Entrance Ceremony Lost in Pandemic for Senior Students, Current Students Hosts to Express Gratitude

The Entrance Ceremony AY2020 was supposed to be held on April 5, four years ago. On March 13, 2024, the ceremony was held in the Auditorium of the University Hall, attended by President NAGATA and other board members.
The ceremony was hosted by the Zengdai-kai, a student organization representing current students. Various other organizations, including THK, the University of Tsukuba Orchestra, and the calligraphy club, cooperated in organizing the ceremony, which was held to express gratitude to the seniors who entered AY2020 and were unable to experience the entrance ceremony and other events for new students due to the pandemic of the COVID-19. The university fully cooperated with this heartwarming project of the current students. The event was attended by 264 students, including senior students who will graduate this spring and graduate students who have already completed their studies.
