The Blue CEO-11 is very intriguing. I'd love to hear a more intimate recording of that guitar. Loved the Peter Frampton portion at the end. I have a 2025 D-42 arriving this Friday. Can't wait to embrace the changes. I hope the new bracing suits the instrument. the 2024 D-41/42 were great.
I have wanted to ask a question for almost 2 years: Who is purchasing all of the new guitars? Not only Martin, but Taylor, Laviree, Gibson, and so on. The increase in prices is staggering. There must be a plethora of guitar players...who have a lot of money. I have purchased a CEO 7 and a 0 18. I struggled to justify the money I spent.
Can't believe Marton's string expert can't even give the correct dates of string evolution.. He stated 80/20 started in the 1930's and Phospher Bronze started in the 60's...Wrong.. the Phospher Bronze were first made available in 1974 by D'Addario. The CEO couldn't even make a correct statement about the nut width on the Billy Strings D28. he stated it is a little wider than 1-3/4"..wrong. it is 1-23/32" which is just a little wider than the 1-11/16".
@@timklemons7205 Well I do believe the Martin executives and experts at Martin that do these presentations should do their homework and present the facts and not guess about details.
just got the martin special d 2000.00 guitar came with cheapest gig bag i've ever seen, martin should look at the areobag that comes with taylor guitars and take some notes !
Hard to believe Martin can make such an ugly, gawdy looking guitar for their 3 million guitar celebration. Good luck getting anyone to pay $300000 for one of these..Doesn't say much about their vision, planning, design and management decision making. The same can be said of their new painted and colored guitars...all ugly, gawdy and non traditional Martin.
The martin booth is lame. I cant waite to see ,boucher, collings, santa cruz,Gallagher, and eastman. I am not interested in a painted blue,or colored guitar. The 3 millionth guitar is ridiculously bombastic. The best part of their booth was the peter frampton interview.
You must remember, most of framptons greatest songs were written and acoustically inspired by his beloved epiphone texan slope shoulder acoustic guitar, fact...
This is also a sales promotion and slight demo of their product. You would seriously think that they would have had prepared with decent acoustic audio equipment and pre sound test. What an embarrassment to hand Peter a dead microphone. It seems martin has stooped to old gibson sakes tactics . Gimmick and exstream bling. If you cant dazzle them with sonics and playability ,then dazzle them with bling
Mr. Frampton is such a special person. I'm lucky enough to have gotten to see him live several years ago. What a great show and incredible musician.
Great job with this......thanks
Great video - Peter Frampton - my god!
Love the OM ! M6 /7 !!!

I could listen to Craig play all day!

Good thing we've got you here to set the record straight!

I think you should attend NAMM next year and fact check (heckle?) all presenters at all booths.
@ You don't believe Guitar company reps or presenters should present detailed accurate facts/descriptions of their products?
I can’t even believe that you spelled Martin as ‘Marton’ 🤔 in your initial message! 😮
I tried the Kovar strings last year and thought they were exceptional.

I like their bags!
I’d always associated Frampton with the Ovation acoustic guitar and Epiphone(s).
Thank God the banana is not as dry as the CEO.. Poor banana lmao!!!
They lost me with the buddhist symbol but I do like the color.
Wow, their CEO calls his people out publicly about the banana on the floor? I bet he's a joy to work for. 😐 Not cool.
It was just a joke. I thought the same thing.

Yes, they make it easy to buy another brand!
Not a fanboy of any one brand. Just so you know that Taylor just changed the game with their new neck mount and adjustment system.

I`m fully agree, I`m disappointed with Martin, it became a boring company.
New Martin are 💩
Hey Mr. Martin what`s going on? why you offer such ugly guitars now?
