the ability to cast your mount while in combat. If it was mounted combat, I feel like it would say, "You will no longer be dismounted by combat."

Mounted combat! Ask EQ2 how they do it, just like player housing and shared banks!
This is going to make dks popularity sky rocket, which means when dks because the most played class they are going to have to make them meta or people are going to be pissed not being able to play the class that is the most fun when they can't push keys
I hope these talents will make dk feel smooth the only reason I'm not playing dk is that it feels too clunky and jammed up compared to other plates like fury or ret
the only reason you dont play it its because youre soft.
Unholy is the only plate that demands any kind of brain (only for the perfect open burst tho), the rest are all face piano rotation.

I think if there going to do a rework they should do it for all 3 specs of DK why do it for just frost and then a little love for unholy like he said in this video it’s been over 3-4 expansions with the same talents and all I hope they do do one because we’ve been in need of it for a while now. And the whole mount combat will be nice seeings how we are the slowest class of the game. 🎉❤😅 let’s go blizz show the DK some respect and turn it up a notch or two 😁.

Arguably frost was at its best with 2h in panda and warlords.
They keep trying to force it to be duel wield and 2h simply always ends up way stronger. Which would be fixed if they didnt make dogshit 1h death knight weapons.
Give dk a rework like paly or rog und this is going to be really fun
AND PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE I want my DK voice baccccckkkkkkk Blizaaaaaaard. And bring up the Deathcharger from 2008 to 2024 PLease, we need that horse to get some love and upgrades of model. DK Main since WOTLK and never changed back, I love the rotation and the entire class story and lore and everything about em. I love killing my enemies with plagues the nathrezim used to destroy worlds so I cant wait to see what they do with MY DK. Been off of WOW for almost a year at this point
Cant get over the missed Chance to introduce tinkers to hunters. They double down of the 'hunter' Fantasy which means Tinker class in coming
Tinker and hunter? Nah, tinker should have Panzer tank spec with mechanical battlesuit that can equip 2 shields and one two handed weapon...because it's cool. Then it should have Gunner spec with extra mechanical arm allowing to equip 2 guns but only guns no bows and spawn turrets. 3rd spec should be Shielder which summons shields and heals via repair kits/repair bots and turrets. 😂
FINALLY. Some good news.
Blizz are still stubborn when it comes to hunters. So while things look good for maybe DKs. They still have a lot of work to do as devs for other classes.
Idk man i dont think death knights are back especially frost, frost play style is still the same it has been since legion expansion hasnt changed at all and if it stays the same as it is coming to war within then the hero talents dont make frost any different
They did say frost is where they want it to be. So not much is gonna change

the hero talents are cool and all, but the basic patch notes for it make me think they hate death knights

Isn't this just saying you will be able to mount while in combat... more like an escape.. it doesn't say anything about being able to use abilities while mounted...
They are finally giving a wheelchair to DK.
Yes hero talents are great and im looking forward for them, but what is it worth when base of DK feels so outdated...

Uuuuuummmm….has this been play tested? Because I’m not so sure that means what you think it means. I’m reading On a Pale Horse to simply mean that you can mount while in combat (which you currently cannot) not that you can do full combat while mounted. I hope I’m wrong

DKs needed the mobility desperately in the game. With as mobile as some classes are, I don't think this will make DKs OP since I'm sure Blizz will nerf them in some area for balance.

They should add Invincible to that tooltip as well as archeus as they share the same model and size and would be super cool! Specially because I have it haha.

I don't know if any of it matters anymore.. in PVP Demon Hunters have remained top tier for 4 seasons, same for M+, every other class requires skills that are only evident in top tier players... I've paid attention to all the hype and drama about every class except there are no hype videos for Demon Hunters... apparently its what the devs have been playing.

To me its just more logical to firstly issue whole rework of class(like lock and monk aswell) and only then add hero talents as cherry on sundae, once i know how new reworked class will function. Iam bit worried that dk will be same outdated sht with few passive effects added. Anyways keep doing great vids ❤️
I really hate dks have to summon their ugly side kick ghoul all the time
they try to do everything in their power to not copy paste the Diablo necro... this class should have choice to use different pets by now... blood golems? bone golems? im sick and tired of Timmy by now... what happened to pvp slow walking zombies? why not use runes to summon instead using melee abilities? change gameplay so we don't just stack CD's every 3 min... they can do so much more but they do the ret divine stead skill...

because it ruins pvp more and more with all this shit
